My review is for the grooming. I took my 14lb little Italian Spitz dog for a bath and brushing de-shedding service. When I went to pick him up I heard him crying/yelping in the back. I asked the groomer Teagen how he did is he okay? She said he did great, just fine and is a little anxious is all. I bring him home and straight away notice a HUGE cut in his balls and bleeding. Did they think not to tell me because I wouldn't notice?? I understand accidents happen but lying that his yelping is due to anxiety and not the fact you literally CUT HIS BALLS, they're bleeding and to not tell the owner is bad practice. The vet said this is what occurs when groomers use a blade too hot too close/not the right size. Paid 74$ for the grooming only to have to pay an additional $$$$ for a vet appointment. Not trustworthy. If you end up taking your pet here for grooming after reading my review make sure to inspect your fur baby before leaving the store. Unbelievable read more

PetSmart - Pet Stores Near Me - Bellevue, Washington

The kittens I adopted from petsmart both turned out to have ringworm, I discovered lesions within the next day of adoption (I initially thought it was from a kitty scuffle) but took them to vet as soon as I could after I started to inspect them more closely. This is a very contagious fungus that is difficult to eradicate, especially in shelters. I didn't realize this at first or wouldn't have kept them initially. I''m not sure how to rate petsmart. I trusted them to work with quality/reputable Rescues because of their name. I had a good experience with petsmart (Charley specifically) he listened and was concerned and cared but the rescue seems to care about money first...So I'd already paid the adoption fee and incurred all the pet supply costs and they had already contaminated my home before I realized what was going on. And add on the emotional feelings. So I got stuck in a sunk cost trap. I spent over $1000 including the pet adoption fee, pet supplies (which I've had to toss) and almost 6 weeks of trying to treat it. I finally gave up after my dog and I showed infection and returned them to the shelter.. Petsmart did provide vet care after my initial visit to my personal vet. So I thank them for that, or I should say Adams County Pet Rescue should. I've had cats my whole life and never encountered this, I had no idea!!!. And to top it off after all this I asked for at least the adoption fee to be refunded and the shelter has refused. And after I returned them and followed up I was told they checked them and they didn't have ringworm. So now they will flip the kittens, get double the adoption fees And most likely subject someone else to this sad experience since the kittens do have ringworm (confirmed by two different vets via lab test) Nobody needs this and especially depressing with all the COVID stuff going on. Just makes it way worse. What I wish at a bare minimum is the adoption fee returned, better would be ringworm free sweet kittens and the shelter and petsmart to educate the public about the risks of ringworm. read more

I took grooming services for my 4 month old Maltese pup. They shaved him down completely. My poor puppy was left without coat in winter. He won't go outside anymore. He was visibly tormented once we got him out. They didn't clean the hair near his eye or his nose which could have actually helped him. The last time we went to petco on 85th st in Kirkland and they had gone above and beyond cleaning him. Waste of money! read more

This review is for the doggie day camp. great service for an affordable price. All the people that work there are always interacting kindly to the dogs and giving them love. All the staff know my dog and get excited to see her now and she gets SO excited when we even pull into the parking lot. I hardly ever get a "pawgress" report but i think that's fair considering how busy they are and how much cheaper this place is compared to others. Overall they are super accommodating and do a great job. read more

I have taken my dog there for a grooming session three times now, and was always very happy- both with Heather and Bri. My dog was shedding really bad and they gave her the special Furminator treatment and she came out happy and beautiful. My dog is a very anxious dog and is very scared of noisy blowdryers and showers. The staff handled her with sensitivity and care, and for that I am thankful. Horrible place, horrible customer service. Told me my pet was unfit to stay at there location because he is old, the girl never told me they cancelled my reservation and was completely rude. After getting a new puppy. I decided to get him check out right away at the vet clinic Banfield that is conveniently located inside pet smart. After going to Banfield I decided to look around and see if there were any new toys, a bed and a collar. Petsmart had everything that I needed for my puppy. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They helped me figure out what bed would be good for my growing dog. They even talked to me about collars that would help prevent him from pulling. I decided to go with the harness. The checkout person also talked to me about the Puppy guide packet.. The packet has a lot of coupons and savings. It made my overall purchase a lot cheaper. I have used their day camp service 1 to 2 times a week for a few months and it has not been very convenient. Often times when arriving or picking up we have to wait 15-20 minutes just to check in, usually because they only have a single person working the front (even during busy peak times) OR because the front desk is empty and you have to wait for someone to randomly see you out there and come out from the back. Additionally they kennel your pet before 9am & after 5pm, which isn't a huge deal. BUT if you plan to use them anytime around ANY holiday/long weekend you run the risk of not being able to use their service except 9-5 since they will have overnight boarding taking up 100% of the kennels... WHY can't they just leave your pet in the big room before 9 or after 5,,, who knows, likely some corp. policy that the worker bees have no common sense to challenge. 9-5 sounds ok unless you use them for your in office days, once you factor in the 15-20 min check in, drive times etc. you don't really have enough time to go to work... not very helpful for a daycare! All in all the people are nice and my dog has fun, but randomly not being able to go into the office because they are "full" & having to constantly spend 15-20 minutes on a check in process that should take 30 seconds is a deal breaker. I was able to secure a spot with Dogtopia, they value your pet and are super convenient. read more

