There's rude, immature employee's that work here. Unprofessional. Other than that it's a clean, nicely stocked store.

Horrible customer service experience today. We were standing in line for a couple of minutes.... register #2 A bit before 2:00 pm. Cashier tells she's closed. We go to register #1 and as we are waiting... #2 opened back up and took the folks behind us...., left that $30 purchase right there... dog treats and a Kong toy. Worked out better..., went to the new Tractor Supply down the road.. much cheaper for Science Diet... ($6.00) on the small bag! Better service to boot! read more

I scheduled my appointment at 11am for our Dutch shepherd. We arrived early to make sure they would begin service. The employee that checked us in told us she would be ready in 2 hours. It was after 1 and we still hadn't heard from them. We went back and arrived at 130 and they hadn't even started on her. So for over 2 hours they had her waiting. They basically started service after 130 and gave her to us at 210. She was still wet. They could have given us a call to let us know if there was going to be a delay or something. Very dissapointed. read more

There is this young lady here named Mysty. Every time I am looking for something she always seems to have an answer. Very professional. Highly would recommend this Pet Smart for this employee read more

I have a German Shepard and when I took him in they over cut his nails so he bleed so much and I also have a wired haired tarrier and they cut his ear..... overall go somewhere else for grooming this place is terrible read more

Store had good markdowns but as for grooming for cats, I wouldn't recommend the price of 60 dollars for an unfinished shave. My cat became hostile towards the groomer after nicking too close to the skin. Thankfully the knots on his back are gone but left with uneven hair and a couple bald spots. I will not be returning to this store for any grooming services anymore read more

PetSmart - Petsmart grooming results - Pet Training Near Me - Apple Valley, California

I'm s asome I love all the animals there and love the ball pythons and it is great for fish mood and much more I love that place

When it comes to pet stores you have to have a wide variety on stock, knowledgeable staff, clean environment and care about animals. As many of you may know by reading my reviews I am a father of five but what you probably didn't know is I have two dogs, three cats, one snake and five fish tanks! So value really has to be there. I can say without a doubt you can find really good deals here. Not to mention they always have stuff on their clearance rack. There are always deals on fishes. Downsides are their everyday prices are kind of a little on the higher end and sometimes the associates can be a little hard to find but go up to the register and they will call someone to help you! read more

PetSmart - I want bad! - Pet Training Near Me - Apple Valley, California

Best place to adopt a cat!! We adopted both our cats here and Diane (I think that is her name) is so nice and friendly. All the cats/kittens come from shelters around the high desert. The store staff is really helpful in finding things around the store. It gets busy but the employees are always helpful. They do have dog training and the store can be busy on the weekend mornings due to this but it doesn't distract from your shopping. They have pet grooming and a Banfield Pet Hospital both of which we haven't had to use yet but will when the time comes. read more

Worse experience ever. I took my for baby to get a hair cut and was declined because he has too many knots. He has 2 knots and they are not even close to the skin. One of the girls there said she could do it with no problem but the first person said "I already told her NO!" It was so sad and I won't ever recommend this experience to anyone. read more

Took my puppy to get a trim n she is completely terrified when I received her back from them. She is completely cut when I asked for a simple trim. I was baffled on how they left her. Will never take her there ever again! The worst feeling to know when you put your trust in a store to take care of your precious baby, they ruin all hair cut experiences from now on. read more

I hate to have to do this, but the last two times I've been there have been very disappointing. I was there Tues. for crickets and waited 35 minutes for an associate. Also, the first thing that hit me when I walked in the door was the aroma of cat urine. Today I went to purchase a Betta Fish. There were 6 dead Bettas in their little containers on display. I took them to the cash register and no one cared. I know that things die, but that was a bit excessive and it was obvious that they had been dead for quite a while. No animal, not even a Betta fish deserves to be left to suffer, die and rot. Come on Apple Valley Petsmart, do better. I know you can. read more

petsmart does not groom cats ! i needed to make plans to have my two cars . front claws trimmed...the groomer said :" we dont groom cats here", i asked again ?just to trim claws?". and was told , "we don't groom cats here " no offer to refer or anything .. i am really disappointed , and she was without any politeness !! read more

