I was recommended Pets at Peace by a friend who used them to put her dog to rest. When the sad time came for me to make that decision, I compared Pets at Peace with other home euthanasia services, and found them to be the most reasonable. And, scheduling online made it very easy to do without having to call and talk to someone during this very emotional time. I ended up having to call Dr. Tiffany after all to ask if we could move the appointment up any earlier, and left a message which she returned fairly soon after. She was extremely kind and empathetic on the phone. Unfortunately, my dog took a turn for the worst in the middle of the night, and had to be taken to an emergency vet to be put to rest instead, it could not wait until the morning. Dr. Tiffany called about two hours before my scheduled appointment the next day to prep me, and I explained the situation to her. Once again, she was extremely caring and understanding. Her voice was soothing and she seemed genuinely sorry things had gone as they did. She told me she would refund my money (as you must pay when you book online), and cancel my appointment. I was nervous about getting the $450 refund, but within an hour or so, PayPal showed my refund had come through as was processing. What a relief. I will NOT hesitate to use her in the future with other pets. I highly recommend her. read more

I recently found large lumps in my dogs neck and later discovered it was Lymphoma cancer. At 11.5 years old, I knew my Afghan Hound would not have a good prognosis and had to make the hard decision to put him down. It's never easy to say goodbye to a furry family member, in fact it's one of the worst things. That being said I have had Dr. Tiffany help me with my last 2 cats and getting them to the other side and she made the process so much easier. I'm still mourning the loss of Rollie, but the fact that he was able to be at home with us made it so much more palatable. Plus Dr. Tiffany is incredibly caring and empathetic which makes the process that much better. I also believe that it has been helpful for my other pets to be there when this process happens. In the past I feel like the other guys would be looking for them for weeks, they still mourn, but I think this makes it easier for them to understand. When it was time for him to leave us she was so amazing, she made everything so calm and put him on a stretcher just like he was being tucked into bed with a paw print blanket . He looked like a sleeping angel. As hard as the whole situation was I can not recommend Dr. Tiffany Boisjolie with pets at peace enough if you are having to make such a hard decision for your furbaby. Not to mention she came after hours SAME day so he did not have to suffer through the night and she was still cheaper than all the other in home/mobile vets, in which also included the whole package of independent cremation, terracotta paw print etc. We were able to receive his remains promt and in such a beautiful set up. Dr. Tiffany was just as kind and patient as could be, and we are grateful that we found her when the dreaded day came to put my best friend and constant companion, Max the Great Dane, to sleep. Last Sunday our sweet 9 year old Golden Retriever took a dramatic downturn in her brave fight against stage 3 soft tissue sarcoma cancer. Amazingly, Dr. Tiffany and her assistant just happened to be available, and showed up at our front door 30 minutes after calling them! It was like two angels had arrived. They were so compassionate, caring and kind. With tears in our eyes, we watched as they very gently and professionally put our beloved Brandy to sleep.
