I brought my Puppy to get their nails clipped. I was greeted with you're early like it was an inconvenience. The male continued to wave me over to the "nail stand" . When the first clip happened my Puppy yelp and started bleeding. He started trying to stop bleeding and was very Nonchalant with concern I had. We went ahead and proceeded and then he muzzled my Puppy after I stopped the procedure. He sold me the powder to put on my puppies wound and I bought calming meds a treats to try and sooth my Pup. He ask me for a tip right before. I still spent over 50 plus dollars in total for a Disheartening experience. read more

I have been into that store before with my Standard Poodle and talked to the manager, a lady, about if they carried a specific type of dry dog food that is NOT readily accessible in most places. I was suprised when she said they carried DIAMOND dog food, and pleased. I did not need dog kibbles then, but figured when I got settled from moving, I would use their store. They also had a few adult cats up for adoption. My Standard Poodle loves all cats and does not understand if they do not like her back. She is never aggressive about wanting to say hello to the cat, but she does wag her tail and sit at my side. LATE YESREDAY afternoon I went back in there, several weeks after first going there, the lady manager(?) was not visiable, but a cashier with long brown hair was quite RUDE to me telling me "KEEP THAT DOG AWAY FROM THE CATS, THEY HATE DOGS." If I had an employee of mine ever talk that rudely to a customer, who was clearly VERY OFFENDED, i would fire that person on the spot......And YES, MANAGER LADY.......FIRE THE SUCKER. The pure nastiness in his voice made me NEVER to walk into that store again.....and I won't. R. Cameron A. Lickey read more

This store is still unorganized. I had an issue with them a couple months ago. Called and spoke to the corporate office. They said they just hired a "new" manager, and were working on fixing the issues. I tried ordering from them again, and the same thing happened. Order was paid for, but NOT delivered. Needless to say, I should never have given them a second chance. read more

Everyone is always so helpful and friendly when I am here. I feel like they offer a great variety of pet foods and products for all types of household animals - and we have a bunch in our home!!!! Even when the cricket supply is low at other stores around the city, they always seem to have some (all our lizards love to eat the crickets). They have a dog wash station as well. I've never used it - but it looks to be nice. Lots of parking out front. read more

Staff was very friendly. Had great specials. Their grooming area needs a serious facelift. The elevated tub has a "door" that doesn't stay on as it should. I watched it fall and spook a chihuahua. It fell when I bathed my dogs but they are well trained. The forced air dryer on my side did not have an attachment. And if you know anything about forced air dryers, the attachment is the most important thing. So took me twice as long to blow the dogs coat out- someone was using the other bath. The other bath is not really elevated and IMO they should put another elevated one in there. The hoses are preset temperate. Which is fine. They have a standard garden hose nozzle at the end, which turns on by using a THUMB lever. I usually love these but this nozzle was very difficult, I had to use two hands to turn off and on. read more

Great staff who are always welcoming & make theirselves available to help. Store is always clean too.

Love this pet store!! I had never been until recently and it will be my go to from now on. The dog bath area is so handy to wash my 60 lb dog - I did the 5 washes for $25 deal. Then when we left the cashier gave us a whole bag of samples for the cat and the dog - along with a frisbee, tennis ball, cup and a pen! Super friendly staff. Kobe was happy! read more

I was disgusted to see multiple fish tanks with PILES of dead fish in the corners. The fish tanks were all shoved so full of fish they had barely any room to swim. How is this okay??? One of the employees saw me taking pictures and didn't even care. They knew it was like that. I will be reporting this store to the BBB. read more

People take forever to answer the phone, then I was told they were closed? I think not, your website says 9. Maybe update your hours.

I have always had a very hard time finding a pet store that I felt could assist me in what my dogs needs are. The staff here is so amazing & they always take the time to help me find exactly what I'm looking for, with such great attitudes! read more

One of my favorite pet stores to go to. Always find a good deal on dog toys and treats here.

