This is regarding my second visit, and I have never felt so dismissed by a "doctor." I have also never felt compelled to leave a negative review for anything until now. At my first visit, after I declined a skin test, the receptionist belittled me. She said, "even five year olds can do it." I tried explaining that I was not afraid of needles... but that I had been dealing with severe hives, eczema, and allergic dermatitis for a year, and did not want to trigger a flare up when I was not currently having one. Because for me, flare ups take so much time to calm down. I explained this, but she completely ignored me and repeated that "even babies can do the test." I requested a full blood panel, but the doctor only tested what I already knew, peanuts and shellfish, saying more tests would come next time. The results confirmed what I had known my whole life, making it pointless. He told me to avoid those foods, which I had already done my entire life. At the second visit, he said I did not need further testing since I was not flaring. I explained I had just started applying intense medication to make my skin look remotely normal, but had been dealing with mysterious skin allergies for over a year and needed real answers as to what the cause was. I tried explaining that just because it looked 5% better, didn't mean the pain and itchiness was gone. He cut me off and dismissed me, saying if I were allergic to something, I would know what it is. When I continued advocating for myself, asking for a full allergy panel, (I got very few words in) he became visibly angry and yelled at me. He aggressively typed notes, saying he was noting I was "difficult" and had "insisted" on getting tested so that the office staff would know about me. He literally tossed the paperwork at me and sarcastically said, "I'll see you in a month." He also said, "I've spent ten minutes explaining this," and kept cutting me off, but I checked afterward and I was in the room for less than three minutes. No patient deserves to be belittled, yelled at, or dismissed when they are suffering, or in general. I left in tears. If you value being heard and respected, I recommend going elsewhere. I'd give less stars if I could. He charged my husband and I each $350 for a 5-10 minute talk we had with him discussing next steps and allergy testing. $350 x 2 =$700.00 FOR LITERALLY 5-10 MINUTES. This doesn't even include the allergy testing itself! My husband went in for something very specific and the doctor acknowledged that. But when he returned they ran a different allergy that had absolutely nothing to do with his concern. I also went in to test for a specific allergy and through both of our appointments.... This is what it seemed like.... It seems like he just says the exact same thing, recommending allergy shots (for mild, seasonal allergies), recommending a special pillow case for dust mites (when we don't have a high allergy to those). He was very adamant on prescribing loratadine (Claritin) and basically Flonase. He seems very insincere, almost lazy, seems to have a very cookie cutter response to patients. Aside from that the office itself is very run down and almost prison like. I took my grandmother to Dr. Peter Parker for treatment, and I was genuinely impressed. After years of rushed five-minute visits with other specialists, Dr. Parker stood out immediately. He took his time to review her full health and medication history, personally checked her vitals, and even discussed possible drug interactions affecting her condition. Though his specialty is allergy and immunology, he went above and beyond by pointing out other important health concerns to monitor. The staff were also incredibly kind and helpful. So surprised by the bad reviews Dr. Parker has. My mom has been going to him for years & told me I should see him when I started getting hives out of no where. I called and was able to make an appt for the next day. The receptionist was the sweetest, and answered all of my questions over the phone. When I went in for my consultation I had to fill out some paperwork and was called right in. After my vitals were taken I was greeted by Dr. Parker. He was very kind and heard all of my concerns, asked if I had pictures to show him of my hives, and then examined my nose, ears, and throat. He then explained what he thought could be my reason for hives, suggested an allergy test and let me know how to prepare for it. I went back 2 weeks later for the allergy test and it was just as easy as my first visit. The allergy test was pain free, took about 20 minutes. He read me my results, walked me through my options and scheduled me for a follow up 4 weeks out. Like I said, super surprised by the bad Yelp reviews. The office is well kept and clean. The staff is super sweet and helpful. I would recommend him to everyone! Side note: I did not go through my insurance so my consultation was $150 and allergy test was $250. read more

