    Lobster Corn Chowder
    Christy W.

Delicious! The place was very busy, so we sat at the bar -- and I'm glad we did. I had the espresso martini and the blueberry lemon martini -- both absolutely delicious. The lobster corn chowder was loaded with huge chunks of lobster and full of flavor. The oysters were amazing, and the crab cakes were the best I've ever had -- perfectly crisp on the outside, tender inside, and packed with flavor. A truly memorable meal from start to finish.

We visit every summer and Peter Ott's is on the current rotation. Love sitting on the waterfront and watching the boats. The blueberry margarita is delicious! A must try. Menu is limited. Everything we've tried over the years has been good. The blueberry tart was amazing!! Looking forward to next year.

Been there often ... never disappointed, quality food, cocktails and their service is always spot on.

cute waterfront gem right on the pier, offering both indoor and outdoor seating. We were able to walk in without a wait, which was a nice surprise. The menu is limited but offers a good mix of options. The mussels were a standout--tender and flavorful. We went with the cold lobster roll special; the portion was fair, but the flavor didn't quite stand out. Service was friendly and efficient.

It is a beautiful location. And the bartenders were friendly. But... the lobster roll was a pretty darn slimy (not a good sign), the service was mediocre and there seemed to be little awareness of these issues among the staff. If you want ambiance go for it.

We have somehow neglected this restaurant on numerous vacations to the immediate area so this year we did our best to make amends. The location overlooking the harbor is beautiful and service throughout our meal was grand. We started off by sharing a delicious goat cheese and beet salad that included house pickled beets and onion on a base of arugula topped with a balsamic and honey dressing. Each of us chose the seared salmon with maple chipotle glaze as our entree with accompanying sides of mashed potato and grilled summer squash. Perfectly prepared and delicious.

This is a cool spot located on the river and the ambiance is wonderful. We wanted to sit outside but the temperature had dropped so we opted for inside seating. We also tried to get a reservation but they were full so we waited about 20 minutes for a table. It was somewhat confusing to figure out the exact location of this place and parking was minimal and not convenient. I suggest walking or taking an Uber if possible or going early. We waited a long time at the bar for a glass of wine and I wish they would have had another person to help in that area as many were waiting for their spirits. We ordered side salads that were delicious and fresh. I ordered the lobster chowder and this was satisfying and a good serving. I would have loved more lobster but it was fine. My sister ordered the dockside burger and she enjoyed it. It was cooked well and was a good serving. We enjoyed our meal and visit here.

Located right on the waterfront in downtown historic Camden, Peter Ott's is a casual eatery offering up local seafood and cuisine (with a great view). We arrived at around 6:15 and there was a wait to be seated outdoors and a short line to wait in for indoor seating. Our waitress was very friendly but seemed a bit overworked so her visits to our table to check-in were a bit infrequent. We went with the Lobster BLT and Lobster Alfredo per our server's advice and both were good. My sister enjoyed the BLT and the alfredo was good (and locally made) but other than the texture which gives it away, you wouldn't know you were eating lobster so I would probably save my money and just order the chicken alfredo if I ever make my way back. It's location and ambiance gave off tourist vibes (I didn't gather that a lot of locals were dining around us) so take that for what you will but it does offer diners a central location, waterfront views, and locally sourced food.

Recommended by a friend and our host at Whitehall Inn. So good!! Delicious lobster roll and clam chowder! Our southern waitress from NC was wonderful. And the view to the harbor was delightful.

Lovely view of the waterfront and boats during your dining experience. Our dinner was well cooked and served quickly. We were able to be seated immediately because we were ok with eating inside. They seated us right by the window with a great view. Paloma was refreshing with a lovely candied grapefruit garnish.

Came here for lunch based on Yelp recommendations. It is below the Grand Harbor Inn, right on the water. They had a seasonal Maine blueberry margarita that several at the table imbibed in. Very blueberry ish. I had a local beer. It was good. We ordered 2 lobster roils and a burger. The lobster rolls were small but well done. The market price was $35. The lemon aioli on the lobster was very nice. The sweet potatoe fries were amazing. The regular fries were good as well. Saw people eating the fish tacos, the beet salad and whole steamed lobsters as well. There is pay parking just outside. Would definitely go back here again.

Casual restaurant in Camden offering scenic water views , outdoor seating & extensive menu. Pet friendly with outdoor patio seating . We ordered the lobster blt and the lobster Alfredo . Both were good , nothing was amazing but probably a good lobster bet if you are craving lobster . I would consider Peter Otts a tourist spot so I would say the flavor and quality of the lobster is on par with it being a tourist spot . It's not amazing but it's decent . Our server was efficient and we enjoyed the beautiful views .

The vibe was cozy, warm, and inviting, which was a far cry from most places we had visited which seemed a bit exhausted and ill prepared to deal with lingering fall tourists. The food was phenomenal with complex and interesting flavors. The calamari was crispy and the chilis and sauce were the perfect complement. The chicken was also perfectly cooked and seasoned. But by far the best dish was the mussels. The broth with the soft chunks of sweet potato and bread to soak everything up was perfection. Cocktails were also unique and tasty. 3 alcoholic drinks, one small plate and 2 entrees was $100, which was well worth the price for the quality of the food and atmosphere.

Have returned twice since then. As the menu is small and hasn't changed since my first visit, the charm has worn off. I usually share the roast half chicken plus 2-3 sides. The meal was absolutely flavorful on my first visit but not so much the last visit in Dec 2025. Maybe it was a bad night? I thought the flavors fell flat and service was not as attentive. I was celebrating the holidays by treating friends to dinner and had to wave down someone twice to order rounds of drinks. I will give any establishment 20 stars if they are paying attention as to whether your glass is half empty. For me, the food can be excellent or blah but excellent service can make or break a restaurant.

Ribs were extremely tender and the Hoisin glaze was so savoury. I got the shrimp and grits, with good ratio of jumbo shrimp to sausage. The cheddar grits were perfectly done. Impressively personable service. We celebrated our anniversary and all three staff (host, primary waitress and food runner) all congratulated us. I think there were two primary servers and two runners that evening, but they were effortlessly moving about the room.
