They rushed my pedicure then they rushed me out the door because it was the end of the night and they wanted to go home. I didn't realize my toes weren't properly dry until I got home and saw the polish all over my toes. They had already closed and I had to get on the plane the next morning. Never again with a salon that doesn't care about the service they provide. read more

Nicest people and they always do a great job. They are usually pretty busy so make sure to call ahead for an appointment!

this is the ONLY place in the area I get my nails done! It's clean, the staff is all so nice and they have a great selection of colors. I've seen a couple different people but now I regularly see Rosie, she does an amazing job! read more

I really like peters nails- if certain people do them. The first few times i went there I had the same guy but not so sure who it even was. Ive gotten acrylic nails and gel nails and they were fabulous for when i had them (im a cashier and a volunteer fore fighter so they got kinda messed up nut still stayed very well!) -- very pleased. But the last two times i went they were "too busy" to give me a simple design. The very last visit i recently had i got an acrylic set and a pedi. Two different people the lady did my pedi and i havent seen her there before but she did a great job. My acrylic set looked good when i left the salon looked okay, but i asked them to make them short and very square french tip with a design. The corners are rounded, and some nails have like a hint of yellow for some reason (and on vacation-so i dont know what stained them) and chipping near my cuticle VERY easily. But i have received many good services i will give them another chance. read more

Peter's Nails - Yellow tint on ring finger and thumb - Nail Salons Near Me - Hadley, Massachusetts

Says walk ins welcome but they turned me away saying all of their slots were booked for the rest of the day.

They are amazing! I would highly recommend making an appointment before going. They can be very busy. Other than that they have a huge variety of polish options and really know what they are doing. I love coming here to get my nails done! read more

Love this place. It is very clean, the employees are professional and friendly. My first gel manicure lasted me three weeks without one chip or feeling that it my lift and peel off! Highly recommend this place. It is now my favorite go to nail salon read more

I'm a huge fan of this place. I've been about 3 times now and I think I've found my nail place for while I'm at school! Consistent, warm, professional and my nails always look great every time. My favorite nail tech is Rosie. She's super sweet and always offers the student discount. read more

amazing service ! everyone was super nice and my nails came out looking amazing.. will definitely be going back :))

Every time I try to book a manicure, they are booked up. If there is an opening, they are not flexible. They're kind of snotty about it too. read more

It's a nice place but they don't clean their equipment between each patron. When I asked about it I was told that they change every few clients. That's gross and unsanitary. I will never go back. I'm not even sure if this is legal but they didn't seem to care read more

The absolute worst manicure one could possibly imagine. From sitting down to someone else's nail clippings on his towel to filing my nails with the ridiculous force and no thought to shape or finish. My nails are rough, with hang nails but at least the polish looks like he did it with his eyes closed. Shameful! This man should work in a donut shop, not a nail salon. I can't wait to get them redone at my regular place tomorrow. One star is generous. read more

I LOVE the work they do here. I've been a UMass student for 3 years now (rising senior!) and I refuse to go anywhere else. They do an amazing job. The reason I'm not giving a 5-star rating is because of the awful AWFUL receptionist. I've had 2 experiences now where she has tried to tell me she has no openings for the rest of the day (very quickly I must say, doesn't even bother to look at the book or try to squeeze me in somewhere) BUT then one of the nail artists comes over and tells me no they have plenty of room and take me right away. I have worked in salons before so I know the business. EXTREMELY dissatisfied with the rudeness of the receptionist. read more

I have been going to Peters Nails for 3 years now and NEVER have I had a bad experience. I stopped going to the salon for about 3 months since I work outside in the winter. I start coming back and it's completely different. I make appointments and they're not written down so I show up looking like I never made one in the first place. I booked an appointment 3 WEEKS in advanced and called that Monday and it wasn't written down. Thankfully the receptionist was nice enough to "squeeze" my friend and I in that Friday, before my brothers Jack and Jill that Saturday. I show up waiting to get my nails done, picked a color and everything. The guy who I requested to do my nails leaves for the night so I'm thinking I'll get them done by someone else.. NOT. They never got done that night and one of them have the audacity to say "are you crazy were closing, in not doing her nails now!!!". Thankfully the recieptionest was wicked nice that evening (June 9th). My friends nails came out awful and rushed (shocker) but she decided to give them another try requesting she doesn't get the same person again, specificallly by name and they give her him anyway. This post is obnoxiously long but if you are not a loyal constant customer to Peters nails DO NOT bother spending your money there. read more

