Very very good food. We were seated quickly. Our waitress was awesome I wish I could remember her name. Loved the spots on all the TV's. The cookie dessert I highly recommend !! read more

Awesome food, place was really busy but we got our food very fast. I got the Pete's Combo pizza and was one of the best pizzas I've ever had (coming from someone who's worked with pizza for 3 years) 10/10 would recommend if in the area. read more

We had the worst service. We asked so many times for sweetener and again for ketchup. Literally, our fries were cold after asking the fourth time. We didn't finish our dinner. Paid and left. Our waitress was more interested in spending her time at the larger tables than bother with us. She kept asking the larger table, who wanted the "snickers"?? And continued talking to them at length while we waited and We haven't had a date in a long time. We both work so hard. It broke my heart. I have worked food service and still do... I just couldn't be like that to anyone. So sad. We won't ever come back. I'm sorry. It was truly just upsetting read more

A nice spot to meet friends for food and drink. The food isn't anything too special, but our drinks were refreshing and the service was very attentive. The prime rib sandwich was pretty bland, but the sweet potato fries were delicious! The cocktail I had was new on the menu with Pineapple, Tequila and a hint of rosemary. It was really tasty! read more

Well ...food is good, actually food is awesome!! now service is a different thing ...they have plenty of people but they are talking among themselves ... we wanted another drink and no one ever came to ask us .. and we just closed out because the service is just not there .. also they have plenty of TVs but no one ever knows what's going on in the sports world ... there ... this place can easily be a 5 star if they get their service on point .. read more

It was a busy Friday night and we were seated right away and our waitress Heather took our drink orders while we waited for rest of our party. She is amazing friendly, funny and was on top of all our needs. As soon as our friends arrived she was right there to get their drink order. We ordered appetizers and things were brought out in amazing order appetizers then salads then entrees. You guys had 2 big birthday parties and all the staff never missed a beat and all were friendly and amazing. Heather is a real asset to your crew and I hope she gets a shoutout for her amazing service. The food was amazing as well I had the jalapeño burger hubby had Brewhouse burger and friends fish and chips and the chicken Gorgonzola pasta. We will definitely be back and recommend your establishment to everyone. Thank you for a great evening out. read more

I have had 2 out of 2 negative experiences with this restaurant my steak was horrible under sized and way over cooked the margaritas are served with 99% ice served in a regular glass. I would not recommend this place read more

Update on Pete's from Saturday, Management apologized and corrected their error in the receipt and reimbursed me my tip over charge. That takes class and a Manager being good at what she does, Thank You Cecilia. read more

I went to Pete's on New Year's Eve eve with a friend and her husband. They had ordered a seared ahi appetizer and shared. The fish was tender and served on a bed of spicy mango and red pepper salsa...super good with my dirty Absolut martini. Bar didn't have the goose, which I found odd, but enjoyed the drink nonetheless. The bar is nice, service was great, atmosphere a little noisy, the place was packed. We both had the salmon, served over pasta with a light lemon garlic parsley sauce. It was good and plenty. I ordered a glass of Chardonnay to go with my meal, and tried "Pete's" wine...surprisingly good...and I didn't feel ripped off like in some places. Really, should one glass of wine cost $18? Not at Pete's! Hubby had a green salad and burger with fries. Looked good, he was happy; meat and potatoes kinda guy, I think I'm going back with a friend next week. read more

Solid four stars. Great atmosphere with a nice open bar. Good beer selection, lots of TV's to watch the games, and good service. Excellent wings, especially the sweet and spicy. Check it out! read more

I've been here twice. The first time the food was barely passable and the soft drinks were plain awful. How hard is it to mess up a soda from a machine? When I mentioned it to the waiter, he looked at me like I was talking in a foreign language. Trying to find the waiter was a trick as well. These people pull a disappearing act as soon as you order. The second time I went I gave them my name, and they said it would be 25 minutes. Half an hour goes by waiting. When I asked them how much linger, they said my name was crossed off. So the food is mediocre, and the staff are horrible. read more

Was disappointed. Beer selection is good, wine is not.... Stay away from the house wine.... Ordered the Ahi appetizer and have to say that it must be frozen and not well thawed prior to cooking.... Parts of the seared appetizer were quite crusty while others were way over cooked. Diane had the sirloin salad and overall it was very acceptable.... However, it could be cut in half on the salad size and would be perfectly acceptable. The Twisted Knots were delightful and I would personally offer a variety of dipping sauces vs. just Ranch and Marinera. The in-house beers were acceptable and the bar was full service. We ate at the bar and our waitress/bartender was proficient but not overtly friendly at all. The overall vibe was locals looking for a drink and "fast" " general" food. Hate to say but really disappointing and nothing special here. read more

