I have dealt with Petes rv for 2 rv deals. They have been great to work with. Last one was a 32 foot class C. great price, great service.

I purchased my 2020 Coachmen Apex Nano (new) from Chesapeake RV Solutions. I also purchased an…read moreadditional $1500 insurance package. After using the camper for six months, I brought it back for a few repairs. My plumbing had seven minor leaks - all documented with photos and Tupperware containers full of water. When I dropped the camper off I asked if I could use hose clamps should the plumbing develop any future leaks. The manager openly laughed at me and told me that it was a "ridiculous question" and a stupid solution. They then supposedly did a pressure test and told me they couldn't find a single leak. When I later crawled in back and looked at my plumbing I discovered: 1) That they had used two hose clamps where I had marked leaks. 2) That all 7 spots were still leaking. My awning motor always stopped when the awning was still 18" out. They told me they had replaced the motor. The "new" motor stopped when the awning was 18" out. My water pump stopped pumping water when the tank was still 1/3 full. One of their employees rapped his knuckles on the tank, smirked, and said, "It's empty, lady". He then grabbed a hose and filled it. The next time the pump ran endlessly I manually drained the remaining water. The 50-gallon tank still had 22 gallons in it. The water pump failed completely two months later. I asked them to show me how to manually retract the bump out in case I ever had an electrical failure. They said, "You should have asked that when you first bought the camper." I apologized and asked them to show me anyway. They said, "Look it up on the internet." I said I hadn't been able to find anything online and asked for a URL. They refused to give me one. Turns out there is no way to manually retract the bump out on this model camper. My insurance contract said there was a $50 fee if I brought the camper back to the place that sold it to me. They tried to charge me $200. When I pointed out the clause in the contract, they tried to charge me $100. They also charged me a $150 "inspection" fee. Most of all, they were incredibly rude and demeaning. This was right at the end of the pandemic and they had a lot of camper sales and repair jobs. When I called them to schedule an appointment for the repair they gave me a date over three months away and made it clear that they were doing me a huge favor not making me wait six months. Do not purchase a camper from Chesapeake RV Solutions!

When your relatively new (3yr old) lawn mower won't start and you've tried everything to get it…read morerunning, it's beyond frustrating. We don't know very many people in Virginia, so we didn't know where to turn, who to trust, recommendations, etc., so I sent out a repair request on Yelp. After giving a brief synopsis of the problem, my request was sent to multiple businesses. Miller's Garage was the first to respond. Joshua provided me with all the details I asked for. We received another response from a different business 2 days later. Due to Joshua's timely communication and honestly answering our questions, we decided to take it to him. He wasn't home but, we were able to drop off the lawn mower in a secure spot, while in constant communication with him. Just as he said, true to his word, he fixed our mower in a very timely manner (a few days), while giving an update AND at the price he quoted. No surprises, which is amazing nowadays. We picked up our mower and Joshua explained/demonstrated what he fixed, then he helped load it into our car. We appreciate that being as we're older. and went Upon arrival, we put it to the test. It was like a BRAND New mover again! Yay! Lawn is looking sharp again! Joshua at Miller's Garage is an honest guy that does exceptional work for a fair, reasonable price. He even gave tips on how to winterize it and keep it running for the long haul. I highly recommend Miller's Garage and if we ever have another problem, we will be calling Joshua to fix it.

He seemed to figure out what was wrong pretty quickly & said it should be quick repairs (it was almost a month, I think). He said some wrong parts came in & he had to reorder. Then, we had a lot of rain and some flooding. He works from his back yard & said his flooding was bad. Well, at least one of my mowers must have sat in a flooded area because the 2nd man I paid to fix it said the carburetor was all gunked up; It also needed a new air filter. It worked for about 5 minutes after he brought it back & it quit working. The rider lasted for one mowing. Josh said he's a veteran. Well, my 92 yer-old dad is a veteran too & his riding mower didn't get repaired. Josh Miller didn't respond to messages by text, email or phone. It's so sad to give people your trust & then be treated like poop. Very unprofessional too.

Well I know my previous review was a little close to this but I have to explain why. I purchased my…read moreunit prior to the interest rates getting all crazy. Drew and Jen were upfront with me regarding those interest rates and b/c of that, I bought the unit earlier than expected... however, I did save myself from 3 or 4 (rate hikes since then). However, b/c I bought it so much earlier than expected, I didn't have a place to put it. Dodd RV stored my unit for me and took care of it during the 'winter blast' and kept me in the loop of any needs, issues, and answered a barrage of questions I had (and still continue to have). Jen (Wiseman) is legit. She's the logistics and friendly smile that keeps customers coming back when issues arise. I can't imagine the in/out, fix this and that 'stuff' that she has to go through on the daily. I now have my Grand Design 265bh here at home and could not be happier with my purchase. Between the product service and quality on top of the regional support, I can confidently say I'm a "happy camper" (ha!). Oh yeah, and in several weeks there's a camper show in Virginia Beach hosted by.... Dodd!!!
