Quality rose bushes.
Owen D.

An absolutely excellent dinner from beginning to end, made even more remarkable by the fact that I managed to enjoy the entire evening without falling into a rose bush. Top notch service, cold beer, hot pizza. Keep them feet on the ground folks!

The delivery was a mess the food was dumped all over the bag. They weren't interested in a refund. Never ordering from them again.

Calamari & Santa Fe Salad

Maybe I picked the wrong food. I honestly stopped by just so I could see the Niners game. My appetite wasn't big to begin with so I thought why not a salad and some calamari. Calamari arrived first. I was surprised to see how big the portion was and realized immediately I wasn't gonna be able to finish it on my own. I was expecting the nice crispy calamari I usually have at any other place. Unfortunately it was on the softer side. I enjoyed their pineapple salad it had on the side much more. My salad was also not the best. I was recommended their Santa Fe salad. I forced myself to try and eat the salad but really just ended up nibbling it. I ended up just leaving the salad and taking calamari to go even though I really knew I wasn't going to eat it. Would definitely not recommend neither of those food options to anyone. Maybe in future I'll give it another try and try something else. Absolutely loved their staff however!

It's in the name -- brew house ---and frankly our overall experience at Pete's was well above expectations for a taphouse, in almost every way. The vibe was casual and warm but not rickety, with a nice full bar/lounge to one side and a big dining area to the other. Nice big TV screens in the bar, and a decent tap list along with interesting cocktails. We got friendly attentive, outstanding service from our waiter, all our questions answered, and our meals served up hot and fresh. The fries were nice and crispy, and my chicken/avocado sandwich came out well-stuffed with a nice slab of tender bird. A nice surprise all around. Plenty of parking too.

The food was very good, the service was quick and friendly, and the restaurant was clean.

STUFFED KNOTS

I've ordered to go from here a few times, and I get the steak flatbread every time. It's so flavorful and delicious! The steak is always cooked perfectly. I definitely recommend trying it if you've never had it. I also ordered the stuffed knots. They smell great and they taste alright. I don't think I'd order them again though.

COBB SALAD

Great recommendation by a friend who lives in Redding. Cobb salad and chicken was great. Right amount of fun and pricing was good. Will definitely order here again on my next work assignment.

Ouch

Husband fell into the rose bushes as we were going into the restaurant. He was a bloody mess...legs,arms, and mid section. We went in and ate as we were a group of 4. Manager apologizes when she saw what happened and said dinner was on the house after we ordered, that was nice. Dinner was not on the house. Rose bushes need to be trimmed way back, not a good choice of plant next to a walkway. Taking him to Doctor. Tried sending message thru website but Captcha doesnt work.

It was an okay place to stop, the place was busy so obviously it's popular but seemed clean, and our server was great. The food was certainly mid in my opinion, but the drinks were worth the stop.

Fish & Chips ordered through Grubhub, quite pathetic!

Located in the Placer Heights Plaza, next to Starbucks. Same plaza as Holiday Market and CVS Pharmacy. We were seated immediately as they were not busy. The menu was a bit different than online. Our server came to take our order. He didn't introduce himself and seemed like he didn't want to be there. We decided on the fried green tomatoes, fried chicken sandwich and catfish po' boy. When the po' boy came out, we thought it was burnt! We didn't know the catfish will be blackened by default. We thought it will be fried since it is a po' boy. The options can be blackened or fried based on the menu online. We were not given those options by our server. They brought out the food but didnt provide utensils until minutes later. Fried green tomatoes: It was good. Fried perfectly. The dressing that was tossed with the side salad was super salty. Catfish po' boy: Fish was tender but super salty as well. Fried chicken sandwich: Pretty good sandwich. Chicken was huge. The fries was so soggy, not crispy at all. Also very greasy. We were a bit disappointed as we drove out of our way to try this place. Nice ambiance though. I felt I was a bit underdressed lol

We chose Woody's because our little one wanted mac 'n cheese and they have some of the best in town! I cannot rave enough about the restaurant and how well they handled the party. The booking process was easy and completed via e-mail. This aspect was handy as I didn't have to leave the house or make a phone call on a busy day. The gentleman I spoke to answered all of my questions during the booking process. On the day of the party, we showed up a few minutes early to put up some decorations. A waitress and waiter came and greeted us right away. The owner even came by, promptly, and introduced himself to me. The kindess and professionalism was outstanding. Our waitress (I wish I remembered her name! I feel terribly that I can't provide it.) did an outstanding job! We were a big group of people and she took all of our orders, answered questions, and helped us with anything we needed. I hope it can be determined who worked that day so she can be given her kudos as she was lovely! Lastly, the kitchen staff did a great job getting our food out in a timely manner. I was impressed by their speed and the food was delicious. As the restaurant was busy, we didn't have a chance to say thank you one final time before we left. So, thank you again, Woody's! You guys made the party enjoyable and easy for us. We felt we could take a step back and enjoy our daughter's day! :)

I finally tried their banh mi today. It had a few "pickled" cukes and huge daikon strips…read more Unfortunately, it also had fajita style veggies on it, which is not normal, nor tasty. Or maybe they were the peppers/onions that go on the cheesesteak? We did a DoorDash for a work group and with all fees it was a $30 sandwich (menu price $23) but I trashed after 3 bites. I tried, because I do not like to waste, but I couldn't stomach that combo. The side salad was actually great so I ate that, but essentially, $30 for a side salad is no bueno.
