This boutique being small and cozy with rolls of fabric and creations in the work, is only apart of it. The best part is the creator, the mastermind behind making you unique, and thats Waheeda. I was going to a wedding in March 2020 and desperately wanted to stand out in my uniqueness, and someone referred her. I hesitated in calling because everyone else was saying you should have done this 3-6 months ago, and to be honest, this was last minute, so i said, why not? They can just say no. I called and explained everything, and without hesitation, she made time in her schedule. I called this professionalism when every deadline was met, and i walked away very pleased with her creation and how she catered to my unique style is the best feeling. I am writing this review now, a year later because of covid, the wedding was canceled, and the dress/jumper did not have its debut, and i just tried it on, and i still love it. I wanted to thank Waheeda for all her effort, time, understanding, and patience to pay attention to the details and made me feel like i was her only client.

Initially, the place was a little hard to find as it's not ground level, but once you get in, it's a really cool space that they've turned in a showroom. TLDR: with Michael as my point of contact, between April and August 2022, I was unable to get 2…read morecustom shirts ($95 each), and 1 vest ($155) Timeline / series of events: - April: went in, got fitted for 2 custom dress shirts, paid upfront, and was told it would take about 5 weeks. Plan was for 1st shirt to come, confirm my size and fit, and then they'd make 2nd shirt. - May: email from Michael that they had issues w/ their Shanghai team (that's where the clothes are made) - clothing production delayed until mid-June (estimated). - Some other time in May '22: without my knowledge, my wife added a vest to my order as a surprise. - Late June: 1st shirt arrives, and vest came separately (in error - was supposed to come after confirming my fit). Both items were incredibly small/tight - like spandex. And I'm a slim guy. Michael says they'll redo the shirt from scratch, but that I need to bring in the vest so they can alter in Boston. Here's where things fall apart in July and August: - My wife works in walking distance to their Boston location (the only one left), so planned to drop off the vest herself, instead of going through the mail. - Vest return attempt #1: Michael said she could drop off, "any time after 11am". She goes there at 1pm - no one was there. Michael said, "sorry about that, it's just me today and I was out at our tailor's". IMO, if you tell someone to come in any time after 11am, and you end up leaving, you should let them know. It was a careless mistake, but I let it go. - In parallel, the "1st shirt" arrives for the 2nd time: wrong style (french instead of placket) and again, way too tight. I'm slim, but this shirt makes my stomach look chubby. Michael asks over email if it's supposed to be a dress shirt or casual shirt (regarding tucking-in). Great question... that should have been asked in April. Lucky for him, I'm an educated buyer, so I did intend to buy a custom dress shirt (like the one they are attempting to make). - Vest return attempt #2: I'm losing trust in Michael at this point, so I asked specifically what days and times he will be there the next week, and for a phone number to call in advance to make sure someone is in fact there. He assured me that people would be there until 5:45pm. I called several times at 5pm so my wife could get there before 5:45pm - no one answered the number he gave me. - Vest return attempt #3: Michael emailed: "with enough advanced notice... we'll be good!" and "5pm is a safe bet on Monday". So on that Monday, I emailed at 1:42pm asking if my wife could come in at 3:30pm-ish and called several times again - no response/answer. So, she went there at 5pm (the "safe bet") and again, no one was there (another customer was trying to return something, too). - Note: over several days and several phone calls, no one answered the phone # that Michael gave me. - Vest return attempt #4: By this point, I canceled both shirts - I thought they were not worth the time and effort. I planned one more attempt on the vest (only because my wife got it for me as a gift - so wanted to appreciate it). I emailed Michael: "How about Wed 8/10 or Thu 8/11 at 9am?" He replied: "I'll be here every day at 5:00, Wednesday and Thursday both days until at least 6:00!" - I gave up. It was clear he was incapable of scheduling a simple drop off. I call the phone number 3-4 times in a row, Michael finally picks up. He said if I gave him a specific day and time, he could make it work - I explained I just tried that via email - the "Wed 8/10 or Thu 8/11 at 9am" ask - and he responded with unrelated days and times. Michael agreed to refund me for the two shirts, and refund my wife for the vest before he hung up on me. - Since he hung up, I did confirm refund via email - he confirmed quickly. - I will never go to Blank Label again. - Outside of getting the clothes to fit - the style was OK and quality was below average. - My suggestions: buy from Suitsupply (custom), Club Monaco, Bonobos, Ralph Lauren, Brooks Brothers, etc. - certainly not Blank Label. - Prediction: Blank Label will be out of business by the end of 2023.

