I love fishes, so we stopped by to get a look. There was a very nice man that works there who greeted us when we walked in. The fishes are to the left of the store and the animals for sale are to the right. As soon as we walked in I saw two kittens in the housing units. There was this black and white kitten named Blake and I just fell in love. I told my friend who was with me that he should adopt the kitten, lol. Then, we went to see the fishes. They had a lot of bettas and a lot of other fishes. The prices of the fish were reasonable. I love their GloFish tanks. They have tanks, accessories and fishes that actually glow. I would love a tank like that.

I happened to be passing by, and thought I'd stop by to see what this store has to offer. This location is not large, but it utilizes it's space well and packs a good variety of items you'd want to buy for your pet. Whenever I've stopped by this location, I don't usually find really discounted items (I think someone always buys them before I get there. I see the sale tags next to the empty shelf!). But I did learn this store will honor the ONLINE prices for it's website. I saved quite a bit today and also on past purchases by just price checking on the petco website before I make my purchase. And the cashier was friendly and helpful in acommodating me with the price checks for my items. I ended up getting my fur baby some cute feathery toys and a puzzle treat toy! My fur baby isn't affected by catnip. So I really did appreciate the wide variety of different toys this petco had to offer. And right now you can get Christmas themed toys! A little early, but who doesn't love Christmas? One thing I did notice is that this location does carry higher end cat and dog food. Just look for the refrigerated section. I can't comment on their grooming since that's a service I don't use. There is an adoption center at the end of the right side of the store if you're interested in adopting a sweet kitty or two. And there's ample parking right out front.

This is what $100 gets you for a paw trim (the only thing I asked to be trimmed) after having my dog for 5 hours. The last picture is after I took 5 minutes with literal cosmetic scissors to clean up this job. This just showcased to me that I have to go back to just grooming my own dogs, first and last time I will be using a Petco groomers.

Another great grooming session with Nico today for our Havoc! He got a bath, teethbrushing, nail trim and brush out! It's shedding season for our Havoc, and he already looks so much cooler. Took him in and his fur was looking kinda dingy from all the red dirt at the dog parks. He's all clean now! Love their online app for setting up grooming appts... it's so easy and they send reminders too which is always nice. Nico is well experienced with grooming huskies, and he's our go-to guy.

BROKE ME TO THE RIM! Took my 3 Maltese for their grooming today, my heart sunk when I seen my dog come out. I'm crying in tears because my dog had the most beautiful longest tail it took us 5 years to grow it. Every grooming we go too we always tell them don't touch their ears and their tails. I was so adamant about today as well saying the same exact things. Please don't touch their ears and their tails. But the outcome to this was the worst decision of our lives. This didn't happen only once this happened twice but at a different Petco. The first time was in Pearl highlands. Which is so messed up. That's the reason why I stressed to go to a different Petco in EWA explaining to them that please the pearl highland Petco cut my dogs private area & cut my little girls hair so short ! At pearl highlands I told the lady how short I wanted my little girl, that was her first time ever having a groom. Told her exactly what size I wanted her but she cut her so short she looked so skinny like a fricken twig I don't even know what to call her when we saw her. This is so heart breaking that you know your fur babies are like your child. & you give them to the people you thought you can trust but it seems they don't care. I don't ever wanna go back I'm so sad and scared to give my babies to anyone. Why is it so hard finding someone right that you can trust on this island. It just breaks my heart so much. They had the best groomer on big island for 5 years never had any trouble always was the best and accommodated us all the time, but moving to Oahu is one of the hardest finding someone we can trust

Good Petco with a line to get their dogs groomed so it must be good (note: I have not used their grooming services). There are always good deals on something in the store. Today there was a good deal on our dogs' food. They also offer you the opportunity to donate to help animals. That warms my heart as so many people want to do something but do not know how or where to start. If that's you, take advantage of the opportunity!

