I took my 14 month old yellow Lab, Lucy (a leader dog in training) to Peticured at Premier Pet Supply in Beverly Hills this afternoon. Lucy has had a couple bad experiences with nail trimmings (one was my fault) and is terrified to have her feet worked on. My daughter recommended Peticured to me as she takes her Great Dane there regularly to have his nails trimmed. Glenn took great care and time with Lucy, getting to know her and making her comfortable in the environment. He talked to her during the entire time of trimming her nails. She even yawned at one point, which showed me how relaxed and comfortable she was with him. Thank you for the great experience. They come to a pet store in my neighborhood twice/month. NO ONE could trim my dog's nails until this guy. I had my doubts about the whole thing, but he talks my dog through it, talking to him exactly how I do, and he takes breaks for Clay when Clay gets too excited and overwhelmed. I have a few special needs dogs and one in particular that had a horrible experience at the vet for a nail trim (apparently it took 4 techs to hold him down and when he was returned to me, his abdomen was bruised). Glenn listened to my concerns, took his time making sure my dogs felt safe and comfortable and spoke so sweetly to them!
