They are not taking new patients at the moment, which is completely understandable considering the current circumstances. However, I was assigned to this office for my primary doctor so I stopped by to inquire about the process of getting a referral to another doctor. An older woman opened the door, barely which is also understandable considering the current circumstances, yet she was extremely short and rude with me. She was not helpful and treated me like I was bothering her. I will be calling my insurance company to change my primary doctor and I advise no one to use this office as the customer service aspect is clearly lacking. read more

We have known and been seeing Dr. Josephson since 1990. He is a wonderful doctor and a very caring human being. He takes his time to speak with you and he listens to your concerns. We have always had an excellent experience when going to his office. His staff is nice and very helpful too. When my son was old enough to transition from a pediatrician, I did not hesitate to have him become my son's doctor too. We are very blessed to know him and to have him as our family physician. dr josephson is one of few left of a dying breed, a single doctor practice. quite literally, my previous pcp, another single doc practitioner, past away. dr jo runs a small office, just him, his wife, who is the nurse prac, and a front office lady. they are friendly, knowledgeble and professional. the office is clean and well-apportioned. he runs late for his appointments, but that is not a bad thing, it is because he takes time with his patients. he accepts medicare, tho i am not sure if he is accepting new medicare patients. dont blame him, blame medicare for continuing to reduce the capitation rate. if you dont know what that is, look it up. that rate is now a fraction of what it was just 5yrs ago and costs have only moved in the opposite direction. if you can get in here, do! he and his family/staff are the best. my only fear is that he will retire before i die. the latter is a truth told in jest. read more

I do not yelp negative unless want to warn people of bad business practice. Dishonest ! Becareful for Medical Bills that you may end up paying even you have a Gold Coverage. At the time of visit, their staff checked the PPO insurance and I was assured that I will be covered by my Blue Cross PPO Plan. After 2.5 years later, I received a bill for $995. According to his billing ,Insurance denied the claim and it is my responsibility to pay that amount. They insisted that it is my responsibility to pay even though, I paid $1,500.00 insurance premium per month. I contacted Blue Cross and they confirmed that he was not part of my PPO plan. Their bill is 4 times more than cash patient. I didn't know what to do. I appealed to BlueCross, fortunately they agreed to pay $285.00. The same thing happened to my Sister. After 3 visits, he was fired because of Long waiting period, unprofessional manner by his staff, several interruption during exam , calls were not returned, test result was impossible to obtain..... read more

Two years ago, Dr. Josephson was the attending physician at the Rinaldi Convalescent Hospital where my mother was recuperating after a bad fall and surgery for a broken hip. She was very impressed by his bedside manner and started seeing him as her primary care physician after she recovered. She would always comment on how caring he was to his patients and staff. A week ago, my brother broke his leg and Dr. Josephson was the attending physician at Holy Cross hospital. I finally got to meet Dr. Josephson and I too was impressed by his concern for the welfare of his patients. He took the time to reassure my mother that my brother was getting good care and would recover quickly. I was impressed by this, since most doctors seem to be overbooked and on too tight a schedule to converse with patients. His office also provided us with a letter so that my brother would qualify for temporary van services with wheelchair access, which will be very helpful. Kudos to Dr. Josephson (and Dr. Etehad and staff) for providing excellent care and personal service. read more

After a 2 hour wait in a stuffy cramped office I saw Dr Josephson and he said I had the flu and to go home and rest even though I had a temperature of 103. I started to get really sick and went to the ER. I was diagnosed with meningitis. Dr Josephson did the least he had to do and send me home. If you want to sit around for an hour before anyone sees you, this is your doctor. I called and made an appointment for a 2:30PM. I put it on my phone so I wouldn't forget. I showed up at 2:15 as they always want you there 15 min early. At 2:30 I told the lady behind the desk I had a 2:30 appointment, she told me that I was wrong and it was for 2:45, fine. At 2:45 they call me up to get a copy of Lic and medical insurance card, have me fill out some papers and than don't even bother making eye contact. I noticed people that arrived after me, went in. Now it's possible they had an earlier appt, but if they got there late, should I be pushed back? finally at 3:15 I went and told the lady behind the desk that I was going to leave, that's when she said we are preping a room for you. Sure, 30min after my "2:45" appt the are finally getting a room ready. They even let some lady that was pitching some new drug to see him ahead of me. I can't say much about the doctor himself as I never saw him, but the staff is lazy and seems to not really care about the patients in the waiting room. read more