I couldn't wait for this place to open to give it a try. I felt bad they were delayed in opening due to the pandemic. We ordered about a week after they opened through door dash. Our order was missing 1 item. The food we did get was pretty good. We decided to give it another try a week later. This time we got a completely different order. Our name was on the tag, but it was someone else's phone number. I'm sure the person who ordered this was not very happy as it was a full rack of ribs and a steak. (our order was a small pizza and burger). I tried to give the restaurant a call and the number I called didn't even ring, it just said that a voice mail box had not been set up yet. Sadly, I don't think we will try a 3rd time. Very disappointed. read more

Food was yummy. And the lady was super nice. It was a little slow but worth the wait.

My boyfriend and I went here for a birthday. The service was fine, waitress was friendly. I got the steak flatbread. Tasty but each toasted slice had one tiny piece of steak. My boyfriends fish and chips, he said looked and tasted like he DoorDash it from Dairy Queen. Just tiny dark pieces, not flaky. Pretty pricy for what you get. Enjoyed the experience, but not really the food. read more

I dunno what people are complaining about but this place is good! I have gone many different times over the last few months and the food is great every time. They have a could of ciders on tap that are good and it's always jam packed. This is one of the better places I've found in Redding and their onion rings are awesome! Want a salad? Come here! Want a burger? come here! Want a flat bread? Yea they make that too!! read more

All I can say is fabulous!!!!! The food was delicious and hot. It was very busy and we waited Ken than 15 minutes for a table. The wait staff and the staff bussing the tables are amazing. So impressed. We will be going back very soon. read more

Went to Pete's for dinner, we usually enjoy this place. However as I cut into my garden vegetable flatbread a large bug walked out and landed on the table. Needless to say I was done eating. They asked if I wanted another one and I declined. They didn't charge me for it but didn't even offer to comp my husbands meal. Very poor!!!! We won't be back read more

Wow! What a fantastic experience our family of 6 had tonight! This was our first time of eating at Pete's and it was memorable! Our waitress April was friendly, attentive and competent providing excellent service. Everything we ordered was delicious. We had chicken wings, burgers, seafood pasta, ahi tuna, sweet potato fries, garlic fries, shrimp and more all of which was super yummy! Can't wait until we can return and try some more items off the menu. Great job Pete's Brewhouse staff! You're all amazing! read more

Friday afternoon I ordered clam chowder...honestly it should be called Potato Soup! I also had the buffalo chicken salad and the tiny bit of avacado was hard but the biggest disappointment was with the very small amount of chicken served. It was during lunch therefore kinda busy is probably why our empty water glasses weren't filled. My friend liked the hamburger. Wish they'd raise their prices a little that way perhaps they'd actually add more than a teaspoon of clams to the chowder and a toddler's portion of chicken to the salad read more

Came into this place with my girlfriend and her friends for one of their birthdays . The food was decent .not anything to write home about . I got the Pete's burger. Asked for medium rare and got well done . Not a big deal though . The waitress was really nice as was everyone else in the building but a few things to gripe on .Waitress got my drink order wrong and the fries where also cold . Also a little expensive for what it is .Over all a pretty average establishment just like any other chain place you will find . read more

Absolutely horrible!!! Took 2 hours to get food and 40 min for drinks! Hated our service!!! Never go here!

The only reason this gets a star is because the service we had was great!! The food is not so great! I know we live in Redding so I wasn't expecting fresh off the boat fish and chips! But what they served was disgusting. Literally from a Van de Camps box of fish sticks. I would be embarrassed to serve that as a 3rd grade lunch lady let alone a restaurant. Very disappointed. Just take it off the menu! read more

I went to Pete's on Friday night expecting to be seated outside but this restaurant was offering indoor dining. Hoards of people waiting at the door, inside the door and shoulder to shoulder jam packed at the bar, only one or two people masked. Bartenders, wait staff wearing masks below the nose. I was at the restaurant for an hour, 3 different waitresses came to our table to ask us for drink orders. After ordering dinner and drinks we sat there for 35 minutes. No water, no drinks and lots of staff wandering around ignoring us. Finally we gave up and left. Very poor service and total lack of COVID 19 precautions. I will not be back. read more

The food was very good as was the service, I had the ribs and the wife had the Santa Fe salad, no problem there. Then comes the beer $72.00 for 9 beers at our table, party of four. OK management / owners are you listening, if you think that your going to charge $8.00 for a beer example (Sierra Nevada) and stay in business in Redding you are grossly mistaken. When the locales find out, it will be a one time visit and word of mouth will take it from there. Even Micro Brewery's only charge $6.00. At these prices you won't last long enough to even recover the remodel costs. We won't be back, sorry, to expensive for us. read more