Never had a problem with the groomers until I last took my dog two days before Christmas. It's understandable that they might have been busy days before Christmas but that is not on excuse for treating our pets bad. My dog came home very aggressive and scared that someone would hit him. My dog is one of the most loving dogs you can ever meet, always hyper and wanting to play with everyone. My mom also took her dog there the same day and her dog came home depressed and scared. My wife also witnessed one of the groomers treating one of the dogs very bad and making it cry with no remorse. I've taken my dogs multiple times before and never had a problem but after this last visit I will never take my dog there again. read more

Ok so the only reason I'm even giving them 2 stars is because as far as dog and cat stuff they're good . But I'm absolutely disgusted in how they keep some of their reptiles. Chameleons are difficult animals to care for to begin with and you'd expect a store that sells them to have the proper set up. They keep them in a overly humid (extremely small ) glass enclosure which is a sure was for them to get a respiratory infection .. not to mention they had a bowl of water ... chameleons don't drink water like that they drink dew from plants or running water so unless they're misting the cage 4 times a day I'm sure that lizard is not healthy... to top it off when I simply went to mention it to one of the workers they automatically got defensive. I won't shop here for any reptile related products read more

I am very disappointed at this place, i waste hundreds of dollars in this store monthly but i will no longer be shopping here . Today me and my family went to buy a few items for our pets and my boys went to buy fish. While my kids were looking at the fishes Jannette asked if they had any questions and my kids said no and before she walked away she told them to press the button for assistance when they were ready , they pushed the button for assistance once they were ready. Then janette came back and instead of helping my kids she went straight to help out another lady that had just gotten there , i seen that my kids were taking long and i went to go see what was going on and my boys told me what had happened and i told them we should just go to another store, which she told my son well she was here first and my son asked her how was she here first if no one else was here when we pressed the button for assistance? Then janette called my son a jerk and of course no one calls my children names so i asked her why she called my son a jerk and she said o no we were talking about someone from work ( why in the hell were they talking about work if you have a line?) so yes i called her a bitch and a lot more. So i talked to another worker that was there which witnessed them pressing the button but at that time she was busy helping someone else but once she was done helping out her client she walked away when she could've helped my boys but of course she had to cover for her friend and said that she actually turned of the assistance button (for what reason? Who knows) then my son said he heard Jannette telling the customer that she was going to make sure they get us out of the store. Now this is not the first time Jannette gives us or other customers attitude. Every time we go she has a confrontation with someone because of her shitty attitude!!! I am so surprised she is still working there. You guys just lost a valuable customer i will be shopping at petco from now or at global aquatics read more

Another Female Store manager called back shortly after my complaint and rectify the issue. I was able to return the pet barrier for a store credit. which i am pleased with . So i have increased my star rating because of her customer service. Thank You ! read more

Terrible store . Do not use their Banfield...very rude and give you wrong pick up times. Had me waiting all day for a 1 hour procedure. Gave me an attitude when I picked my dog up. Will never go back here again../I now use the Banfields in Rancho Cucamonga for all my pets needs. read more

On Monday, September 26, 2022, I took my Dachshund Chihuahua Mix to Petsmart for grooming. My dog got the Top Dog Plus groom that included upgraded shampoo, conditioner, teeth brushing, scented cologne, etc. I also asked to cut the nails. It's been a week and a half since I took my dog to get groomed and noticed that they didn't shave the hair from the paw pads. I gave a call to the grooming department and luckily I was able to talk to the person who groomed my dog. When I was talking to the groomer I wanted to see what the Top Dog Plus package included and why my dogs paw pads were not shaved out as I thought it was part of the package. The groomer stated, "Our grooming location is instructed to not shave Dachshund paw pads unless it is instructed by the owner to get the paw pads shaved." I told the groomer that I have taken my Dachshund mix to other Petsmart locations and I have NEVER instructed a groomer on what they can or cannot do to my dog because I know they will clean up the paw pads. The groomer asked if I would like a side note upon cleaning the paw pads for future grooms with my Dachshund and I said, no because Petsmart groomers know to clean up the paw pads but I will remind the Apple Valley location because I guess they need to be told what to do. read more

