Beau hissing at the cat on the bag of cat food!
    Jasmine A.

I usually get my cat food at Safeway, Superstore, or London Drugs, depending on convenience and who's having a sale, and after discovering a brand of kitty litter that I like (Ökocat) at London Drugs, I've been going there for litter. However, London Drugs appears to have stopped consistently stocking that brand of kitty litter, so I searched for stores that sold it, and discovered that Pet Smart does. So several months ago, in need of kitty litter, I went to the Pet Smart at Metrotown, as it was a fairly convenient location for me. I had never gone to Pet Smart before, and my first visit was quite pleasant -- I found exactly what I needed, and I received great customer service. I've still been picking up cat food from Safeway, Superstore, and London Drugs, but I have also made some cat food purchases at Pet Smart, and they are now my go-to place for kitty litter. With the whole Coronavirus pandemic, I thought it was wise to stock up on kitty litter and cat food, and discovered that Pet Smart offers free delivery with purchases over $49. So I ordered a couple of large boxes of kitty litter and canned cat food. A few days later, the delivery arrived without issue. Unfortunately I realized that I had forgotten to order dry cat food and I was running low, so I made another order for two bags, as well as some cat nip, and to my surprise, the delivery arrived the very next day! I am definitely a fan of this delivery service! Kitty litter and cat food is heavy, and as a non-driver, this is a life saver. I wish I had known about this delivery service when I had my previous cat, Simon. I think the reason I never went to Pet Smart is because there wasn't one anywhere near me, so it's great that there is now one at Metrotown, a transit accessible location that is easy for me to get to. However, from now on, I will be using this delivery service. Funny Beau story: My husband witnessed Beau hissing and growling, with his tail puffed up and back arched, at the image of the cat on the bag of cat food!

Good store, they have everything. Staffs there are warm and helpful. But their price is a little bite high.

I can't say enough good things about Seon Gyoung and her Moving Dog Spa…read more I would recommend Moving Dog Spa to anyone who considers their dogs overall well-being while getting groomed because Seon Gyoung is incredible! I have an anxious rescue pup who tends to be incredibly shy and anxious with new folks, not to mention people who need to touch him! I've had my dog groomed three times now with Seon Gyoung of Moving Dog Spa and I can say, without hesitation, that she provides incredible care, kindness, skill and love during the entire grooming process. My pup always comes out looking so good and more than that, is calm and happy. I would recommend Moving Dog Spa to anyone who wants their dogs in the care of skilled, kind, compassionate people.

I paid her $178.50 to groom my Maltese. I told her I was growing her hair long when booking the…read moreappointment and twice before she took the dog into the van, only to have her cut all her fur off to less than an inch all over her body. My dog is a year and a half, and her hair had never been cut ever since she was born, and now it will take years for it to grow back after this. Not only did she cut the fur off, the cut itself was so extremely poor, I've had people ask me if I cut it myself. I posted the post-groom pictures on my Maltese group online, and the consensus was this person is not a "master groomer". Every single leg is cut different, her face is different on either side, there are scissor cuts left in the fur all over her body. She did have a top knot before the groom, and I told the groomer that I like to put it in a ponytail every single day, and she cut it so uneven and short that she herself had to put it into two ponytails because it's almost impossible to have it put into one ponytail with how it's cut. And to be clear, I handed over a dog that had ZERO knots or mats in her fur. I combed through her fur with a metal comb less than an hour before the groomer arrived. Completely devastating when I was so specific. Within minutes of meeting the groomer by her van, she told me that my dog was not a purebred (I have papers), that she had a blocked tear duct, and that her hair would never grow long. I brought her to the vet the next day because of course I was worried if she maybe she did have a blocked tear duct. A $90 veterinarian examination fee and five minutes later to be told her eyes are perfectly fine. And then there another $90 for another groom to have this absolutely terrible cut fixed. What a nightmare. If you're looking for a specific cut, while this person identifies as a "master groomer", the cut she gave she might as well be working at Petsmart, which is where most people thought I brought my dog to have her hair done. So in total, I have paid $358 to have my 5 pound dog trimmed. I also wonder if she is even an actual working groomer now. She showed up in a van that was completely smashed up on the side, and when I looked in her van, it looked more like storage than a place where a dog could be groomed. Never again. So ripped off. The first two pictures are right after the groom in the van, and the last picture is the beautiful dog I handed over to her.
