Worst manicure of my life. The guy didn't even bother to clean my nails. He filed them unevenly, I had to show him so he could fix that twice. Then he painted them so there was a visible gap between my cuticle and the paint! These were gels and they lasted under a week. Both of the workers there acted like they did not want to work. If I could leave a negative star review I would. I asked for soak off and she proceeded to RIP the current set of had on off with another fake nail. I had to correct her multiple times to get a basic square shape and they are still fucked up. Not one nail is the same length and they are all filed at an angle. They are extremely choppy and thick. The accent nail designs do not match and look absolutely busted. The current set I had on that was 3 weeks grown out looked better than what she did. I would have been happy if I took the 75 dollars I had paid her for her services and burned it. I get my nails done for myself as my me time and she absolutely ruined it. read more

So I had a little time to kill so I decided to come here because, parking is convenient and I have been here before. Well first of all the guy who did the pedicure did not soak my feet long enough to soften the cuticles yet started to scrape them and then cut them far to close. The filing was rough and hurt my toes. I kept saying, ouch and that it hurt. At one point I literally pulled my foot out of his hand, OUCH. If I could leave a 0 star I would. My girlfriend got home from receiving service from this chop shop nail salon with her nail looking like this. She had acrylic nails done with them prior and she wanted to remove this set because her fake nail had popped off one of her fingers and her natural nails were growing long underneath because when they did her first set they didn't trim her natural nail, so she wanted to get a new set start over and trim her nails for the new set. During the removal process rather than soaking the nail to remove it the nail tech got another fake nail she had in her kit and used that to dig under her nails to remove the acrylic nails making it an uncomfortable/painful experience. After she dug into my gfs thumb tho she ended up hurting her natural nail, making it look like the photo. And we're assuming the owner of the chop shop came up to her and told her it was actually her fault she got them removed too soon. She had gotten a fill with them 2/26 and it doesn't matter a removal shouldn't have this result, they can't justify ripping the nails off her for the removal process, rather than soaking them off and followed with a drill like she usually gets done. She wanted to leave and not finish removing the acrylic off the other hand but the nail tech insisted and did it the proper way. Soaking it, followed with the drill. (Even still they didn't finish the job with that, they did a half job on it) During that process rather than being apologetic multiple people came up to her telling her the same thing it was her fault she got them removed too soon and to get dip instead next time. They're the "professionals" if they felt this way inform her. After this they still ended up charging her for the service and when she was walking out the owner told her "get dip nail instead next time". When she got home, I saw what happened, I immediately called the business asking why they charged her for the service when her nail looked the way it did and he kept yelling at me to come to his shop (like he was challenging me to a fight? Was definitely a strange way for an owner to handle this situation) he also said that they only charged her for labor for removing the nail. And that my gf insisted on getting her nails done so it's her fault (she walked in the previous day and made an appointment, they got the date set. That's insisting?) . If they had informed her, it's still too soon let's not go through with this. She wouldn't argue with them. I don't understand how they can justify it's her fault and still charge her for the service,. They don't care for their clients safety. read more

Just got my first set of acrylics here and I'm obsessed! For reference my nails were a mess before this and my ring finger was broken in half with nail bed showing and now it looks perfect. I wanted a sort of messy star design (showed a picture) and I love how it came out. The only thing I would have liked was for the woman who did my nails to have cleaned up my polish from my last manicure a little better as there's still some blue on my cuticles. I also would have liked her to clean up my nail beds a little better as I still have some dead skin but that's the only reason for 4 stars as I think she did a great job everywhere else. They've changed their name to Nail Pro and Spa btw! read more

My friend had a nice woman and she did a nice job. I had a terrible experience. The man that did my nails told me my hands and nails were dry and told me to do the gel, ultimately causing me to spend 15 more dollars I didn't want to spend. He was very rough and put my hands in cold dirty water. He cut my cuticles too much and caused MULTIPLE of my fingers to bleed. He then insulted my hands again calling them dry and told me I need to come in in 10 days so that he can fix my cuticles again (absolutely not). They have a lot of availability for a reason. I asked my tech to file the corners of my big toes and she carved them out and they are bleeding and uneven. I paid for deluxe pedicures for both of us. I have gone to this place a couple of times before however the past two times I went it was horrible. I don't see where they sanitize their tools for one. The woman that did both my gel pedicure and manicure did a horrible job. She cut my finger where it kept bleeding. She still progressed into painting my nails despite my bleeding finger. She also cut two of my toes. The paint on my fingers are not even. They are awful looking. We are leaving for vacation and my nails look like a two year old painted them. I will not be returning. Horrible pedicure! The technician rushed through the entire process. Cut my toenails with a cuticle trimmer, barely filed them and was too lazy to even massage my feet. It was the most amateur, unprofessional pedicure I have ever had. Extremely unfriendly and acted as if it was a bother to even do the job. Choose ANYWHERE ELSE. I don't know why I always do this to myself. I convince myself to try a new nail place, only because the one I love is inconveniently located for me, yet I always end up not as happy. For starters, I was the only one here for the entire 1.5 hours of my appointment. That should have been my first clue. The salon itself looked old and run down, even though it's only a few months old. It looks like the didn't put much into the design of the salon. There were 4 techs working, and besides the one who was working on me, they were all sitting on there cell phones either watching youtube videos or playing games that were very loud and bothersome to someone who was trying to enjoy some peach and quiet. To her credit, the lady doing my nails really took her time (too much time) on my nails, and they ended up looking okay. I'm a perfectionist about these things, but someone who doesn't get their nails done as often probably wouldn't notice the little details that bothered me. I'd give her a solid B-. The dingy, dirty look and feel of the place is what really turned me off. Not to mention the unprofessional staff, and the distracting "candy crush" noises. Maybe one day Hadley will have a nail salon worth visiting. Unfortunately, this one is not it. read more