Most ridiculous pet store! I booked the grooming appointment online with the PetSmart. Com Grooming appointment system. When I took my cat in by Uber, the staff in grooming told me I scheduled the other store in Bellevue, they had no record of my appointment (and I actually had the printed receipt with me, with also had the name of the staff that supposed to do the grooming!) I called the other PetSmart store in Bellevue, and confirmed that I DID NOT book the wrong store. And they DO have that staff on my checkout receipt in the very same store that I took my cat in today! The store manager told me they have NO CONTROL over the online booking system and there's no communication between store and the online booking ( which then denied by the customer service) What a TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! read more

My dog Genji & Momo is midium size poodle mix and loves Melissa. She is always very professional and friendly. My dogs scared grooming before but now they like to give her kisses. Employees were nice but very disorganized. My daughter picked up my dog and they forgot to give back the food and blanket. I went back immediately for the food as I needed it to feed that night. Thought the blanket was with my daughter. Nope, had to search for the receipt to find the phone number of the store as it was not listed on the Web site. I did not receive a phone call to to apologize or say they had my things. I had to search them out. Was this the first time, this happened No. Last time (different pet smart) lost the food, even though I asked when my dog was picked up. Bottom line, if this Kennel is used, keep your receipt for phone number,only bring enough food for animal to consume while there and bring no personal items. read more

I started coming to this location in March when I moved to Seattle. My company had me in temporary housing down the street from this location, so for that month I figured it would be easiest to use their doggy day care - always assuming that I would find a place in Seattle once I moved. Well, it's been 3 months since I moved and I still take my dog here on a regular basis. Whether it's during work for 7am-9pm doggy day care (unheard of timeframes for the cost!) or overnight - these guys are the best. My dog is always happy and worn out when he comes home. They are very nice, helpful, and make me feel comfortable to leave my dog there. It's worth the inconvenience of driving all the way from CapHill to use their services! read more

We've been taking our dog to doggie day camp 3 times per week for months and boarding her at petsmart pet hotel every time we go out of town. We get coupons from petsmart directly every time we use our phone number in their system. The coupons we receive are in direct correlation to the amount of money we spend. We spend $1200-1500 per month between pet supplies, doggie day care and boarding at this particular Petsmart. Today we came to pick up our dog from the pet hotel after being gone for a week and we presented these coupons for our EARNED Deductions. The girl at the counter tells us that we can only use one coupon for our visit, but applies 4 coupons. of them as the coupon says 1 valid per transaction. I explained to her that then so that we can use our coupons to the fullest, they should ring up every day individually. Doesn't seem like a whole lot to ask for a loyal customer. She says no and also says her manager Brandon has been doing this incorrectly and giving people discounts that they shouldn't be getting. I ask for the store manager so I can express my concerns. Sadly, Maggie, the store manager was extremely rude and clearly had no customer service skills. She came up to the counter top where I was standing, did not introduce herself and abruptly stated she will only honoring a small percentage of the coupons. She was abrasive and I was absolutely taken aback by the overall lack of customer service we received during this process. Here's a thought: YOUR POLICIES NEED CORRECTING, THIS NOT THE CONSUMER'S FAULT IF YOUR POLICIES ARE NOT CLEAR AND ARE NOT BEING DISSEMINATED INCORRECTLY TO YOUR STAFF. DON'T PUNISH THE CUSTOMER, WE ARE SIMPLY LOOKING FOR THE BEST PRICE AND DISCOUNTS SAME AS ANYONE ELSE WOULD. Customers should always receive polite service, especially when your policies are not totally clear. We were extremely disappointed by this experience and it has left a bad taste in our mouth ever since. read more

I have taken my dog to doggy daycare since she was old enough to go. Which was basically when they first opened. I have to say the staff is always friendly and really happy to see my dog. Took my dog here to get groomed multiple times. They have never said anything about my dog misbehaving. Actually every time I come to pick up my dog they say "he was so good!" then I schedule another appointment and they call and tell me the person who usually grooms my dog is no longer working there and she put notes that he had stress levels and does not recommend grooming the dog and the other groomers are not comfortable with grooming him. I have a 10 pound havenese who is at times wiggly but as a groomer shouldn't you know how to handle it?! They referred me to the location downtown which is "more experienced" So my question is if the groomer was not comfortable with handling my dog why did they take the appointments over and over and over again?! Are you guys not hiring experienced groomers? I have not rescheduled my appointment at the downtown location with more "experienced groomers" and have decided to take my dog else where. read more

I am first time dog owner. I have to say so far I have had such wonderful experience no matter when I shopped for my puppy or took her to visit the vet etc. until I took my puppy for her first bath. The grooming center at this PetSmart is right next to my Vet's office. My puppy has not feeling well about two weeks ago. The vet has given her some medication. Today I took her for the following up exam. The Vet has cleared her for whatever problem she has been having. So I think it will be nice for her to have a bath. First, the young lady there even did not bother to get off from her computer, which is located pretty far from the office front, while talking to us; Second, she said your puppy was sick so she could not take her. Then I told the young lady that the Vet had cleared her. She said the store sale staff told her that the puppy stool was soft (The puppy had a go while we were shopping and my son and mother-in-law helped cleaning up). The Vet said that it was normal for my puppy to have soft stool for a while since she was sick. The young lady still insisted that we had to take the puppy back 24 hours later. It did not make a whole lot sense. On top of that, she started getting very impatient while I was trying to explain the situation. She acted like I was owed her million dollars!!! First time I have encountered someone who was in a pet associated business showed such little affection toward a pet! I told my vet what had happened. He offered to explain the situation to the grooming center. By then, I had no interest what so ever to send my dog there. A sale person's words weighed more than a vet's diagnose, first time ever heard! They lost my business forever! read more
