Picked him up 2 hours later and they shaved him... Then had the audacity to tell me he's not much shorter... Called them and was pretty upset. Guy I spoke with said he would refund the money and I wasn't allowed back. Oh no! You mean I can't come back to a groomer that doesn't listen?? I think I'll be okay.. I'd rather drive 45 minutes than this place 2 minutes from my house..

I understand that this is part of the risk of doggy day care, however, what is concerning to me is the lack of attention to the fact that my dog was bit. They didn't even know he got bit, I pointed out because I noticed it when I got home. I called back and the younger girl (the receptionist) said she didn't think it happened on her shift and would ask and call me back. No follow up was given. I emailed the facility with pictures and video and NO follow up, no email back. Luckily my dog did have a dental scheduled with his vet the next day so my vet did look at it, she did say that it was pretty deep but thankfully is already healing. My dog has a scar from this now, and a cowlick in the area where the injury was. If I place my dog in your care, I would expect some sort of communication or even acknowledgment of injury. There was none. I haven't been back since, and this was a few months ago.

We initially thought we'd foster her for adoption due to her dog aggression issues. After working with Travis, we decided togive Rosie a forever home ourselves. We brought Travis in to privately train her so she didn't have to deal with the stress of a group setting and because we wanted a tailored training program. With Lone Star Dog Training, we received an excellent job. Travis educated us about how training is important and what results he felt we could see. Over the course of 4 months, Rosie went from being aggressive toward our other dogs to feeling safe and comfortable with them. She's even adopted our 12 year old border terrier as her sister. Rosie has progressed from a frightened stray who did not wag her tail or understand how to take affection, to bounding and leaping with joy when she sees her people. She now seeks out our affections and looks forward to spending time with us. If not for Lone Star Dog Training, we would not have decided to keep her. Of course all dog parents always worry about our beloved pets. And for us it was the same especially since our dog needed to have their insulin shots at the scheduled times and luckily Barkway Resort took care of it! There was a variety of play areas for our beloved pets to play and hangout. And I really liked how they had a VIP section for a more quieter space so my dog could become his introverted ways after playing with the other dogs (both are extra costs) but I'm glad we did it. Unfortunately the cameras in the VIP were disabled for the 5 night stays we had our dog there. They mentioned they had someone who is trying to fix it but it was never turned on during our stay there in April. Because of this, we requested photos of each day of our dog just to know he was taken care of since the cameras were down and the staff provided that!

This company is a scam. You pay a ton of money for a three hour consultation to tell you to growl…read moreand spray water on your dog. That's it. Oh and they send you newsletters that you can find for free online to tell you to continue to growl and grunt at your dog and show them you are the pack leader. 1,700 dollars for that. We were HAPPILY surprised to hear back from Bob and within a few short hours, Diesel is HAPPILY going out with us to the back yard. You'll get plenty of support you need along the way as long as you'll ask for it. I text Michael, sometimes daily, all my questions and concerns regarding the training, and I've never been left without an answer! He'll also provide a ton of materials (videos, books, articles) you need to familiarize yourself with to set you up for success. Me and my dogs are working on solving the fence fighting issue, and so far one of them is actually responsive to my efforts. When I reached out to Michael I didn't think that much can be done, but now I see a light at the end of a very, very long tunnel :). All our sessions have been online so far, as few days before our first scheduled meeting the stay at home order was placed. Online conference worked just as well for us, and we didn't have to delay the training any longer. A recent addition- online "support group" where his customers can share ideas and chat is a great idea too! Overall, I couldn't be happier with the decision to work with Michael.

Playtime was not fun for us because he would get too worked up and end up with what I called a "zoomy meltdown", which involved a lot of jumping and nipping. Michael taught us to recognize the signs before he got out of control and helped us to keep OUR stress level down and redirect his energy. Finn is much more relaxed now, around us and guests. Thanks to the training, we have an energetic sweet boy instead of a lot of stress and worry.

My dog was in severe pain and it took quite some time for them to provide her with pain relief. Secondly, they aren't able to read x-rays there but they aren't upfront in telling you this information therefore the wait time is long. When I asked if she would call me with the x-ray information her response was very curt and said, I'll call you once and if you don't pick up I won't call you again. Not only do her notes say that she called, she didn't leave a message nor did she call. The vet tech is amazing and very helpful, unfortunately I can't say the same for all of the staff. I was very disappointed with the level of care provided by the Vet.

Our trainer, Monica, was excellent with Daisy and what I loved most about her was that she would explain to us how she was training our dog and also why she would do something a certain way. A lot of times she would comment about how this reinforces some sort of behavior or would boost Daisy's confidence, etc. At one point of our training Daisy didn't take well to the previous lesson (down lesson) and Daisy wasn't receptive to the next training session and was extremely nervous and jittery. Monica picked up on this right away and instead of just charging through, took a step back to assess the situation and told us that this lesson would be free since Daisy wasn't herself and even considered bringing another trainer in. We were extremely appreciative of this gesture and found it to be very considerate and professional. We were a little nervous starting out the training because Daisy is an extremely sensitive and submissive dog, but at the end of the training (which was today) her confidence levels are much higher and she seems to be a much happier dog!!! Daisy is far from perfect but her discipline and manners are getting better every day and we love seeing her progress and growth. We highly recommend Off Leash K9 Training. We did a ton of research and even met with other companies but we could not have been happier with our choice.