This place has an overwhelming odor of bad incense (it's still all I can smell an hour after leaving.) The service was rushed, my nail polish wore off almost immediately (after drying for 30+ minutes), massage chair was broken, and tv overhead was too loud. $60 spa pedicure was 30 minutes long and didn't seem any different then the normal one. The staff was friendly and the space was clean and welcoming, but I'll most likely never return. read more

This place is called VIP? VIP usually stands for Very Important Person. Well, I am not sure who is supposed to feel important in this salon! Today it was not me. I was the only customer when I walked in. I couldn't decide between gels (which I've never had before) or just a manicure. The manicurist began filing my nails and trimming my cuticles but when I decided to not do gels, she got up and and another manicurist began filing my nails. The polish display is disorganized, not sorted by color or brand - which it is in most salons - which made selecting a color time consuming. The second manicurist (who had her phone on the table and was paying more attention to it than to my nails) was ready to put on polish but I had not washed my hands yet nor had any hand cream applied. I had to ask for the hand massage and while the massage was taking place, I mentioned to the first manicurist that she hadn't cleaned under my nails. She claimed that she had when she trimmed my cuticles. I was not going to argue with her. The first manicurist did an acceptable job painting my nails. She put me under the hand dryer. There were no magazines, nothing to do but look out the window. No one ever came over to check my nails. After about 15 minutes I asked if it was "okay to leave". The manicurist, without getting off of her seat, said "fine". She never came over to check if my nails were actually dry. This is only my second negative post to Yelp, but I was so annoyed at the lack of personal attention, the laziness of the staff that they couldn't even arrange the polish by color or brand and how little they actually cared about how they treated a customer. I will not go back, ever. And will be sure to let my friends know to not go to VIP. read more

If you're looking to get a quality job done on your nails, this is definitely not the place. Went in for an acrylic fill and ended up paying $35 because of these random charges they gave me. "Missing a nail, $5", "trim the nails, $5", "color change, $10", I mean, seriously? The damn full set only costs $30 so how the hell do I need to pay $35 for a fill? His place is fantastic. It is not too expensive and my pedicurist did a fantastic job cutting out an incredibly painful ingrown toenail. She was super careful about cleaning it it and I feel so much better. Great place! I would definitely recommend. read more

I went in for a gel manicure and should have known it was not a good choice when I was the only customer in the place. I was told to pick a color and I asked if they used OPI polish. Not sure if it was a language barrier but the man said, "Yes, we have OPI". I am assuming he understood with that response. The biggest issue is this business does not use a Autoclave. After the man started to work on my nails a woman took over. She literally took her metal cuticle clippers out from a drawer. They were in an autoclave package or soaking in any liquid. The manicure was sloppy and lasted less than a week. Would not recommend this place at all. read more

I'm so torn about this place So last week I went out with my sister to get a pedicure. We usually go to Nail Pro in the mall...but unfortunately they were closed due to renovations. So I figured I'd give VIP nails a try. It was nice and clean inside. We got the usual "pick a color" welcome...(which i hate). So then we went and sat on the waiting couch. After about 5 minutes we were told to go sit down in the massage chairs. My water was completely cold. And my sisters was almost too hot to put her feet in. We sat there for 15 minutes before anyone even came over to tell us how long it would be. After 20 minutes finally two ladies came over. This is the part that tears me up. The lady did an excellent job...took her time and really massaged my legs and feet. (Oh sorry i forgot to mention my massage chair didnt even work). Then while we were getting our nails done my sister asked if she coild get her eyebrows waxed. They said no problem. So we went over to dry our nails...We sat there for 30 minutes before my sister finally asked if anyone was gonna do her brows. They said "5 minutes". So we waited...and waited...and WAITED...after another half hour a lady cane over and told her to come with her...overall the service was terrible...like im NEVER ever going back...i feel bad cause the lady did do a good job...just the overall experience was terrible. Oh and i forgot...while my sister was in the chair she tried to use the water spout and it shot water all over the place...took like a minute to get the thing shut off...extremely terrible service...the farthest thing from VIP read more

The web advertised price is not the price charged at salon. It's advertised Gel mani pedi for $32. Yet when 3 of us walked in the man said it was $47 for Gel. The other salons were comparable to the advertised price which wasn't even honored. Filing wasn't smooth so nails catching on fabric. Tips not polished so will chip quickly. They started my pedicure off with cold water and was one of the shortest pedicures I've ever gotten, then when I got my manicure the woman doing it had all of my nails filed unevenly. I asked her to try to make them more even and she seemed to not know what an evenly filed nail looked like, it was very bizarre.