I very rarely write negative reviews but I had a mediocre healthcare experience and absolutely terrible billing experience with this office. I got an allergy test here in 2017, they said I was allergic to pretty much everything and the only treatment would be to come back for shots every week for a year or something very expensive and time consuming. I had heard similar stories from other people so I don't know whether this was true for me or not. I haven't gone to another allergist since. But given my billing experience I am now skeptical they were just trying to milk whatever they could from me. I didn't go forward with treatment and never went back to the office. My insurance covered the appointment besides copay, and I went on my way. Months or maybe a year later I got a Bill from them in the mail. I called and tried to explain it was worked out and covered and eventually had to get my insurance involved to prove coverage. All of this took hours on hold and was a boring frustrating process. Maybe a year after that I started getting bills again for the same treatment. I called the office to say there was a mistake. No one ever was able to take care of this for me and always said they'd call me back. No one ever once called me back. They just kept sending bills and I'd call and they would say they'd handle it. This went on for maybe another year until finally last month I got a debt collector notice in the mail for like double or triple the price and threats to damage my credit score. Finally I called the debt collector who was sympathetic and told me to stop dealing with the office and call my insurance. Which as we all know is frustrating and takes forever on hold. Maybe I just slipped through the cracks, but given the 3 star rating I don't think so. Avoid! read more

When I tried to explain to him what happened he just cut me off and didn't seem interested. He did an allergy test on me and when I went to get the results he blamed it on something that made no sense. Please don't go there. The lady on the desk is very rude and she doesn't even say hello. The doctor won't answer your questions and he just gives you medicine for seasonal allergies not for what you're really are allergic to. My husband was referred to this doctor. Too bad we didn't look him up on yelp before wasting time with him. Parker is not interested to hear specifics about your symptoms, cuts you off mid-sentence, and rushes into conclusions to get you out of the way. Had to hound him to get the allergy test results. Then it turned out that his interpretation of the results did not even make sense while reading the actual results. To top it off, the breathing test was administered in the secretary's cubbyhole. I guess there was no other place one could put a breathing machine. That felt reassuring. The whole operation screams "fly by night". Thanks to Yelp, made an appointment with a different allergist who spends time with patients and wants to learn about your symptoms in order to provide quality service. read more

I wanted to wait and write my review after few visits to this office. I was referred to Dr Peter Parker through my insurance company. Right after getting my authorization I went on Yelp and all I saw were bad reviews and a 3 star page. I got so anxious that immediately I called my primary care doctor to refer me to someone else. But right away he reassured me that Dr Parker is one of the best allergy specialists and I should go and see him. The day of my first appointment I was greeted by the sweetest lady who took my information and asked me to wait for the doctor. Her name is Amy. Very friendly, knowledgeable and caring lady. She sure knows how to do her job with insurance companies. She needed to clarify few things while I waited regarding copay and other expenses that I might face throughout my treatment. Then Sara called me in to the exam room to get my vital signs, health information and current symptoms. She is friendly and takes care of you with a smile on her face, answers all your questions and gives feedback regarding procedures. Now the doctor. He's is a very experienced, intelligent and kind. He asked what my symptoms were, what was bothering me the most etc...He took his time getting to know me and suggested to do a allergy test to figure out what I'm allergic to. After the first visit I went and saw him two more times so he can see how I'm doing with medications he gave me then finally on my forth visit they did the allergy test and I found out that I'm allergic to bunch of stuff. Then he went over the treatment plan with me and asked me to go back and see him in a month. Never has he even once tried to rush me out of his office, or talk rudely. He is very professional and caring. I had the best experience here and will recommend anyone who is having allergy problems. This year it looks like allergies are hitting really bad. Had an appointment at this place once will never be going back! Not sure if the front desk lady is the one always answering the phone but she is completely USELESS! First they sent over my prescription to the wrong pharmacy after I had gave her the correct address not sure how you can manage to make that mistake and then I called MANY TIMES to have this