They are so deserved…read more This year, as I enter my 70's, I had to have a few procedures done, one of which was deep cleaning before shoulder surgery in a few months. This review I thought I'd focus on Dr Bosler's hygienist, Molly. Molly is extremely knowledgeable. I'm a nurse myself and am so impressed with her care of the whole person. She is so thorough she has been able to assess a few dental problems and address them early saving me from a much worse problem and expense down the line. A few years ago Molly noticed a "shadow" on my inner cheek that warranted a visit to my primary care doc. As it turned out there was no cancer and I did not require further work up. I've been blessed to be able afford dental checkups my entire life. However, having a team of professionals who have helped me avoid serious dental issues and expenses really has helped! Molly, if you read this, I hope you to know you're the best of the best. You look at the whole patient, their lifestyle and needs. It's that "extra" genuine personal interest, intelligence and gentleness you provide that makes you the exceptional medical professional you are. They've been incredibly supportive and helped me overcome my anxiety. Now I don't stress about appointments at all--in fact, I actually look forward to them because my dental health has improved so much. Johnna, who does my cleanings, is amazing. She's gentle, understanding, and always takes the time to address my concerns while doing a fantastic job on my teeth. After my first examination Dr. Ellison told me I needed five new crowns!! My previous dentist did have any recommendations for any new crowns and the new dentist I have since seen did not recommend any either. I sadly agreed to one crown. He had his assistant set the crown. Don't dentists usually do that? Water flowed freely under the crown!! He had to drill it off! He remade the crown and again had his assistant set the crown. It is too low and the opposing tooth has protruded to meet the lower tooth. My bite is all off. What a nightmare!! I have since talked to another friend that had a similar bad experience. Also my husband has been a long time patient and received similar poor treatment and switched dentists. There are too many good dentists out there to have to stoop to go to Dr. Ellison!!

I should have taken a picture of that crown with the bad margin. Another tooth filling was so bad that it lacerated my tongue. It's like she refused to see the problem and kind of shushed and tutted me over it. Said she didn't want to create "a food catcher" between the teeth. "yes but it's sharp and cutting my tongue." did not elicit compassion or a fix. It led to months of hell and many dentists and thousands and thousands of dollars lost. It's been 10 months and I'm still not completely out of pain. I have other stories. Sadly. Should have left long ago. Still just talking and eating cause me a lot of pain.

I went to him for advice and a second opinion and to do the work necessary…read more He advised me to extract two teeth and get a bridge, but informed me that he would not extract the teeth and to have my regular dentist do it and then come back to him for the bridge work. He had no problem, taking my money for the advice, even though he refused to extract my teeth. I never returned and would advise everyone to avoid him at all costs.
