Self Serve Dog Wash Station Stopped in at the brand new opening of the Bosley's in the Langley Mall. Store is well laid out and the staff super friendly and helpful. Do was as advertised on their website as $15 per dog with towels, shampoo and conditioner all included. The newly installed sprayer for the water was very poor in water volume, it the manager informed me before I purchased and she also told me that replacements had been ordered. The wash area while "open air" to the store, it is cordoned off with an ample space to work. There are two wash basins. The store does advertise that the dryers provided blow only room temperature air. I get it such that dogs aren't harmed by hot blowers but conversely they don't have enough air volume to really be effective. Bottom line I would give this 4/5 stars and I would return here for this service and pet supplies in general. read more

Quite a good size store out in New Westminster for Pet supplies. Bosley is located in the same plaza as IGA so there's plenty of parking. The staff are really friendly and the store has a good selection of items. I'd visit again if I'm ever in the area. read more

This pet store ( Bosley's) has provided me with the WORST customer service out of any other pet store I have been a patron of. I have a beloved, spoiled pet and I am new to BC. I live in New West but will now go much further out of my way just to avoid this store. The first time I was there was fine. I bought a nice Microban dome litter box, hard food and wet food. I spent about 90 dollars. I knew what I wanted so the staff left me alone. That's why it was fine, I now realize. The next time I went in, I told the girl (young, white, brunette, sorry I don't know names) that I needed litter linings. They have them with a drawstring by Petmate. I pointed to the litter box I had previously purchased and she told me I needed the jumbo size. The large size would be too small, she said. I also bought more wet food. When I get home, I realize that she was wrong and I needed the large. I am also upset because the guy (younger, dark hair, white) who was at the cash, did NOT give me a receipt. Yes, I should have asked but I was not thinking. Also, it so happened that my cat did not like the duck flavor of wet food, so I kept another one aside hoping I could exchange it along with the liners. So I went in again today at 6:20 PM, July 22nd. There were two new people working. Both of them did not know what they were doing. The first one was an older Indian gentleman and the other was a younger Asian girl. The older man told me to bare with him, he was a "rookie". I explained the whole situation to the older man and he said, nothing leaves this store without a receipt! I said, nicely, well yes, it did, he did not give me a receipt. So he told me to go back and get the items to exchange them. At this point, I feel happy because I know I will spend a lot of money in their store and they must realize these are their products, and it was their mistake in the first place (the liners, not the duck flavor). But when I get back to the cash he totally changed his demeanor and I swear to God he actually started YELLING at me "Nothing leaves the store without a receipt!" "We cannot exchange anything!" " You'll have to come back NEXT WEEK when the manager is here"!!! No kidding! Dear Manager of Bosley's: You just lost a good customer. Your staff are rude, inexperienced and incorrect. I will now find another pet store. read more

Was in there browsing the stock. The prices where higher than what I'm used too (but this applies to all Bosley's) and saw her and a customer yelling at each other. I'm not sure what caused this but I know that is no way to EVER treat a customer. Whats amazing is that the guy still bought the food! To be fair I'll give it one star extra. The first time I went to Bosley's in New West, was the day I was getting my new puppy. I went to buy a small bag of dog food and was very stressed out, having spent weeks researching the many, MANY, variety of foods. Once I got there though, the staff helped me out immensely and answered all my questions, and I left feeling much more confident about my purchase. The second time I went there, I was going to switch my puppy's dog food flavor because he was having some smelly issues. But again, after talking to the staff, they actually convinced me not to buy a new bag (I still had half a bag left over) and to give my puppy more time to adjust. So instead of pushing a sale, they focused on the best action for my puppy. The third time was the real "service" clincher for me. Not only did the staff help me carry out a rather large bag of dog food to my car since I had my hands full with my puppy, but they also helped me out when I was outside trying to get my nervous pre-vet appointment puppy to calm down. One of the staff came out and brought some treats and helped me get him out of the garden and calmed him down, and even gave me some tips on how to get him to listen to me a little better. Considering at this point I was already outside and had been out of the store for over 20 minutes (waiting in the vet's office), I found her help and advice very thoughtful and above and beyond what I would expect from any retail store. read more

OMG I never thought I would cheat on PetSmart but Bosley's has taken my heart. They recently opened a location close to my house and they carry all the things that my dogs need but better quality. Granted some of the prices are higher but you are saving in gas. It evens out. The owners are always so nice to us and when I asked about an item they were extremely knowledgeable which is a bonus. Also, there is a girl that comes in twice a week to do dog nails but what really sold me on her was that when we were looking at items for our very loud and obnoxious Schnauzer/Dachshund cross she was so helpful and full of tips to help us in better training him. I am going to be back with furry mutts in hand and can't wait. read more

