If you want a true, honest, caring, kind NORMAL DOCTOR, DO NOT GO HERE!!! This is my 2nd time seeing "allegedly" Dr. Alex who is EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL, HAS NO CONCERN for you or your health. He's rude and has no credentials listed, refused to tell me where he went to medical school and treated me with the most disrespect. I'm almost 60 years old and don't need this harassment.

After giving birth to my son, who is now 9, (Northridge Family Practice) back then, wasn't taking my insurance after I had my son, so I was without a doctor for a long time. I was so excited and happy when I confirmed they were now within my health insurance network. I immediately made an appointment and can I say, Dr. Zapata has not changed one bit, she's still as professional as she was 10 yrs ago, very nice, answers questions, listens and makes you feel so comfortable I feel like she's known me for a lifetime and always makes you/ patient feel like she's your friend. It's not easy to find a doctor that makes you feel comfortable and takes the time to listen. Most doctors I've dealt with rush you out, dismiss your concerns and are so rude but not Dr. Zapata she's awesome. I'm just glad and blessed to be under her care once again.

She listens, takes copious notes, follows up from prior appointments, and makes sure there's a plan of action. I also understand she's the mentor to the less experienced doctors in the clinic. In fact, the last time we were there - an unexpected visit, which meant we had to see a different doctor - the other doctor, out of the blue, started telling us what a wonderful physician she is and how much he's learned from training with her. We've successfully taken care of some issues that have bothered me for years that others doctors couldn't seen to fix (not even a little). Staff is awesome and caring. And if you're ever in and don't feel well, you will get called back just checking in to make sure you are doing ok. I love them. Now for the downside...it can take a VERY long time to get your first appointment. He does this so he has time for his current patients. So my advice is call in now to put your name on the list.