Very disappointed went this evening to get products for my dog. I ask 5 different employees for help. Not one of them helped me. All of the told me to look in the dog section and walked away. I tried even asking the cashier that was a waste of time. She too was rude and clueless. Will not be returning or refer anyone to this location. read more

Let me start by saying I'd give this place zero stars if it was possible. The associates there aren't really helpful. It took 25 minutes and three asks for help to get nothing more than a face full of attitude from Elizabeth and this other white bitch (I'm white too! No racism here) telling us that two IDENTICAL boxes, one that was done being unpacked, and the other specifically to sell for pets; giving attitude the whole time, told us how the one that's being sent to the trash "isn't safe" for the cat to just be transported out of the store to the car; but yet the SAME box for 12$ is perfectly safe. sorry but go FUCK YOURSELF, find a real job that you don't hate, and maybe learn to be customer service oriented. Never going back! read more

So far this is the worst PetSmart ever I recommend petco or a local reptile store. This is my first time ever owning any type of reptile but I purchased a bearded dragon specifically. Long story short the lizard was sick again this is my first time owning one so i couldn't tell a healthy lizard from a unhealthy lizard. It didn't occur to me until today I went to purchase another one read more

This story is really friendly. Some of the employees are slightly clueless, but they're always friendly. Better than Petco, where the employees make it clear that they don't want to be there. Assistant manager Diane is always cheerful and remembers my dogs' names. read more

I like this location. It's a bit bigger than the one n Victorville, or so it seems to me, and the staff has an air of crisp professionalism. That's a good thing, but to be honest, I prefer the more laid-back, you're-my-buddy atmosphere found in Victorville. That isn't to say I'm unhappy when life dictates that I go here instead! I am always greeted with a smile and plenty of help in finding things I'm unfamiliar with ("Just which filter pad does this thing take, anyway?"). read more

Worst PetSmart I have ever done business with. When you ask for some assistance it takes 30 minutes to even get an associate to show up. Then they give you an attitude as if you're wasting their time. Several dead fish floating in the tanks, and the reptiles look sick and under fed. I will be taking my business to other pet stores and the new tractor supply store where prices are cheaper and much friendlier experiences read more

Came here for grooming for my parents' 40+ lb dog who has never been to a groomer before and as a rescue she has severe anxiety. I myself had anxiety thinking about how everything would go when I took her in since some of the other reviews here weren't super promising. But I figured I would be with her and at least outside if anything went wrong. She's a very difficult dog and hates water and hates drills and the like. I was very lucky to have Summer groom Sweetie. She had just a bath and the nail grind. Sweetie was very anxious when she came in and I was very worried about her lashing out at Summer or the team but after an hour she was done and Summer didn't make me feel bad or seem annoyed by Sweetie's behavior and Sweetie even seemed to have warmed up to her which is hard for her to do. She smells great and her nails are rounded perfectly for her to play with my other dog safely. Would highly recommend Summer, and also want to note that she has a calm voice with dogs as to not scare them. Thank you! read more

I have been taking my little pooch Otis to training at this location and we have been loving it! Brandy is an amazing trainer and Otis loves her! We are moving on to the third course and will definitely continue training after that because of how great she is! read more

I took my large german Shepard mixes here and when i got my dogs home i noticed one of them had a HUGE gash on his back, i pay close attention to my pets, they are my babies! and he didn't have this before he left. On top of this incident all the groomers there act like they HATE their lives, they are rude, dry and don't seem to care....i mean these arnt just pets these are peoples children (families) if i could give them a negative star i would. I have not had any other problems with the store employees themselves, the floor associates are very friendly. read more

The Grooming staff is great! I lost my regular private groomer and had anxiety about a corporate groomer. The truth is they have strict policies and I actually like that. My Maltese has a very chic hair cut so I just had to be very specific and try a few groomers. Find one you like and stick with them. I love the hours of availability it works better for the last minute bath/grooming needs. read more

I scheduled an appt for my dog n asked the lady for my 4 month old puppy to get a hair cut she didn't explain she was too small for a full cut so when I went inside the day of, another lady explained she didn't recommend a full hair cut due to her puppy hair so I just asked for a small trim after trying to explain this and being interrupted twice she kept insisting a wash n and nail cut. I didn't want to keep going back n fourth with her so I said that's fine. I come back with my dog shaved and her hair fully cut n to find out it would cost me $51 for my puppy that's about 5 pounds $51 for a full cut when I wasn't explained the price in the beginning. As a business I really would consider the staff some customer training for the customers to fully know pricing before you take their babies in to ensure them what they are going to do to them.I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Don't go to Clarissa. read more

5 stars to Banfield Pet hospital inside. Been with them, and their insurance program for 5+ years. Great vet care and its nationwide.

