I think the groomer must be part magician as this dog is huge and never holds still for a minute (labradoodle, 70 lbs). Every time they bring him out after grooming, it takes me a minute to recognize him as he looks so different! We can tell he feels better too! He also enjoys hearing, smelling the other dogs there for boarding, daycare hahah and is not in any hurry to leave . So simple for us parents, we just drop him off and a few hours later, we get a call that he is ready. Excellent customer service, everyone is super attentive and polite. Thanks Rover Stay Over and see you next time!

This much as obvious as soon as you meet Sarah in her training center--she's passionate about a)…read morethe well-being of all dogs, b) her human clients and maximizing their communication / relationship with their dogs, and c) the art / skill / career of dog training. We already had 2 well-adjusted dogs when we adopted our third, a 7-month old puppy with issues our older dogs never had...so we took the new guy for private training in Sarah's "Fundamentals Program". Sarah spent several hours with us during the initial session (in the evening, so both human parents could be there), getting to know our dog, our concerns, teaching us techniques, literally walking us through drills with a slip lead (since leash reactivity was one of our pup's biggest issues), and observing both of us 'parents' and giving us individual pointers. It wound up being literally life-changing for us and the puppers. Ever watch a YouTube dog training video, or any episode of Cesar Milan, where some out-of-control punk pup is rehabilitated into a responsible canine citizen within the span of a few minutes of screentime, and think 'it'll never work like that with MY dog'? (I have...cuz we were pretty desperate before heading to Naturally Driven K9). Well it's not instantaneous in real-life...but spend a few hours with a kickass trainer like Sarah, and it CAN be that easy to transform the puppers (or your relationship with your puppers) if you're consistent in applying what you've learned. It's not like we weren't trying before, it's just that our pre-Sarah attempts at training him were ineffective. One of the open secrets about Sarah's profession must be that 'dog training' is just as much (if not more) about training the humans. Dog 'parents' can run on the defensive side--so the fact that Sarah teaches us humans in a way that's expert, constructive, but comes across as non-threatening, makes her training so easy to be receptive to. She's clearly studied many different philosophies of dog training (and continues to do so), but she's a dog parent just like the rest of us and seems to have adapted the best aspects of other trainers she's learned from, and her own experience, into her own common sense, effective style. Leash walks used to be dreadful ordeals for us as well as the puppy, and she's given us the tools to make our walks happy and productive instead of loud, stressful, and aggressive. Long way of saying, we love Sarah, and can't thank her enough--the things she's taught us about how to interact with our puppy has improved our communication with the older dogs as well--and by the time we returned for our 1 hour followup session with Sarah only 2 weeks later, it was like we were bringing back a completely different dog. Highly recommend her services.

We never got anywhere close to where we felt safe with our pups. One dog in our class had the "Hannibal lector" mask on and would lunge at our dog each time she went near. I referred neighbors to her but after classes we felt we had overpaid and was severely under delivered. A nice person but I feel no differently with our dogs after paying over $500 than I did at Petsmart and $100.

Cedarwoods is awesome!…read more We met with Sam for a free consultation and told us about the philosophy behind their training. They don't use treats to train the dogs. I know my dog and if you don't have a treat he won't listen to a thing you say! But it worked! We went through the basic training class and then the off lead training. Our dog is easily excitable and wants nothing more than to play with the other dogs, so keeping his attention was difficult. But over the time we were there our dog learned to listen and obey and have fun while doing it. I would say our dog is one of the more difficult cases and he made amazing progress! About a week before we started taking our dog here, I was mentioning Cedarwoods to a coworker. There was someone working on the electrical just there for the day, he heard me talking and said he took his dog there and loved it! And that's the feedback I get from everyone who's gone to Cedarwoods. I highly recommend Cedarwoods! Every dog can benefit from the training! It's worth every penny.

