Alexis Murray is the BEST. She is very attentive, lets you fully explain yourself & your concerns, speaks to you so respectfully, doesn't gaslight you & tries to see things your way so that she can better understand you, & she respects your personal beliefs, & does not come off judgmental nor does she make you feel stupid. Lately we have been going to see Alexis Murray for my son almost once monthly. She is always so patient and detailed with us. She explains herself very well & lets us as parents feel safe enough to ask her many questions & figure out how to go about things in regard to my son's health. She also is so reassuring and makes us feel safe!!! She is a gem there. Astrid is a medical assistant there at Primary Medical and she was also very attentive with son. She made him feel very comfortable and made him laugh. When you have little kids all the little things matter & when they take the extra steps to make sure your child is comfortable it puts us as parents at ease. I, myself have also been seen by Alexis Murray & can attest to a great bedside manner. All in all, I am super happy that my whole family goes to Primary Medical in Oxnard. Usually doctors offices feel like factories it's so busy, big in and out seeing patients but here is complete opposite !! The girls at the front and back are always so welcoming and so sweet. The wait times are fast, you're not waiting 30 min to an hour to be seen, if anything maybe 15 minutes most. When they make you an appointment that really means, making you that appointment time! The office and patient rooms are always so clean and organized, it makes you feel very comfortable and calm knowing you're in a clean facility. Not to mention it's in a great location in my eyes, it's easily accessible off the freeway and in a beautiful area and easy parking. It's not crowded or chaotic. Very nice location to visit. Shoutout to NP Lori Sikorra and MA Alicia, every single time I come they are both so sweet, awesome communication and so helpful! MA Alicia always makes great conversation and so friendly and welcoming when you are brought back to the patient room. Lori Sikorra is the absolute BEST! He didn't rush through appointments or give me the same generic answers I'd heard before. He took the time to figure out what my body actually needed. Everyone is highly professional, competent, and are courteous all the while providing excellent care. Dr Ragsdale herself, is a conscientious and highly skilled, (if not "gifted") surgeon and goes "above and beyond" to ensure that all of my needs are met. I simply cannot say enough about this positive experience! A brand new knee, a fabulous Dr. and staff....what's not to love! I have always found this facility clean and quite busy; preferring early am appointments as the wait time is less. The staff at the front desk (check-in) are not overly chatty or friendly, but are very competent and attentive. I have always received a courtesy/reminder call one day prior to my appointments.

They were able to get me in next day with a nurse practitioner, Tessa. She was great! Went over my symptoms, prescribed me a Zpack and I was better.