fixed she says "you go to that pharmacy" argued with her that I didn't and the finally says they will call later to have this fixed by someone else. Never had this fixed called again and still didn't solve anything for me. Good looking for your patients! I am having my Doctor refer me elsewhere. I no longer go here, thank goodness. I am severely asthmatic and have been my whole life. Dr Parker said I had anxiety, not asthma. But then somehow down the line prescribes Xolair ( a biologic shot for asthma). I also have anxiety and I went home and was panicking and thinking I was going into anaphylactic shot. So I called the office to ask for advice. Dr. Parker WOULD NOT TAKE MY PHONE CALL unless I had an appointment. I had just left there! The call was to follow up on the shot they just gave me in the office that same day just an hour before. That behavior should tell you everything you need to know about this doctor and his office. Not satisfied with the service here. I had an appointment and still had to wait 20 minutes. Long story short I came here to take an allergy test. The poked the back part of my skin for the test and I wasn't told you are not supposed to scratch your back. Finally the results came and I could not understand a work the doc was saying. He has a really thick accent. They also weren't going to give me my results. They tell you what they are but if you want a copy of them you have to ask. Overall I didn't like the service here. I had scheduled an appointment a month ago and the receptionist called me yesterday to confirm I was still coming. My appointment was today. I was already ready and going to go to my appointment 39 minutes before my appointment I get a call that they don't take my insurance and that I need to get a new referral. You had 1 month to tell me about my insurance. I could have gotten another appointment elsewhere and now I have to get another referral and schedule another appointment and wait for that for who knows how long. Dr. Parker listens carefully, is patient, respectful and timely. He worked through a complicated allergy we are trying to pin down and recommended a medicine that seems to be working. What I am really hoping for is finding out what the cause is, but that is proving to be challenging (and the stars will go to 5 when we figure that out!). Still, I think Dr. Parker is trying to be diligent and I appreciate that, knowing that there are limits to medical science. On a bright sunny morning with flowers blooming everywhere, white puppies bouncing up and down under the big blue sky; a not so cheerful Giji walked into this humble little allergy office. She only had 1 thing in her mind; hoping someone would look at her hives and give her a magic pill so she can finally sleep. As a new and walk-in patient, to her surprise, Dr. Parker and his fellow staff spent a solid amount of time, efficiently ran tests and comparing with the patient's past and existing conditions. Dr. Parker spotted a red flag right way and clearly disclosed the pros & cons of the treatment plan, and educated her what to expect. I never thought I'd ever say or advice anyone to not see a certain doctor. But, please don't see this doctor. I haven't seen a doctor for several years until I finally decided it's time for a general check-up. My husband searched for a general internist in our area and found Dr. Parker only a few miles away from us. We decided to go to this doctor because he also happens to be an Allergist. I have been suffering from sinus allergy problems so it was only smart to pick him as my new primary doctor. It was a bad decision. Driving to his place, I was worried that I was driving into the Urgent Care clinic. His office was actually in a small, separate building in the back. The usual vital check took place and I saw the doctor finally. I brought up some allergy and stress issues. Guess what? He recommended for me to go to Urgent Care in front to get my bloodwork done. He also didn't have physician referrals of his own, but again advised me to ask Urgent Care. I also thought Dr. Parker didn't care to investigate my symptoms but instead jumped into conclusions. The worst part is his office charged $70 for copay. With my knowledge, my doctor visit copay should only be $30. So I asked the front desk why it was expensive. They told me that that was to copay to see a specialist. Why did I pay for a specialist to tell me to go to Urgent Care? Mind-boggling. read more

