In fact, the doctors are excellent, caring, and highly professional. That is exactly why it is so disappointing that the overall experience with this medical office is being negatively affected by the front desk. I also want to specifically recognize First DiaMed Pharmacy. Their staff have been incredibly helpful, responsive, and professional throughout this situation. They have repeatedly tried to help me and have contacted the medical office themselves in an effort to resolve the issue. The pharmacy is absolutely not responsible for this situation. My issue has now been going on for approximately three months and involves obtaining my prescribed medication. The main problem has been the front desk. It is extremely difficult to reach the office by phone, and when I am finally able to speak with someone, the communication is often very rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. Even more frustrating, I receive a different explanation almost every time I contact the front desk. I have repeatedly been told that everything has already been sent and that I simply need to wait, while the pharmacy continues to inform me that they are still waiting for the necessary response or action from the medical office. Both the pharmacy and I have made repeated attempts to resolve this, yet after nearly three months, the issue remains unresolved. Again, this review is not a complaint about the doctors or the pharmacy. My complaint is specifically about the front desk, the way patients are treated, the difficulty reaching the office, the inconsistent information being provided, and the failure to properly resolve an ongoing medication-related issue. I am posting this review as my final attempt to bring this situation to the attention of office management and have it resolved without further escalation. If the medication issue remains unresolved, unfortunately my next step will be to document the complete history of my attempts to obtain assistance and submit a formal complaint to the appropriate regulatory and oversight authorities. I sincerely hope management takes a serious look at how the front desk is being operated. Excellent doctors should not receive negative reviews because of unprofessional administrative service at the front desk.

I was told to call his office and when I did, was told he had left on vacation and to contact the Hospital I had been in. When you're really sick and dependant on someone else to help you... it's scary. Dr. Terrazzino made me feel at ease in the hospital, but afterward, not being able to get the prescriptions needed made me feel scared and alone. At this point, it's almost laughable! Appointments (especially with any specialists) are now booked four months or more out. I scheduled a first-time consultation with Dr. Sofia Avitia for 12/26/2025. I made this appointment back in September! Then, on Wednesday 11/26 I received a call in the afternoon informing me that the doctor would not be available on 12/26 and that I would need call to reschedule. When I called them back on Monday 12/1 after returning home Thanksgiving vacation, I was told the next available appointment was March 6th!!! Keep in mind, I'm seeking this appointment because I'm having swallowing issues. So after scheduling in September, I now cannot be seen until March, which comes out to reaching a six-month window. This is exactly why I say the scheduling situation has almost become laughable and completely unacceptable. I went ahead and grabbed the March 6 appointment just in case I cannot find another doctor sooner, but given my symptoms, I have no choice but to search for someone who can see me within a reasonable amount of time. Considering the inconvenience, I expected at least some level of priority, but instead I felt like I was treated as if I were calling to make an initial appointment all over again. What is really going on at Facey? It is now almost impossible to make any appointment at a reasonable time. I honestly believe they will soon reach a six month scheduling window, which is crazy.