Favorite pet store! If they don't have it in stock they'll order it or suggest a comparable or better product. These folks are amazing here, and the owner Karima is vested in this place, heart and soul. Just recently we had a fire in our place and had to move out until our place was deemed liveable once again and Karima (the owner) generously offered to take care of our two cats when she found out. No questions asked, no arguments, she insisted. She came to the rescue when we hadn't the time to sort a temporary foster home for Franco and Ella. It's people like this who amaze me with their kindness and generosity. We will be forever grateful and loyal to her, her store. She created a sense of community and I feel everyone that walks in Bosley's in New Westminster that they are walking into community or that bar from the sit com 'Cheers'. I've been coming here for the last year or so to get my cat's over-the-top expensive food. I can't help it - she refuses to eat anything else, so whatever. Each time I come here, I'm blown away by how friendly the staff are. They genuinely seem to like their jobs and that alone makes me want to support a business like this. The ravenous beast that runs my life requires a steady supply of cookies. She's a reactive dog, but food motivated, so never, ever do I go out without a handful of treats in my pocket as insurance/reward for good behaviour. That's just how it is. Now I could plan ahead and go somewhere else with a little bit lower prices on the doggy treats (and maybe a bit wider selection of toys), but this Bosleys is just so darned conveniently located. And despite my grumpiness, because the staff always ask if I need a hand as I'm beelining it straight to the cookie aisle like the obedient dog servant I am, they wear me down with their friendly smiles. And the warmth comes straight down from the top - the owner Karima is usually there and she does so much for her customers and the animal-loving community at large. And then there's my favourite part, seeking out the adoption kitties for a visit. Waldo-like, the cats can often be found wandering the aisles or curled up in one of the kitty condo thingies. I can't really have a cat with the dog I have, so it's always fun to give one of Bosley's menagerie a little love too. read more

The staff is super friendly and helpful.They have quality dog food and snacks, which I come for. (Grain free.) It's a bit more pricey, but well worth the money. My dog loves the Zukes dog treats that they carry in various flavors and sizes. I like to pet the two cats they have roaming around. All in all, its always a good experience. read more

Really friendly folks and naturally friendly, not weird about it. It has a casual feel and they're helpful. They also usually feature shelter animals residing at the store for adoption and don't sell any animals from a mill (there are no live animals for sale). I like some of their pet home decor like doggy picture frames etc and picked up a really nice leash! Competitive prices. There's a natural dog deodorizer here that I can't get anywhere else. Due to the vet clinic next door their health/wellness products are usually out of stock. Please also note that Hartz flea med is highly toxic and has been reported to cause convulsions and sudden death(please do your research and take your pet to the vet for proper med such as Frontline or Advantage). This is a good store. The people are very nice and helpful if you want them to be. I like that they have a beautiful store cat who I can visit while I'm shopping. They also have cats and dogs they are babysitting for people. They have a good selection of food and supplies for cats. Not sure about the dog stuff as I don't have one. If there's anything negative it's that their prices are a little bit higher than the store I used to visit when I lived in Vancouver. However, it's a minor glitch in what is a great store. read more

The staff are incredibly friendly, kind and seem to honestly love animals. They helped us fit our little cat cheese for a new harness and Cheese is always happy to see them. I'd like to see an expanded selection of raw food but overall they have what we need - high quality Food, BC made litter, and Kitty Boings. A million kitty boings. read more

Extremely disappointed in the service I received on my last visit due to an unprofessional employee making me feel uncomfortable. Sounds strange to have this experience at a pet store (which is why I'm writing this review) I was caught off guard by a comment he made to me in front of other employees and customers which was unnecessary and rude. He must have been having a bad day or is just completely ignorant are the only excuses I can think of. Keep your bad attitude at home, not for serving customers! read more

Love the service for our Old English Sheepdog - Don Pedro! We have purchased a few larger items, his food now and find the service where we are able to be drop him off at anytime for a few minutes whilst we run to the neighboring stores, is great. The owner here is very rude and artificial but not an animal lover and is in it for business only. She was very friendly at first when I purchased my dog food and said it would be no problem to exchange the bag if my dog did not like it. I returned the next day and told her that my dog would not eat it and she gave the nastiest look to me like I was bothering her. I support businesses who have a passion for what they are selling but she defiantly does not. read more

I will never shop here again. Normally I go to Pet Smart but I recently decided to give this shop a chance because it is so close to the sky train, but after my few experiences here I will never shop here again.I have never met such a rude, unstable manager before in my life. The way she talks to customers is very condescending, she berates her staff and I have seen her not even lift a finger to help her staff or customers when they need help. Do not buy from her.