After reading some of the bad reviews on this doctor I cannot understand how people have had such awful experiences here. Perhaps my experience was different given my situation. I have history of terrible sinus/lung problems due to infections. After years of seeing many doctors (lung, ENT, Allergist), having surgery to clear my sinuses and still having problems I finally saw Dr. Parker with the hopes that someone specializing in Immunology would be able to help. He immediately tested me for allergies and started me on a regimen of shots 2x per week. I was initially dismayed since I was under the impression my problems were beyond just allergies to cats, trees, and weeds. When I went back to him with a severe sinus infection he laid out his plan: He would prescribe me a round of antibiotics, if after a month I was still having this problem he would order some blood tests. One of the things he tested for was my Immunoglobulin (IG) levels. These came back abnormally low, indicating an immunodeficiency disorder called CVID. He says he had never diagnosed it before, but had a feeling with me due to my history of infections that don't respond to antibiotics. He took it upon himself to find necessary pharmacy and treatment center so that I could begin doing IG replacement therapy as soon as possible. All in all, I started seeing him in November 2015 and by February 2016 I was starting my treatments and haven't shown any signs of infection since. The care that Dr. Parker showed with me and his willingness to go above and beyond to ensure I was getting the necessary help really strengthened my positive view of him and his practice. He even referred me to an excellent general practitioner who I still go to now. The office staff is very nice, they make a point to learn peoples' names and remember faces; they even call me when I miss an allergy shot to make sure I'm ok. I recommend seeing Dr. Parker with any allergy/immunity issues as he and his network of doctors take great care to ensure the patient is on track to being healthy. read more

Horrible horrible doctor. He has no interest in learning to your concerns. He interrupted and talked down to me. My reason for seeing his is I have difficulty breathing after eating some meals and I was hoping to figure out what is triggering it. He said basically I'm allergic to the world so I shouldn't take any measures to avoid anything and instead just do allergy shots. If I asked any questions he immediately interrupted and pushed his agenda. I could hear him recording his notes in his office on each client and he goes through the same thing and same recommendations for everyone. No interest in listening. Incredibly rude. Told me that I could have an allergy topically and not internally but then said the prick test is the most reliable. When I asked how I could find out what I'm allergic to while ingesting he yelled at me "the prick test we are doing". I asked well you just said that I could have a topical allergy but not when ingested or vise versa so I'm just trying to understand. He just said this is the test and that "it's not possible to have an allergy to foods that cause difficulty breathing. They would only cause hives". So I asked why I have an epi-pen and have gone into anaphylaxis. He got angry and told me I just need to take the 6 medications he recommended and start "allergy vaccines". I asked for information on them. What they are? How they work? What is in them and he said he just gave me that. It was a sheet that had very minimal information about it that their office wrote out. One day I had a cough. A very bad cough with wheezing. 9 months later a friend of mine recommended me to see Dr Parker at this office. I pulled in and saw there was no parking and was told street parking is free and there are no regulations so I parked at the park right next to them there was over 15-20 open slots when I got there I walked in and was greeted by a wonderful lady named Amy, I have her my ID and information and was given a clip board to fill out some paperwork. After I was greeted with a nice smile by Sara, she took me in and did my vitals and asked me questions before the doctor saw me. They put me in a room waiting for the doctor and when he came in I felt better already. He gave me 1 on 1 time and made me feel special He ordered a Pulmonary Function Test and an Allergy Skin test for me Little did I know I have allergies. And it makes so much sense I would have never imagined myself being allergic to anything. I think everyone should get that checked it was the greatest experience I have ever had. HORRIBLE! A year ago I was diagnosed with Skeeter Syndrome, which is a severe allergic reaction to mosquito bites. It's been getting worse the last few months so it was time to seek further treatment. My PCP and and physicians I've seen in the ER have told me to see an allergist right away. Nothing I've been prescribed in the past has done anything to help and I fear my condition worsening. Dr. Parker walked in the room and didn't introduce himself or make eye contact. I told him my issue and the second I said 'mosquito' he immediately didn't wanna hear anymore. He said there was no such thing as an allergy to mosquitos which is an outright LIE, and that I have those reactions because I have sensitive skin... Are you kidding me?!!? My welts get as large as dinner plates, they ooze, are painful, I develop a fever and have widespread swelling of my lymph nodes. My reactions are so severe they've swollen up my entire face and I've missed entire weeks of work. I tried to show him pictures of the massive swelling and he said it's because I'm scratching them, which I absolutely DON'T do. I've scratched bites vigorously as a kid when I didn't have this problem and they never swelled like that. He had me sit there and scratch my skin HARD with my long nails to prove that it was sensitive because it got a little red....WHOSE SKIN WOULDN'T when scratched like that??? Unreal, he didn't care what I had to say. I know my condition is more rare than most allergies, but that's no excuse to play stupid and brush off my symptoms. That's tantamount to malpractice and I will be contacting my insurance to file a complaint. They shouldn't allow anyone else to waste their time seeing this Dr. read more

