My husband and I have been flipping homes for years, and they've been our go-to for every flooring project--always reliable, always thoughtful, and genuinely great to work with. They've helped us create custom stain colors to match our design vision, and the end result is always beautiful. My husband's a general contractor and extremely particular when it comes to craftsmanship, and even he looks forward to partnering with them. Over the years, we've had the pleasure of working closely with Joe Ronzani, and his dedication to the craft is second to none. He's incredibly knowledgeable, hardworking, and brings a level of care and attention to detail that's hard to find. Whether it's troubleshooting a complex install, helping us land on the perfect finish, or just showing up with a great attitude, Joe truly goes above and beyond. It's been a privilege to work with Ronzani Hardwood Floors on so many of our projects--and even more special to see Joe carry forward the legacy of quality and pride the business is known for.

It ran an little bit over 10,000.00 dollars. Jamie was a very nice man and did very good work, the only problem was that he talked so much ,that he didn't really listen to the details. I originally told him to fix anything he saw that was bad and that i would pay him for it. When the floor was done it looked great except one spot by the kitchen that was like a sink hole. I asked him about it and he told me that it should have been shimmed. he ended up shimming it but it coat me an extra 500.00 because he has to take it back apart. ( strike one ). When it was finished it looked great. but after a few days I noticed that the stairs he did which cost me 900.00 was squeaking and loose. ( strike two ) I contacted Jamie and he said that he would take care of it in a few months because he was busy and I wasn't in a big hurry. After a few month I contacted him again and he told me that he was sick and that his son Joe would fix it but it would cost my 500.00 in labor and that I would have to buy my own stairs. I didn't think that was fair so I hired another person to replace the four stairs at 850.00 ( parts and Labor ). As time went on , I noticed the there was a problem with the floor. a lot of slats were high and low . I contacted Jamie, but unfortunately he passed away . His son Joe took over the business and told me that he would warranty all of the problems. I thought that was great. He came over and saw the problem and told me that he would come back and nail down all the hight slats. He did that but a few days later it was just as bad again. This time he went under the house and noticed that when he nailed the new floor down , he missed the board and the nails was not supported the floor. ( strike three ) He came out and re nailed the whole kitchen floor and the small hallway, sanded the floor and re stained it. He also did a repair in the dinning room. After he was done I noticed that the color was completely wrong. Joe went home to looked up the stain that his dad made and told me that he used a different brand of stain which was more brown than red. He re stained the patch job in the dinning room but refused to re do the kitchen unless I pay him 1500.00 for labor, I explained to him that he stained it the wrong color and I shouldn't have to pay for his mistake. He still refused to warranty is mistake. I have two different color floors now. Now I need to hire another floor person to correct Joe's screw up. Think about that , If you hired me to paint you house Blue and I painted it brown, would it be fair for me to charge you again to paint your house the color you originally wanted ? NO WAY !!! Joe's work is nothing like his fathers and he will end up destroying his fathers reputation. It's really hard to find people that care about their work now a days. I would definitely NOT recommend using Ronzani Hardwood flooring now that Joe is running the business.

I informed them of the issue and it took months to remedy. They tried sewing the pieces together but I wasn't happy with the visible seam, so they gave me the options of a refund or choosing another remnant. I expressed that I didn't want to use more time coming back to the store to choose another carpet- I had been to the store 4 times at that point, including dropping it off once I realized it was cut improperly, and another time to view how it looked sewed together. Then they offered to find the same rug at their San Carlos location, which I would have appreciated more had they been proactive. I followed up with the salesperson (Gregory) several times with no response until I finally reached a manager who told me it was cut and would be delivered from the San Carlos store the following week. I had to continually chase down updates until I reached another store manager who had no clue about my order. I finally was able to get my issue escalated to the general manager who notified me the carpet had never been cut or transported. I asked for some type of compensation to make up for the terrible experience and got no response, but he did end up providing delivery and installation for free. The only positive process of this entire process was the delivery and installation (thanks to those two men whose names I didn't catch). I made my purchase on April 1, let them know about the incorrect cut on April 23, and it wasn't remedied until June 11. Major headache!! I had planned to purchase another custom rug from them but now I'm too turned off to do business with them.
