When I picked him up the charge was $10 more a night than usual and it was not communicated to me that the fees went up. I was also very confused about the name change and new staff, as it was not communicated to me about price change, name change, or staff change. My dog came home sick with kennel cough and as the next few days passed his cough got significantly worse. He started to really scare me with his cough as this was the first time in 9.5 years my dog has ever been sick. After a call with the manager Brooklyn I was left feeling disgruntled and taken advantage of with the entire change and my dog coming home sick. I spend $187 at the vet for meds. I called back to give them an opportunity to make it right and she was kinder this time on the phone but did not make it right. She also told me they are under the same ownership and management even though public record states different. For someone who comes often and always treats everyone in there with kindness and respect I do not feel that they made it right. It would have been nice to have atleast one night credited to my account but instead all they did was credit me $20 for the non communication about the overcharge and new pricing. Just know if your animal comes home sick, you will be responsible for the entire bill with no financial empathy from management. The front desk girl at the Jones location is the sweetest ever. She gives 100000% amazing customer service and should be in charge of guest recovery going forward.

When I left him there I just walked over to the cashier at Pet smart to pay for the grooming and showed my receipt when I picked him up. It was easy peasy. If it's your first visit they give you a discount. That was cool! When I picked him up he looked pretty and smelled fresh and fruity. I also love to shop at Petsmart because they have a variety of supplies. I enjoy the pet costumes collars and harnesses. They carry crates and beds and bunny supplies and reptile supplies as well. All the things. There is always something on sale. They have a pet hotel, too. I recommend this store. Check it out!

I wanted a trainer who leaned toward positive reinforcement but also understood that every dog is different and sometimes you need to use different techniques depending on the situation. I originally wanted to do group classes but was nervous about being around a bunch of dogs and owners who weren't prepared. I really liked that Positive Changes has you do private training first, which made me feel SO much more comfortable going into my first group class. My anxiety was definitely higher than my dog's, and he ended up going great! Bobby is extremely knowledgeable and does a great job explaining things in a way that actually makes sense. He even used analogies related to my everyday life that helped things really click for me. The biggest thing I've learned is that training takes consistency and work at home, but when you actually practice what Bobby teaches, you can really see the results. I'm so happy with the progress Stix has made, and after being so picky about finding the right trainer, I can confidently say I found him. During the training, we focused heavily on "place" and learning how to use the e-collar. While our dog did pick up the basics, he unfortunately continues to struggle with reactivity and aggression even after the sessions ended. As first-time dog owners, we were hoping for more hands-on guidance. Much of each session involved conversation and verbal instruction, but we didn't feel we were shown the techniques in enough detail or given sufficient practice with our dog to feel confident applying them on our own--especially given his specific behavioral challenges. Bobby is very personable and clearly knowledgeable, but we were hoping for more direct interaction with our dog during the sessions. After training ended, we reached out about the ongoing issues, and while Bobby was able to fit us in for an additional session, it mainly revisited the same methods that hadn't necessarily been effective for us. I believe Bobby would be a great fit for dogs that are already fairly obedient and just need structure or refinement. However, for dogs with more serious behavioral concerns like aggression or resource guarding, this approach may not be the best match. Ultimately, we decided to pursue additional training elsewhere to better meet our dog's needs.

After 3 no notice cancellations (day of, within an hour of our scheduled session) he stated "he didn't know how he was supposed to task train a dog for PTSD anyways" and quit. We only received a partial, prorated refund (at a higher hourly rate) after threatening legal action against him. His only sessions repeatedly focused on having the dog walk with a shopping cart even after being specifically told that was not a priority for us. I regret working with Ira and losing thousands of dollars. Spend your money elsewhere.