I am a travel nurse and needed an office that would let me continue getting my allergy shots while on assignment in the area. I was able to get in to Dr. Parkers office. I met once or twice with Dr Parker (to get set up as a new patient) and he was great. I had been on medications for my asthma for many years and he suggested trying to change my medications (with his supervision of course) and it worked! I was able to decrease the amount of medication I'm on so he knows his stuff. I also continued getting my allergy shots and the staff at the office were very kind. Would recommend! read more

Dr. Peter Parker and his associates wasted a lot of my time and money, and if I hadn't trusted my instincts it could've been a lot worse. I'm writing this review as a warning to others: go anywhere else. I went in for an allergy consultation a few years ago. I was given a skin test, and I knew something seemed off from the beginning. When they were reading it I thought they'd made a mistake. I asked if they'd missed one of the spots on my arm, just to play it safe, and I was told that wasn't one of the markings. After the test I was told I was very allergic to several kinds of plants, dogs, cats, oranges, milk, and a variety of other things. I eat dairy products with no discomfort or allergic reactions. The same goes for oranges. This just seemed strange to me. They gave me some nasal sprays to try and ultimately the saline spray was the only thing that had much of a benefit. This was the one good thing I learned from my multiple appointments. I later came in for another test where I was explicitly told I was allowed to take antihistamines (e.g. Claritin, in my case) beforehand. I confirmed because I thought this was odd, as I'd been told not to take antihistamines for a week prior to the test. When I came to see Dr. Parker for this test, he told me--after having me wait for almost an hour in the exam room--that he couldn't do the test because I took antihistamines. Even though this wasn't my error, I still had to pay for the appointment. He was especially rude that day and insisted my problem wasn't only allergies, but that I had a deviated septum. I've had an x-ray and CT scan, and both showed a tiny deviation. Both ENTs I've seen have said this is not a problem, but apparently actual evidence and two other doctors wasn't enough to convince Dr. Parker he was wrong. After I finally got the last test, they wanted to sign me up for the long process of getting allergy shots. With my co-pay, they said it would cost $40 a session and would total 50 sessions. (That's $2,000 if you don't feel like doing the math.) I said I'd have to think about it, as that's very expensive. Then they told me that if I didn't go through insurance they'd only charge me $30. So why not mention that in the beginning? Clearly they wanted to get more money. I decided not to go through with it, as I didn't trust them. Weeks later I found out my copay was actually $30, not $40, and they'd been overcharging me. To this day I still haven't gotten the money back that I overpaid. It's been over two years now. My health insurance wasn't great and this September (2014) I was able to switch to a better plan that would let me choose my allergist. I went to Dr. Marion Johnson, who was exceptional, and requested to have an allergy blood test instead of a skin test. I just got my results this morning and found out I have no allergies at all. I tested positive for absolutely nothing. So Dr. Parker not only tried to scam me with the allergy shots, but also got EVERYTHING WRONG. Do not waste your time and money on this doctor. He is terrible, and had I gone through with the shots I could've wound up with problems when I had none in the first place. I'm still not sure what's wrong with me, but I'm glad I found a doctor who is kind and helpful so we can get to the bottom of the problem. Dr. Marion Johnson was so much better and more detailed. I can't imagine anyone worse than Dr. Parker at this point, so you're probably safer just picking someone else out of a hat. But if you're close to downtown I'd recommend Dr. Johnson instead. read more