I got a gel manicure and it lasted for 3 weeks before chipping. They had a good selection of colors for gel and the salon was nicely decorated and clean. The only problem was that I was told a gel manicure would cost $25 when I walked in, which is a pretty average price. Then when I was paying I was told it was an extra $5 to remove gel manicures. I've never been charged an extra $5 to have my previous gel manicure removed and thought that was a little cheap to charge for that. Overall average salon but nice technicians. read more

Two stars because I have been to Peter's Nails before and was happy with the service, it's a decently clean and nice environment. That being said, I was extremely disappointed with the service today and will not go back again. I went in for a simple gel manicure and that is where the trouble began. I sat down in the chair and the man doing my nails started peeling off the old gel manicure! I stopped and asked him about it because everywhere I've ever been has told me absolutely not to do that, it takes off layers of nail and leaves what remains very thin and weak. He simply did not answer me and kept doing it! I know he spoke English because afterward he got really angry with me about my nails being too short! I told him that I clipped them yesterday because I didn't plan on coming for a manicure today - I actually told him that I unexpectedly had to get my nails done because of a FUNERAL and he kept getting mad at me about how short they were! After that the service just went downhill. He was clearly rushing and kept squeezing my fingers really hard as he clipped my cuticles, he clipped three of them deep into my skin, so short that they started to bleed. A lot. And then he got aggressive with me asking "how did this happen?" He then ran over to another station and grabbed this blue liquid the he put all over the bleeding parts of my cuticules. It hurt so bad that I winced! He asked "Does that feel good?" and I was like "No, it hurts!" and he was like "No it doesn't!" It honestly seemed like he wanted to hurt me a little? The rest of the manicure was less eventful, with him just doing a really sloppy job of painting the gels, rushing so fast that it didn't even take the 45 seconds of drying time before he was done with the other hand. The whole time he kept making comments about how my nails were too short. I thanked him, gave him a good tip, and got the H-E-L-L out of there, his energy was so terrible. When I got to my car I looked down and saw the worst polish job I've ever had, there's paint all over my fingers and raw bloody spots around a lot of the cuticles. I feel bad writing this review because a lot of the people that work at Peter's are truly caring and take pride in what they do. I just wish I hadn't gotten caught on the bad side of whatever mood this guy was in. Beware. read more

I would give this place 10 stars if I could. Beautiful nails, beautiful people. Came in for gel mani and pedi. Everyone was so nice and very professional. Best nails salon in town hands down, perfect job. Thank you Chung and Phong, I'll be back! read more

Very nice people working there, good selection of colors. Only gave it three stars because both me and my roommate got shellac and both of our nails started chipping/peeling within a day or two. read more

Great customer service, super clean & a good job on my nails.

Made a nail appointment over the phone for a 3 o'clock on a Saturday. I came in about an hour early and polity asked that if they could squeeze me in a little earlier than that would be fantastic. The girl at the desk said "no problem Ill see what I can do". As I sat there for 25 min, 3 different "walk in customers" aka no appointments got to go in ahead of me. One of the men even came over and asked me if i was ready and as soon as he found out I had an appointment he took the walk in instead. The woman at the desk was very rude and not accommodating at all. I would say next time I wont make an appointment but there wont be a next time! I found a much better salon at the Hampshire mall that is cheaper. read more

I absolutely LOVE going to Peters Nails, but unfortunately my favorite nail tech, TK has just been fired. She is always the person I go to and I have never had a problem with the way my nails look, in fact, she goes above and beyond to make sure I am satisfied. She will try out three different nail colors on me before I decide which one to go with, then, she applies three coats. She is a perfectionist and always takes her time to make sure the job is done right. Not only is she amazing at the technical part of her job, but she always manages to cheer me up and make my day a little brighter by telling me funny stories and gossiping with me about our favorite Netflix shows. I will be very saddened to see her go, so much that I will not be returning to Peters Nails again unless this injustice is fixed. I will also make sure to tell my friends (who also love TK) what has happened. read more

After a lng stressful day at work I thought I would make an appointment at Peter's. I read though all the reviews and I thought i'd give it a try since Im new to the area. I arrived 5 min before my appt. And they seemed pretty hectic. I tried to be patient but there seemed to be a lot of miscommunication because I overheard a woman say they overbooked themselves and she started yelling at her employees, which was unpleasant to hear and highly unprofessional! I sat and waited for about 45 min to get a pedicure. Well they turned on a tub and I waited with my feet soaking for 30 min. The water got cold and I still overheard the woman screaming and yelling. Finally someone came over, it was a young man, and he didn't speak much english. He kinda rushed though the pedicure, and he was speaking vietnamese to someone else so I couldn't enjoy my pedicure and jusy relax. Needless to say I will not be coming back for an uncomfortable expeirence, rushed service and mediocre polishing. read more