Hubby, daughter and myself came here to check out to see what we can get for the puppies. Our girl dog, Leia had 6 puppies and we just looked around to see what they had. This location seemed like a smaller store but carries everything you need for your dogs and cats. We were trying to look for odor deterrent spray for our rug but they ran out. The dogs seem to miss the puppy pad when they pee. We now have an extended family. We have two boys, a girl and her 6 babies. It takes lots of money to care for these dogs and puppies. Anyway a good store to shop at for your pet needs. Plenty of parking in front. We were greeted as we walk in the store. That's good customer service.

Came here to look at an animal to buy and spoke with one of the employees Tyler. He is very informative and knows each animal well. He told us his recommendations, how to take care of each animal like the turtles, birds, fish, guinea pig and so much more. He even stated different do's and dont's for each. He was very helpful and helped us make our decision on which animal to get. I would really recommend going to Tyler for questions and help. 7/9/19. Came back and got helped by Tyler and Charles. We decided to get a parakeet and named him Rio! Both were such a great help and will be asking for them when we come back for supplies and such for our new pet.

Little off the top. Of all the Petcos (I know you read those reviews), this is my favorite. I come here mostly for my dog's grooming needs but they have so much more. Pet food. I don't know which is better: fresh, dried, canned, baked, moist. There's a varieties of food. And if your dog, cat, rabbit, hamster, or what you call a pet doesn't like the food you can return it for a full refund. Just don't wait a couple of months and bring half a bag. Be reasonable and not someone who returns a Christmas tree at Costco after the holidays season. Toys. I don't know which is better: rubber, plastic, yarn, pull, stuff, long, round, colorful (wait aren't dogs color blind?), bumpy. Whatever, they are here. Cloths. I don't know which is better: around the neck, around the body, cover the butt, don't cover the butt, little boots (wait little boots?), wear a mask, wear a headband. Whatever, they are here. Pets. I don't know which is better: fish, birds, turtles, hamsters, (presently absent dogs and cats), or crickets. Wait I think the crickets are bait...........opps my bad :/ Whatever, they are here. Supplies. I don't know which is better: retractable leash, neon leash, studded collars, regular collars, scented poop bags, pooper scoopers (aka Beach shovel), fluffy beds, fluffy stands, etc. Whatever, they are here. Knowledge and caring. All the team members got it. I don't know which is better: walking you down to the correct aisle, listening to your concerns about the food, toy, or pet behavior. Helping you review a product or them offering suggestions on what you need to do. Whatever, they are here. Ooh yea and I almost forgot they groom here too. And granted my first time here they shaved my dog but he was matted and I quite didn't understand brushing would help but the pet stylist informed me how important it is and lucky I listened. I'm just hoping one day, I'll be here when they groom a snake. Whatever, presently snakes aren't getting groomed. Damn Covid took that away from me. FYI sign up for there rewards program for loyalty discounts. If military, your service discount will be automatically deducted. Overall four stars. They place animals first and and helpful in every way to your needs. Not quite five because they have a limited training schedule that seems to be always booked. Now excuse me, I'm going to check out that pooper scooper. M

Over priced, coupons don't work. Grooming is great. So sad it's too big, I like my little local owner pet store in old Ewa Beach. Sweet family that works and owns the store all together.

My Maltese has been to several different groomers before as we've had bad experiences either with not being able to schedule an appt or my puppy came back all shaken. Nico has been of great service and pays attention to detail. My dog's hair cut is always on point and her fur stays relatively soft and fluffy for weeks. I also like that appointments are scheduled in advance through an automated system and appointments reminders and confirmation are also automated via email and text. Also, social distancing is in full effect too which I appreciate. Even fur babies social distance too.

*update Manager contacted me completely apologetic and understanding. Will be refunding my money. Absolutely horrible grooming service! Only half shaved my cat and left a Mohawk and charged me $90+. Do NOT bring your cat here. They tried to act like that was a "cool style" when it was a complete butcher job.

Employees are super friendly and helpful. The store is packed with all the supplies you would need for your puppy. They also offer classes and grooming at this location. This store is pretty clean considering there are inconsiderate customers that leave their dogs poop and Pee in the store and don't clean up after themselves. This story offer doggie poop bags, paper towels and a disinfectant if you ever find yourself in this situation. And you can locate them all over the store. They will even help you clean up if you ask them.
