Brought my boy for a well needed appointment, great groomers! It's a small crack in the wall place but their friendliness and over all service makes up for it. Best groomers around! This is literally the only place I go. I moved out of Eastvale to Rancho but I still go here religiously! You can tell they care about their clients dogs. They are reasonably priced, for full groom I believe it's $55?! Or something like that, it includes bath with shampooing, nails, cut and butt gland release. I will never go anywhere else. Not sure if they changed owners from a little over a year ago but I use to take my other dog here for over 8yrs. But what a disappointment. Took my new dog in for grooming. Prices went up by $30 (same type of dog). This was the third time I take my dog in and the second time didn't notice a difference in his cut. They didn't bother to cut his ear hairs (said he wouldn't let them) he's only 6 months. This LAST time they told us if we didn't like it we could go somewhere else. As if that wasn't my plan already. Benny has now had the pleasure of "spa time" with Christina and her staff a few more times and he goes in the shop with anticipation and comes out a handsome and proud pup. He seems to say, "Look at me! I look fabulous! And I smell good too!!" (Reminder from previous post - Benny is fearful of most everything and everybody.) Both my husband and I are so grateful to have found Superstar Pup Grooming. The consistency of a great clip and knowing our boy is being treated with care and respect is priceless; and all that care at a reasonable price. One added note: Christina's business card is one of the most creative and artistic advertising efforts I've seen in a very long time! The drawing of dogs dressed in lavish robes with cucumbers on their eyes, plush slippers and curlers and ribbons in their hair is just too darn clever and "fun". Hmmm not impressed took my little dog to them to groom quoted a price and then up-charged based on my dog was hard to handle and she needed additional assistance?? she is 1 1/2 yrs old isn't this their job to handle? She is a small dog first red flag... 2nd- I was very detailed on what I wanted and to make her cute with bows. Was assured she was in good hands... We not only got up charged but the bare basics simple groom with no character & NO BOWS or even Scarf like the other dogs pictured really nothing to make this visit special WOW! $50 dollars really!!! We've been taking our Dogs to Colleen for years. She is so great. She goes the extra mile for our dogs and takes great care of them. Today she went above and beyond to help our bloodhound feel better after he skin was all bitten up and scratched by fleas (killed the fleas before bringing her in). Aloe, oatmeal bath, and a few other things to help. She hasn't scratched once in hours. Plus she really looks out for the dogs. I used this groomer for about a year but never again. First and foremost they have poor customer service, poor communications, they are unreliable, and they ate inconsistent. They always charge more than they quote you also. Early in the spring when picking up my dog from a cut I scheduled my dog two months in advance due to,the difficulties I had had getting them to respond. A few days prior to my appointment which I had arranged my work schedule they canceled on me and basically refused to work with me to reschedule. Fast forward two months and a friend who goes there was able to help me get an appointment. They butchered my Scottish terrier... they shaved her skirt, they gave her a westi cut around the face and ears, and the tail I don't even know what that was supposed to be like but they made my beautiful pure breed Scotty look like a mongrel mutt.