I would give no stars if that were possible. I have no idea how this is actually a medical clinic. I do not even know if the place is up to standard codes. The front staff is beyond rude as is the doctor. All the reviews with the one star are correct and everything they were saying. The doctor is condescending , rude and unhelpful. Is it even legal for him to be a doctor with the manner he has? Even though he is the only allergist covered by my insurance I stopped going because he was so bad. I will never step foot in there again. If you can go to another Allergist please do. If you're the kind of person that would take your brand new Mercedes to the junkyard for your uncle Sal's cousin's friend to fix it for 20 bucks then please go to this doctor. If you have any standards at all and your Insurance has other Allergist please go there instead. If he is the only one demand a second opinion. Insurances are obligated to provide you with a second opinion Allergist. I am sure now that somebody will write a review with four stars to try to balance this real review. I scheduled an appointment for allergy testing, telling the woman on the phone that I'd had hives for almost a month and that antihistamines weren't working. When I got there, I waited nearly an hour without any acknowledgment of or apology that I'd been waiting for so long, and, in the meantime, the woman at the desk (who still had my insurance card and was supposed to be verifying my insurance coverage) was taking personal calls and texting on her cell phone. When I finally asked what was going on, she said she couldn't verify my insurance, so I took the phone to talk to the insurance company myself and realized that she'd called the wrong number. I have a student insurance plan and my card very clearly lists the phone number for providers to call, but she ignored this and called whatever number the office had on file, even though it's well known that student insurance often operates completely separately from "regular" insurance divisions. So now, an hour past my appointment time, I'm just going through intake and checked in by a nurse and being asked a bunch of questions about my history and current condition. I am then left waiting in this room for a while before they move me to another room so they can do intake for another patient and then I'm moved back into the original room so the doctor can see another patient who arrived after me and then eventually I'm moved back into the second room to wait yet another bit of time until the doctor is ready to see me. Finally, an hour and forty-five minutes after my scheduled appointment time, the doctor comes in and asks me 'how are you?' I tell him that I'm pretty frustrated because I've been waiting such a long time. He doesn't react or respond to this and then asks 'so why are we here today?' What was the point of me going through my patient history and current issues with the nurse if he wasn't even going to look at it before coming to talk to me? When I point out my hives to him, he says 'those aren't hives, those are scars' as if he knows more about my condition than I do, and then starts talking about referring me to a dermatologist and completely disregarding the issue at hand. When I attempt to redirect him back to the hives issue, he tells me to calm down. If I hadn't been so desperate to deal with this issue, I would have walked out right then. Soon enough, I find out that I can't even get the allergy tests done because I'd been taking antihistamines and the hives were currently active. I express to him that I wish I'd been told that before driving an hour to his clinic just to wait nearly two hours to be told that he can't do anything for me, and I ask him why the woman I'd scheduled my appointment with hadn't told me about these allergy testing restrictions. He said that there's no reason for them to have known. So not only was there no apology for my wait time and for having wasted my time, but my frustrations were completely invalidated by him. If you are someone in charge of scheduling appointments at an allergy clinic, where people often get allergy testing done, there is absolutely a reason for you to know that you should give patients a heads up that testing cannot be done if they have taken antihistamines or had an active allergic reaction! Eventually, he starts writing a prescription for an epi-pen for me and walks me through how and when to administer it. Because my job involves teaching people how to use epi-pens, I know that 1) my condition does not require an epi-pen, 2) that epi-pens cost about $700, and 3) that if you administer an epi-pen, you must to go to the ER immediately. However, the doctor acknowledged and addressed none of this. He said nothing about needing to go the ER and had no clue how much an epi-pen ends up costing patients. (I'm really thankful that I knew this before, because if I didn't I would have ended up inappropriately self-administering a large dose of epinephrine and wasting that $700 and would have had to go to the ER and pay probably a few thousand dollars for that and then I would have been in the exact position I was in leaving the clinic) And on top of the epi-pen prescription, he told me to take antihistamines, completely ignoring the fact that I'd told him that antihistamines were not working. I ended up leaving the clinic having wasted three hours of my day and in the same position I'd been with my condition when I walked in. The first doctor I went to after Dr. Parker knew immediately what my condition was and how to treat it. He mentioned that it's a very common condition and was shocked when I told him about my experience with Dr. Parker and that I'd been prescribed an epi-pen. Based on my experience at this clinic, Dr. Parker and his staff are rude, inconsiderate, and clearly do not have the knowledge that should be expected of people that work in this field. read more