This PetSmart location has super helpful employees always willing to help you find an item. Also, I can't lift over 25 pounds and there's always someone there to lift the heavy items and take them to my car. I appreciate how clean the store is. read more

Bad Business PetSmart. So your doors are open you have plenty of staff their stocking your grooming salon is open but your registers don't open until 9 a.m.? You just lost my sales. I'm A working woman on tight schedule I've utilize your grooming services in the past I know your doors are open at this hour. So I attempted to purchase Goods in your store on my way to work. You've wasted my time I stopped and didn't get the goods so guess what I'm buying my goods elsewhere read more

My favorite location! They're consistently helpful and friendly. Every time we go in Eric is incredibly eager to help us.

I would like to thank Leslie, my groomer. I have taken my dogs to be groomed several times and Leslie has taken care of both of them each time. I still wonder what she does to grind my Dobi's nails cause he won't sit still for me long enough to touch them. Both of my dogs are rescue dogs and my Dobi was abused by his previous owner so he doesn't trust very easily but he runs right to Leslie when we take him in there. As long as Leslie is there I will continue to take my big boys in to see her. read more

I would not recommend anyone to go to Petsmart and Jess Ranch the groomer Tiffany is no good she did something to my dog because when I picked her up she was so scared my dog jumped out the top kennel trying to get away from her I will never ever go back there again my regular Michelle she left so I had to go with someone who never do that again and then she had the nerve to put a bad report in the computer about my dog Tiffany get zero stars for me so if anyone looking for a groomer do not take your dog to Tiffany at Petsmart off Bear Valley so just make sure you guys don't take your dog over here, do you have sex about everything someone called me and said can you bring your dog in early because I guess she got a cancellation phone is Austin I dropped her off thinking she was about to get cut I was waiting an hour and a half she never got closure Tiffany claims that she didn't have any cancellations hi sis someone,Call me and told me to bring mocha in early so she's terrible with dogs animals she did call my dog was scared as crap when I pick her up so don't take your dog at Petsmart on Bear Valley Are dogs are human too and that's what's wrong with people they think dogs are just dogs but they have feelings too and she was so afraid she was very happy to see me so I don't know what happened but like I said she will never go back there again just to give people warning if you go don't take her to Tiffany thank you are read more

Went to the store in Apple Valley Ca to purchase my daughter a crested gecko while at the store the service was horrible. No one was willing to help us get everything we needed to take care of our new pet so with my handy dandy smart phone and google we did the best we could. Well a week after having our little friend that my 9 year old daughter got for her birthday and is now extremely attached to he seems to be sick. So now that this animal is part of our family we are freaking out and want to make sure he is ok. My wife being the amazing women she is hurry's to our local petsmart in search of help and advice. When she arrives to the store she is lucky enough to run into the on site store manager. Perfect, my wife thinks she has the most knowledgeable person to help her well guess what wrong! The store manager automatically expresses that she has no clue about reptiles, now how is it that a store "manager" in charge of living animals has no clue? So with that being said I am at the conclusion that every reptile in this store is not properly cared for! Anyways back to our gecko (Stickers) he is at home suffering from Malnourishment which obviously started at our wonderful and oh so very professional "petsmart" that doesn't have a clue about reptiles! My wife comes home with 80$ of medicines thats supposedly going to make Stickers all better. We gave him the medicine as directed by our professional and very well "trained" manager and well guess what, poor stickers passed away about an hour after. So thank you petsmart for putting such highly trained and qualified or should I say worthless and incompetent individual into your stores so that you can bless families with heart ache and disappointment with the neglected animals that you sale. read more