Was exactly what they needed in this area. There are literally no other places to get specialty pet supplies, aside from friggin Wal-Mart. I was so happy to hear this place was going up. Have lots of stuff for dogs, cats, ferrets, lizards, birds, and fish. They even have lizard, birds, and fish! Will certainly be coming back, and will be my go-to pet store hopefully for years to come. read more

Love love love having you guys in the neighborhood. We were excited from day one of finding out it was going in. I had been to other Pet supplies Plus stores and always had friendly service. What got me started going in was the do it yourself pet wash. It's reasonable and saves me from a big mess at home. It is our go to pet store now. We now buy the was card for our dogs. After baths we go up front and get them a special cookie. They love going in here and sniffing around and cleaning up crumbs lol Thank You Pet Supplies Plus for coming to my neighborhood!! read more

Great selection of dog foods. They didn't have exactly what I was looking for but had another brand that is even better at a slightly less price. Great deal. I'll be coming here from now on to get my pet supplies read more

I love this store, the staff are always friendly and willing to help with questions and concerns I have about my dog. Prices are better than Meijer and Walmart. I will always shop here for all my pet needs. I have four feral cats that I feed and when I buy the big bags of cat food, they always ask if I need help to the car. Keep on keeping on!!! read more

Zero Stars. I had an Awful experience at Pet Supplies Plus Lawrence this afternoon... I took the boys there one at a time for baths... Joe & Martin went fine... came back with Goody and had a wait, which was fine, except there was a couple with two loud, aggressive dogs on retractable leads, and one came towards Goody so I hopped up from the stack of food bags I was sitting on and got between the dog and Goody and asked him to get his dog away from us, and mentioned that we've been attacked before and are afraid of aggressive dogs... he just stood there, struggling to control the dog, while saying she wouldn't attack... I lost patience and yelled I Don't Know That, get your dog away from us... an employee stepped in and told him I'd asked him to get away from us, then asked me if we were ok and to let her know if we needed any further help... the jerk and dog then stood about twenty feet away and jerk stared at me... I asked why, and he just kept staring until it was our turn to go into the bath area...when I spoke to the manager on my way out after Goody was sparkling clean, the manager said "do you mean the police officer?"... I was shocked and said he sure isn't acting like an upstanding officer... asked the manager if he was ok having customers with aggressive dogs intimidating others in the store... he apologized, suggested I come at a less busy time, and said it's not like he could ask them to leave... I was so upset... and relieved Goody was the third one and I was done there. I was still shaking and mad when we got home. We4 Will Never Return to PSP Lawrence. read more

I always appreciate the excellent Customer Service I consistently receive at Pet Supplies Plus at the Pendleton Pike location! During my most recent visit, I had several items, one being a carton of Tidy Cat litter, along with several cans of cat food. Michael was my and Sales Associate and he not only assisted me in carrying my items to the register for check out, but he also assisted me in walking my merchandise to my car. His attributes are a reflection of the store, as it is a very friendly place to shop for all your pet's needs! read more

I normally love this place, but tonight when I went in to get my free bag of food, I was very upset to suddenly be informed that I couldn't use the UPCs I'd saved up, and that I now had to have receipts. The shift manager literally told me "if you can find someone that will do it for you, the I guess, good for you." She didn't say it in a snotty tone at least, but still, good customer service says you never say that to a customer, period. So now my dog has no food, and I'm just screwed on all the UPCs I've saved for my dogs and ferret. I'm beyond furious right now and I don't know that I'll ever go back. read more

Small store but it's so organized that you can just go and buy what you need. Super clean, and the employees are so sweet! I buy the "Redford" brand for my pup and she loves it, and the wet food from it too! I buy everything from there now.. no more Petsmart. Although, I wish the wet food can come in as a dozen instead of paying for singles but hey, I'm grateful and so is Sweet Pea :) read more

as the name suggests they do have a very good selection of pet supplies at this store, ive bought lots of filter parts, some silk plants, as well as some water conditioners for my two betta boys & had no problem finding the products i was looking for, employees were very helpful as well, the one thing that i had a problem with is the treatment of the betta fish that are sold at the store, they are very hit & miss in terms of beauty but that is expected with any pet store since they just get what is shipped, what disturbed me is that there were maybe two-three fish in a display of 20+ fish that looked healthy & actually responded to any movement, found a beautiful halfmoon there on one occasion who was on his side swimming in a circle due to sbd who could not swim upright from being over fed, as well as several other swimming in dirty water, the last visit i was horrified to find a male veiltail with almost no fins due to finrot(which is caused by very dirty water) that was very close to deaths door being displayed front & center on the display, they also had some of them in very tiny microtanks that were probably around 1/4 a gallon & employees told me that this was proper housing for a betta & they like small spaces(not true, they need 5 gal MINIMUM), so if you are looking for some supplies for your fish or a furry/feathered friend i would definitely suggest this place but i would not recommend buying any fish from this location unless you want it to literally flush $15 down the toilet read more