Pisswater Pete's is a new low and just another bad brewpub. Ordered an IPA, got a lager. Ordered the house burger, got a sponge used to soak up a spill of rancid grease and cherry syrup. Service on par with the food. Getting a taster was a ten-minute adventure for a 1/2 shot sip of bad beer and do not even think about asking for another. Waitress knew NOTHING about beer. Better food at Denny's/IHOP/Anywhere. read more

I was so excited for this place to open ..... it is simply horrible. Ordered Hawaiian sliders, he took a overcooked hamburger patty cut it in quarters and put a quarter on the bun. The coleslaw was old and wilted. The meat I had a texture that I cannot even describe. It was a mushy and grainy like sand. Ordered the knots they were sitting in a ton of grease making the bread soggy and cold. Will not return to this overly priced disgusting food. Huge waste of money read more

See all

pre breaded , horrible food. I am so disappointed. Shrimp.. nope,... garlic fries (oh god)) and artichoke hearts....pre breaded. Typical fast food chain mess. All frozen pre breaded no flavor crap read more

We went to Petes for Lunch, it was delicious. I had the Buffalo Chicken salad it was great, my husband had one of their Cheese Hamburgers it to was delicious. The Cosmo I had was good, I prefer Cosmos not to sweet and it only needed a couple of slices of lime. We will definitely be back. read more

The cheesesteak sandwich was underwhelming and the fries were terrible. Once I finished my beer I noticed something different about my pint glass...my pint glass was thicker on the inside towards the bottom half (like they are shorting you on your drink). My wife's iced tea pint glass was normal. What kind of s#!t is that? read more

Waiting for a table over an hour. New business, I get it. Tried to order a drink while I waited. Blonde woman told me she wouldn't serve me because other tables were "more important". Finally get a table and order the ahi salad. Got a steak salad instead. She then blamed the kitchen saying that "they can't seem to get their shit together". Didn't appreciate the fowl language, but the GM comped our whole meal so I guess not all was lost. Won't be doing back. GM doesn't know what he's doing and its very obvious read more

When we first tried this place we thought we found a new great place to eat out in town, however, the last couple times we have gone it has really been off. The Parmesan-Garlic wings, which were our favorite, didn't have either parm or garlic on em and the next time they were just fat and chewy and because the carrots and celery they are served with are all wet the wings are sitting in a puddle of water adding to their sogginess. Also, the food looks like it's just thrown onto the plate, and speaking of which, even though we're sharing they never bring us out plates and silverware right away, everything seems like an afterthought. read more

Went there for lunch with a long time friend. While her Ahi looked amazing my salad was pitiful. Nothing but lettuce with a tiny little bit of carrot, grated cheese and croutons. For $10 you would expect to have some beans, tomatoes, maybe even a little bit onion. So while I may go there for a meal again I definitely won't be ordering the salad read more

The place was clean, warm as in not freezing where you need 3 layers of clothing like everywhere else in Redding. We were greeted immediately by friendly staff. The food was okay but not super flavorful-crispy chicken sandwich and the steak salad. Our server Brianna, was super sweet and checked on us often but not so often it was annoying. I had a pint of beer- they were out of the one I wanted, Valle. I'm an ice tea connoisseur and snob-I will only drink fresh brewed or sun tea and their ice tea is gross and definitely from a machine so $3 is ridiculous. For two decent tasting lunch meals, 1 $7 pint, 2 lousy ice teas + 20% tip it was $57. It seemed way too much for lunch for two people. read more

Let me start off I been their 4 times the 3x I came they never service me one guy pass who work there. when I left, I told the hostess thank, she says thank you I told her no one came over to me. the last time I went with Becky they came right away, asked are order. I like the help, but the foods come on people! Hey understand! read more

Pete's restaurant and brewhouse is a horrible place. I do not recommend this place. I would give them 0 stars if I could. This is the worst place to go. I waited over an hour for my order and the staff are not nice at all. They are very rude and the manager was even more rude. They don't practice social distancing nor compassion. read more

Ugh... I was really excited for this place... we were very sadly disappointed. A kind man at the bar made us pretty good margs.. then we went to a table and we saw our server once to order and once to pay.. ahi tuna app looked like it had been sitting out for awhile.. and our impossible burger was burnt.. and they didn't have pickles which was strange lol it took forever to get any food, never got waters that we asked for.. finally got an extra plate from the food runner.. will not be returning :/ read more

Great service. High quality delicious food. Everything came out fast. Thanks to our server Brianna :) All around amazing experience! Calamari appetizer was the best calamari I've ever had.