Hi, I'm Ricky from Sunnyvale Trailer Park and I'm here to review this...fashion...store-y thing…read more You might think my girlfriend Lucy put me up to this, or that I lost a bet to Julian, but actually, I need to work on my writing so I can get my Grade 10. I've been writing Whelp reviews for about six months now, so I think I'm gonna pass this test with flyin' friggin' carpets! Are you looking like a Hobolo or a Hill-a-billy? Do you need a new suit, dress, skirt, blazer, or pair of slacks so you can look as dapper as Bernie Sanford? Are you interviewing for a good-paying job like Temporary Relief Assistant Trailer Park Supervisor? Well, you've found the perfect place! You might've passed by this store hundreds of times on your way to King of Donair and never given it a second thought. Well, sometimes you gotta learn stuff through denial and error. This store has everything you need for a dressy occasion like a Cheeseburger Picnic or a stag party - until it gets all frigged up and you wake up to your friends stealing bananas and hot dogs for your wedding reception, friggin' idiots. Which brings me to my next point. I almost got married in a suit from here, till Randy and Lahey broke up my friggin' wedding! It's like, Jesus Christ, I'm tryin' to get friggin' married here! But I guess it's all water under the fridge now. Lucy loves me - and I love her. Anyway, I don't know much about shopping or fashion, but I used to date this chick Sarah, and she always looks wicked good. She got this tight polka dot dress here for three dollars. Jackpop! What a deal! I remember she wore it when I took her out for sweet 'n power chicken (best way to romance a woman), and it looked hot as hell on her! Really brought out her eyes and hair curlers. So Sarah and my girlfriend Lucy are best friends. They're constantly in here shopping the clearance rack, which is ok cuz this place is wicked cheap. Lucy got me my three favorite shirts from here. One has a kick-ass eagle on it, one looks like a newspaper clippy thing, and the other has this sweet pattern - houndsbreath or wolfjaw or whatever it's called. Only thirty bucks in bottle money. Now this place may not always have what you're lookin' for, but worst-case Ontario, you swallow your prize and try again next time. It's supply and command and survival of the fitness, boys. I brought the whole crew here so they could get new outfits for the Cheeseburger Picnic. Now I don't care about that greasy, no-shirt-wearin' Randy OR his picnic, but I had to make it up to everybody after eating nine cans of ravioli, kidnapping Alex Lifeson from Rush, and lighting Bubbles' shed on fire. (The flames were golfing, just golfing everywhere! There was nothin' I could do). Anyway, it was the funnest time I've had shopping since we scored a model rocket and played space out in the middle of the street! But not as fun as when I got on the intercom and paged Randy and Lahey to the Frig Off Department. We had a friggin' awesome time, even though Sarah made me bring the two biggest Frig Giraffes in the Dumb-Dumb Salad. We all know Sarah has a thing for Cory and Trevor. She bought Cory three new hats and got Trevor two new pairs of pants to make up for the ones I ripped. I couldn't stand watching them follow her around the store like dogs, so I mostly helped Lucy pick out clothes that show off her new cans. She tried on this sparkly vesty thing that nearly made my heart attack! There's also a Men's Big & Tall section here, so that Mustard Tiger "Philadelphia" Collins FINALLY has a shirt that covers his gut. Bubbles scored a couple new cowboy shirts, and Julian even found an Easter hat for Mrs. Peterson. (They were about to kick him out cuz of his rum 'n coke, but he convinced them that he NEVER spills his drink). And Lucy didn't notice, but I got her a nice Zirwoski crystal bracelet - way better than those cubic zarcarbian things! Hopefully now she'll be in the mood and we'll bang behind the muffler shop. This store's not the newest or the shiniest, so some people might get a pessimistic view of the merchandise. But I'm not a pessimist, I'm an optometrist. And I lived in a car for ten years living off of hot dogs and chicken fingers. Give the place a try and you'll probably find something you like. And hey, if the clothes aren't your style, more for me! After all, one man's garbage is another man person's good ungarbage. It doesn't take rocket appliances to see that K&G Fashion Superstore is friggin' WICKED! If your friends don't believe you, bring 'em in so you can say "Atodaso! Ah-friggin' atodaso!" ~For real though, this place truly is awesome. Affordable and great variety for the whole family. This review is all in good fun, but my pics have (mostly) serious commentary. Nam sayin'? All in all, this store rocks. As J-Roc would say, "It's tight, cheap, and dope. I'm out."
