Frank Zavala was paid to groom two dogs, he shaved a german shepherd and didn't even touch the second dog. He told my elderly grandma who suffers from dementia and has cancer in her lung that he would be back in three days, that Sunday. The job was needing to be finished immediately since my grandfather was having surgery that month. We reached out daily for FIVE WEEKS. Frank Zavala ignored calls, texts, and Facebook messages. We requested at the very least, a partial refund. He then blocked us and has refused. He now has a police report open on him. Please do your research before using this scam artist. I love the way they groom my cocker spaniel. They are always great with him and he always looks and smells like a new dog. My cocker spaniel is old and grumpy but I've never had a problem with these groomers. They show up on time and get things done without any problems. I'm happy to know it is quick because I used to have to give up my entire day for my dog to have a trip to the groomer. The entire process is about an hour. They shave him and bathe him. He always looks good. It's not a rush looking job. My house is on a hill and that isn't a problem for them. They park in front and never complain that it's not convenient. Some companies wouldn't even try to come up my hill. I honestly appreciate the effort and the service. The best thing is that they come out even on short notice. read more

Frank was Highly recommended by the Rescue Owner that we got our Golden Retriever through, in fact she Specifically Requested that we Not call any other Groomer than Frank Zavala, Muddie Pawz Mobile Pet Spa, Owner. We felt better knowing someone with so much compassion for animals would insist on a specific person & Company to take care of any furbaby!! That brought us the peace of mind we needed in order to have our furbabies groomed. It is Super to be able to have Muddie Pawz come to us!! I don't have to load them up & drive them over to a Groomer, especially with one of them getting car sick every time he's in the car! It's nice to have them onsite, right here at our home, the home our furbabies are Most comfortable with. Frank & his crew are So good with our furbabies & do a great job on them! And when they're done, Frank knows we Love that yummy smelling stuff they put on them when they're finished grooming them, right before they bring them up to our front door to let us know they're done! He's Extremely competitive in his prices so it makes it nice to have a little more to add on as a tip for a job well done! I really can't rate Frank on his grooming because he never made it to the appointments that he set up. Our first appointment he called and said his helper didn't show up. That was fine and I asked to reschedule. It took several days for him to finally text a new appointment to me. On the day of that appointment I never heard from him. He just didn't show up. A week later he texted that he was running late. I told him that our appointment was for the previous Thursday at 9am. He never answered. Very unprofessional and unreliable! read more

Love how they came to my home in the HD. I was nervous to have someone work on my dog since he is an dog plus a rescue dog I only had for a few months now. The two men were so sweet and gentle with my sweet Richie. They worked on him for almost 3 hours just pampering him. Richie had an issue with dry skin but it stopped after the last visit. I live in an senior community in Hesperia. So I take Bosco a Shih Tzu to see Frank. Frank did such a good job on Bosco. He gave Bosco a bath, did his nails and cut his hair. Trimmed the hair between his paws. Bosco was a tangled mess. Frank took his time and got the tangles out. We will be back in 2 or 3 months for a summer cut. Thank you for all you do. read more

I have used other groomers and they get the job done but I have never been as happy as I am with Muddie Pawz. He gave all three of my dogs (two Great Danes and a shepherd mix) a bath and one a cut. Frank was professional and patient with my Great Dane who has anxiety around new people. She came back more relaxed then I have ever seen her and clean. We had Frank shave our little dog and he did a fantastic job; keeping her hair low maintenance for us until her next grooming appointment. read more

I contacted this service and they told me they will be here to groom my dog Tuesday between 12pm-3pm. We waited. At 3:10pm I messaged this person and she/he only said we need to rescheule, my air is out. No explanation whatsoever. So I told her/him sarcastically, thanks for letting me know ahead of time. No response. The following day she/he messaged me apologizing for not explaining for rescheduling my appt. He stated his AC went out and she couldn't work with no AC. Understandable I thought. So then she asked if she can reschedule me and that he/she would make me priority. So we agreed again for today. Since she was supper busy we didn't set on a specific time. He/she asked for a phone number so she can call ahead of time before she came over. Till now I have not gotten a message from this person. Doesn't answer my calls or messages. I will not use this service again. This person made me wait instead of letting me know he wasn't going to make it so I could of taken my dog to get groom somewhere else. I explained that my dog really needed grooming since he's an outside dog and the heat is miserable. Such lack of profesdionalism, lack of customer service and overall not caring after all the preaching on Facebook how much he/she cares for animals. Extremely dissapointed. I've been using muddie pawz pet grooming for a couple of years now and I've been happy with them this whole time. The crew is very professional and they do an amazing job with my dogs. Their gentle with them and my dogs are always so happy to see them when they pull up in my yard. Anytime I need to schedule an appointment they are able to get me right in. Muddie Pawz is excellent with all breeds of animals. Frank is extremely professional and courteous. My fur babies only go with those to who love and have patience with them. He goes above and beyond and will not take Payment until you are satisfied with his work. He takes his time with each and every Pet to ensure they are given the time and care they need. Sometimes animals have bad days just as people so there are times when he may be a little late due to that. However, I have used other mobile groomers and was not anywhere close to being impressed with their work or their work ethic. Very unprofessional. I originally tried to set up an appointment and I was told the number had changed. We set up a date, time and amount. I was told he would call 30 mins before he was to arrive. Knowing that he may have had a client before me take longer I waited an hour after our time we agreed on. I called and it rang 3 times before going to voicemail. I text several times asking if we should reschedule or if he was late and no response. I called again and it rang 2 times before sending me to voice mail. 4 hours of me trying and them not responding until I stated they were unprofessional and I was going to leave a review. Frank texted me right away stating he tried to text but when I showed him a screen shot of my phone he stated he had a new phone and that sometimes it happens. He never suggested A new time or date just stated he answers his phone only if he hears it. If he knew he had an appointment then he should have been around his phone. Very unprofessional and I know his phone worked because he was promoting his business on social media all day and during the time I was trying to contact him. read more