Dr. Milan Milovancev is truly a godsend! He saved my dog's life. We were able to schedule an…read moreelective surgery just before it turned into an emergency thanks to his quick consultation and ability to move forward with surgery right away. Dr. Milan took the time to answer every single one of my questions, explain the details thoroughly, and develop a plan that prioritized my dog's success while also being mindful of financial constraints. He focused on the essential tests that made the surgery possible for me to afford, and it was always clear that his top priority was my pet's well-being and quality of life. He is exceptional at what he does, and I will always be grateful I found him. The techs were also fantastic; walking me through the pre- and post-op process with care and professionalism. That said, the business side of this hospital left a very different impression. The financial policies feel rigid, profit-driven, and disconnected from the compassion their medical staff provides. My dog's gallbladder surgery was around $10k and they required full upfront payment before even beginning check-in. This drastically delayed check and check out unnecessarily. They do not offer direct pay options with insurance providers and insisted this was somehow a "benefit" to me. In reality, requiring $10k cash or card upfront- and even refusing checks- puts families in heartbreaking positions during emergencies. The check-in process was stressful and impersonal. My dog wasn't even taken back until the payment fully cleared, which took about 30 minutes while I worked with my bank to lift a daily card limit. During checkout, I was immediately presented with a card machine for an additional $850 balance before they would even start preparing my dog for release. There was no warm greeting, no conversation about how my dog did- just a transaction. It made me feel like seeing my dog again was contingent on payment, which overshadowed the relief I felt knowing the surgery was successful. While the front desk is urgent and quick to demand the money- they cannot answer a single billing question from your receipt. In summary: The medical staff here, especially Dr. Milan, are outstanding and truly care about pets and their families. Unfortunately, the administrative and financial side of the clinic delivers a cold, business-first experience that undermines the incredible work being done in the operating room. If Dr. Milan were to practice elsewhere, I would follow him without hesitation. Huge tip: if you are traveling from out of town or just want an additional night right next to their 24/7 urgent care the hotel has a contract with them that provides a great discount. Edit/ post review: the surgical/medical team is just awesome. Called and helped me with post operation help.

My dog had TPLO surgery and she is now 100% back to her old self! From the initial consultation to post-surgery care, to rehabilitative services, everyone seemed focused on our goal, which was for my dog to be able to run (her favorite activity) and live her best life. We can't say enough good things about everyone, from the staff at the front desk, to the techs providing information, to anyone (everyone!) who took my calls post-surgery as we worked through a significant healing process. We opted for rehab services and couldn't have found a better care team!

Meridian St Veterinary clinic is still the best place to take your furry family member for care…read more The Veterinarians and staff will go above and beyond to give the best care possible! Get this, I took my Bella ( kitty) to the groomer for a nail trim. The groomer mentioned it looked like she had an infection in her nail bed. I felt bad and didn't want my kitty in pain. On the way home I passed by the Meridian St Vet clinic. I stopped in and explained the situation to them. They saw my kitty right then ,and gave her the antibiotics she needed. I was beyond grateful as I have to medicate my kitty with gabapentin prior to any grooming or vet visit. And she was already medicated due to her visit to the groomer. Despite that, what veterinary clinic will see your pet on a walk in visit? Normally, you would have to go to emergency care. This clinic is amazing, and the care is superb. They will treat your pet as if it were their own. Do not hesitate to get your pet cared for here.

I made an appointment to have my dogs ears cleaned out. I know she's having issues with them…read morebecause this clinic told me about them before. And since I have been to the clinic which has been months, I have been maintaining her ears by myself with cleaner and medicine. What I wanted was for her to have her ears fully cleaned out because it's difficult for me to do so by myself and with the tools that I can use. Basically, I needed a professional to do it properly and thoroughly. Well, you can see in the picture how thorough the job was. I am furious because this is less than 24 hours later. It looks worse than it did before I went because it's more inflamed and red now. So they made it worse and to top it all off they charged me $170 to do it. They won't take any ownership of it. They won't help me fix it. They just told me I was screwed and that was it. Do not waste your time going here unless you like fraudulent businesses because this is BS on a new level.
