Giving this a 1 because I had a scheduled appointment at 1030am which I scheduled the week prior and was texted 30 prior to my appointment cancelling. No "let's reschedule " just an appointment cancelling my appointment due to car trouble. I understood things happen however this was my first time trying them out and no offer to reschedule was even an option . That's poor customer service in my opinion. NEVER AGAIN. Brought my dog, Roscoe, here on Feb 4th for a full groom. The next day he had some red marks on his underbelly. They didn't clean his ears or trim his nails so I cleaned his ears myself. I spoke to the owner to ask who groomed my dog, he said he didn't know. They have no record of who grooms who. They just go based off of "knowing". After describing my dog, he says he thinks he's the one who groomed him. Roscoe was brought back to the groomer to look at his belly and to complete the job of cleaning his ears (although I already did it) and trimming his nails. The owner was nice enough to offer to pay for the vet bill if taken to his vet. The vet was booked 6 weeks in advance and said they will contact me if there's cancellation (No calls yet to this day). The vet gave me some advice and the owner compensated me for some cream to use on his belly and I put a cone on him. A few weeks go by and nothing from the vet or Heath (owner). Roscoe was depressed, not eating, not moving, & didn't want to walk. We had to hand feed him, bring him water, and carry him in and out the house to potty. He was in pain and suffering from what happened at the groomers. I called the owner to ask for a refund because I was very unhappy with the service. I shouldn't pay $70 for an unfinished job, my dog to be scraped on his belly, and for us take care of him while he healed. Heath said no refund. I asked why, and he said, "Because a service was done and I got paid for it". Every time I tried to explain my dissatisfaction and what Roscoe is going through he replied with, "I'm sorry you feel that way", and "No I can't give you a refund, I'm sorry you feel that way". Heath said Roscoe probably had an allergic reaction to the shampoo or razor. But it would have been all over his body and it was only on his belly where he was shaven closely. Never has Roscoe had a problem at the groomers until this one. As of last week, Roscoe is fully healed. A month to nurture him back to normal. Also, they don't check for vaccinations so be weary of bringing your dog here. They only check vaccinations for puppies. RIDICULOUS. read more

STAY AWAY!!!!!!!! Did not groom my dog properly (forgot about the nails and ears) and even gave her cuts! When asked, the owner acted dumb and could not tell me who groomed my dog (how unprofessional!!) did not offer compensation and gave us an attitude instead. NEVER AGAIN! Goes to show that they do not care about our fur babies here. Save your time, money and save your dog from abuse and go somewhere else. read more

*update* I had to take my dog to the vet, I swore it was a flea bite (my dog is allergic to fleas) but the vet said it was caused by the shampoo not being properly rinsed or rinsed enough. So that cost $200+ so I will likely not bring my dogs back. I did pay for the hypoallergenic shampoo and he made a comment that my dog didn't like that because she had to sit long for a long time but my dog has incredibly sensitive skin. Still leaving 3 stars as they LOOKED good. I had a wonderful experience at Stella's Pet Spa! My dogs didn't come home nicked and as difficulty's my pups are they have a really clean, even cut. We are very satisfied customers. We took our two terrier mixes to get some serious grooming. The owner did such excellent work. He was so patient and kind to our dogs. Last few times have been disappointing. Average time that my dog is there is 5-6 hours, even though they say 4. Last month they left the stomach matted, and the guy said that's on us. This time was better, I really like the blonde lady there she's super sweet, but he came back with a choppy chest so we went back to get a touch up 2 days later. The same guy who left it matted the month before said it's because we didn't brush him(we did) and said that my dog is old and doesn't like being brushed in his stomach so it's our fault. For 75$ not including tip it's really not worth it, you can get cheaper and better elsewhere. Love the blonde lady, not the tall dude. read more

Yesterday was the first time I took Reina, my 11 month old Rottweiler to Stella's and I was extremely happy with the results.