Arrogant. Condescending. Impersonal. Dr. Parker is not a doctor; he is a biology textbook. I don't write Yelp reviews, but this is a special case. My son received allergy shots some time ago and had some adverse reactions which I thought might be connected to the shots. On December 28th, 2017, I scheduled an appointment to speak with Dr. Parker regarding my son's medical condition. I came for his opinion. I began trying to explain my son's entire medical history in order to present the big picture, but he became impatient and hostile, cutting me off repeatedly: "What is your question? Come on, get to the point! What is your question?" It's not possible to ask a question without explaining the entire situation. I walked out frustrated and confused, but I did not want to post a negative review, because people are human. He may have been having a bad day, or he may have been stressed out that particular time, so I decided to let it go and not post anything. Just yesterday, however, I called the insurance company on a completely unrelated matter and found out that he charged my insurance company $160 for that visit--to be absolutely clear, Dr. Parker did no procedures that day, no tests--absolutely nothing (my only interaction with him that day was a frustrating 5-10 minute conversation, which I could have gotten for free simply by a reading a medical textbook). He is deceptive and has absolutely no interest in his patients. I cannot simply let this go and I have to write something now. I called my insurance and complained to them about the charges; they promised to clear the charges. After treating us this rudely, Dr. Parker had the audacity to bill the insurance $160 for nothing. You're a doctor, and I'm your patient--show some compassion and integrity when dealing with people in need. People are not biology worksheets that you fill out and then forget. Want to hear something completely disgusting and totally insane?! Unless you have a life threatening pulmonary condition, don't go here because it's not only a complete waste of time--it will drain your bank account even if you HAVE insurance and he's an in-network doctor!!! I have Cigna Consumer Choice, through my job. I very rarely go to the doctors but with is less than a mile from his Glendale office I thought it would be convenient, and with him being in my network, I'll just stop by to get a 15 min skin allergy test to finally see what I'm allergic to because I was having some reactions since I moved from the east coast to west coast. Little did I know, I'm allergic to 59 of the 62 things he tested for..great, now what? Oh that's right..absolutely nothing!!!! Other than a two year treatment and thousands of dollars to possibly TRY (key word here) and treat your allergies. Great, so l left the office thinking that was a waste of my time BUT at least I'll know what I'm allergic to. Before I left, I asked the woman at the desk to please give me the list of allergic substances and give me info on cost for treatment plan. I also asked if there was a copay, she said no, that they will send me a bill to my mailing address..ok I thought that was a little weird. She said she was busy and would email it and had me write my email and name down on a post-it. Then a week later, nothing. I called again, she said she would do it right then..nothing. I called the two days later asking for it and finally they sent the allergy list but no costs..whatever, prob can't afford the treatment anyway. Now,like two months later I get a bill in the mail from them saying I OWE $833!!!!!!!!!!! For what?!?! If I knew it was anything CLOSE to that price for an in-network doctor I would NEVER have gone to get testing for something that there's 1. no life threatening condition and 2. No solution to help and 3. Be a waste of time and money!! Nice guy, don't get me wrong there..BUT He also prescribed me medication that was $150 copay, which the pharmacist even said "um yeah, I wouldn't personally pay that if I were you..Get this x, for $20 over the counter, it does the same thing" he also prescribed me medication that would be a $60 monthly cost if I were to use an inhaler, which I don't believe in again unless you're life threatening condition depends on it which you would know if you needed it before u even went in for a visit. I really wish I'd have checked yelp before going to this "doctor." I wasted so much time and money and was only met with frigid, unhelpful answers about my nasal allergies. For example: "Today is worse than ever for me. Is there something that has bloomed or a higher count of something in the air today?"- "It's Los Angeles. Probably hundred things bloomed."
