I wanna give this place a 3.5, but can't. I am also half greek so I grew up with greek food. I ordered spinach pie/spanakopita, pork souvlaki and gyro. Spinach pie: It was only ok, not sure if it was missing dill or something, but it tasted bland compared to other spanakopitas i have had at other places. Pork souvlaki: it was good, nice and tender and juicy with good flavor, the lemon potatoes were not bad. Gyro: It wasn't the best gyro meat i had, but wasn't the worst. It was a little more on the dry side, but wasn't bad. Overall: If you are in the area and want greek food,get their pork souvlaki. read more

This is some of the best falafel I've ever had. I got a falafel wrap and it was delicious. All of the flavors from the hummus, tahini, falafel, and fresh veggies were insanely good. The best chicken Gyro I've ever had! This chicken was so soft and juicy. I genuinely grew up in queens eating Greek food my entire life, and none have been as delicious as this location. We loved everything that we ordered, including the rice, grapeseed leaves, salad, and a couple other items. The prices were also fantastic. Definitely competitive in the area. I love this place so much but will not be ordering from them again. I normally order online but the website wasn't allowing me to place the order so I called him. A nice guy answered the phone and took my order. I hung up and I forgot to tell him that I wanted the meat on the side so I called back and asked could I have the meat aside but it was another guy who answered the phone. I ordered several times in summer and fall 2024 and found it fantastic. This allowed us to trust them to cater our one year old's birthday and everyone raved about the food. They simply had the BEST chicken gyro I have had in 25 years of eating it. Unfortunately, today in late January we ordered again and there was a very significant lowered quality. The chicken was fried, the fries boiled, the lemon potatoes were overcooked, and the salad fixings were old and worn out...any older it would be rotting. I hope it was a day off. Love this place. My only complaint is that it is not in my neighborhood. If it was nearby I would be eating there several times a week. The food is excellent as you can tell by all the cars outside waiting for pickup. Great taste, great pricing very nice people working there. But they didn't need my review they're doing just fine in their cubbyhole in a strip of stores with parking spaces that are too tight. But who cares?! It's about the food, right?! And a Pete's has the goods. I've only had their kebabs, souvlaki & Avgolemono soup. That dayum soup!!! It's addictive! It's the perfect consistency. Not too thick and not too thin. Just lemony enough to make the shreds of chicken sing! My Kebabs & Souvlaki have always been flavorful with plenty of meat versus veggies on the souvlaki. Not too much sauce.
