    Our beautiful Max looks like a junkyard dog!

    After driving by a zillion times, we thought we'd give PetSuites a shot. We booked a grooming appointment and being able to get in right away should have been our first clue that perhaps the quality wasn't the highest. Our appointment was for 9am and we arrived a few minutes early. There was one person working the counter & she was working with another customer. Once she got to us, it took another 15 minutes to get my dog checked in. (Our veterinarian hadn't sent in Max's shot record and the person behind the counter handled this very well. It took two minutes.) When I came back in the afternoon to pick up Max I was SHOCKED to see how BAD he looked. A little flustered and having to get back to the car as my husband was waiting, I didn't speak up. Max was shaved! I requested a "puppy cut" which is a term familiar to any groomer I've ever worked with. What's worse, poor Max was UNEVENLY SHAVED. Poor fella has little tufts of hair poking out here & there. My husband called & spoke with the manager. She offered to "put a credit on our account." No thanks.

    Uneven chopped cut

    Nope. Don't bring your dog here for a groom. Maybe a short hair dog requiring no cut is safe. No one from Pet Suites has gotten back with me about my disappointment. I've been waiting since 4/2/2021. It's 4/25/2021 so I'm writing my review with no resolution. If I would have known my dog would look this bad, I would used the kitchen scissors myself. Not worth the money. She was shedding LIKE CRAZY after this. Don't go. Customer Service- I've called, no one answered and I left a message but I haven't heard back from anyone.

    We love Donna (groomer) She loves our Lab "Buddy" & our Main Coon "Ollie" and they love her. She has such s sweet disposition and makes you feel like family. She knows exactly what my animals need before I tell her. I drive 30 min. one way because she makes me feel so comfortable and is very though all. We love her and wouldn't go to anyone else.

    My name is CJ, but you can all me Karen bc I'm about to go off! Ive been trying to find a place to take my dog to socialize him, so last week on Sept 1 22 I took my dog to Pet Suites- Fishers for an initial visit & "assessment" this went well. I had communication from the staff about how things were going twice in the almost 5hrs he was there. I found out when I picked him up that for doggie-daycare they are left outside ALL day, my dog is not used to being outside in hot weather for long periods of time so this wasn't for us. I then was told doggy-day-boarding they are outside in the morning, come in to a kennel for a short break & go back out in the afternoon. I then spoke with Ashley & asked her if I could request (& would gladly pay more if I needed) to make sure that in the afternoon between "group play" as they call it that my dog be inside in the kennel for 3 hours to let him rest. I also asked if I could bring food for a lunch and snacks. I was told yes, so I booked doggy day boarding for today Sept 7 22 to give it a try. *WE WILL NOT BE GOING BACK* I was not told during the first visit that a tour of the facility was available to dog parents so today, when I picked him up, I asked to take one. I wanted to see the areas where they play, how they keep the dogs separated, & what the kennels look like. The young girl that checked me out was very sweet I didn't ask her name bc at the time I didn't think it was necessary. She told me let's take the tour then I can take you to the kennel he is in and we will get him, I said great idea! She showed me the areas which were basic but looked safe & clean. As we walked toward the kennels to get my dog I saw him in the first row, she kept walking, I found this weird but followed her, we walked to the very last row to a kennel that had my dogs bag & belongings I brought with him but NO DOG! The young girl said "oh..." I said I saw him up there when we walked past, she said you did. We walked to the front row where my dog was in a smaller kennel alone with none of his comforts from home and NO IDENTIFICATION! The young girl that was with me apologized multiple times and went to get his stuff. While I stood waiting for her I decided to take my dog out of the kennel myself. 5 employees, 5! walked past me and not 1 said a word to me about taking the dog out or walking around holding a dog that had no ID on. When the girl returned with his belongings I told her I wasn't upset with her, but that if there was a manager I would like to speak with them. I spoke with Melissa...I told her I was disappointed that I left my dog my child really in what I thought was secure hands, and was sadly mistaken. This would be UNACCEPTABLE for a parent of a human child to show up at daycare and their child be unaccounted for, its UNACCEPTABLE & APPALLING to me as the parent of a fur child for the same to happen. She told me she understood as her pets are her children too and that some dogs during play time are collar thief's, NOT AN ACCEPTABLE RESPONSE. If this is the case then you need to put a pic of the dog that should be in each kennel on the outside, or the staff that is out "watching" the dogs during group play need to be aware when this happens and put a new one on!! The food & treats I had brought were in the same individual bags with his belongings on top of the kennel he was "suppose" to be in, clearly meaning he had not been in the kennel & was likely without a name tag & outside ALL DAY his nails appear as if he was running on concrete all day- the quick is showing on some! Melissa told me she would "talk to her staff" If you read reviews this is the typical response they give, we will talk to our staff and use the feedback to do better. HEY MANAGEMENT this tactic clearly isn't working! IF YOU LOVE YOUR ANIMAL LIKE THEY ARE A HUMAN FAMILY MEMBER THIS IS NOT THE SAFE SECURE ENVIRONMENT YOU WANT THEM IN!

    Chunk of low hair that doesn't match the rest.

    I really thought this place was going to do right by me and my puppy. They talked a really good game but completely messed my puppy's haircut up! When i say I'm pissed i mean it!!!!! The "groomer" called me after my dog had been there for 4-5 hours to tell me she couldn't groom my dog because he was too hyper. She said every time i try to clip him he "wiggles his butt". Excuse me....he's a puppy! Not to mention he's only 8 pounds! She took a chunk of hair on his back and didn't even try to blend it. She also did the same with hair between his eyes. She left my puppy looking a f$&@ing mess!!!!!!!!!! Oh let me not forget that this horrible establishment still had the nerve to charge me $60!!!!!! You charge me $60 for f$&@ing my dog up?! The nerve of you! The manager should be ashamed of her workers and herself! I'm apart of a big dog community and i will make it my duty to share my experience. I literally cried while driving home because they did such a horrible job! I also never got a sorry or anything. I paid my money, held in my anger and tears and just left. I'll never return and i pray nobody else has to experience what i went through! When i left i called other groomers and they couldn't believe how they did my dog. They said it sounds like the groomer didn't know what she was doing and was being lazy! I 100% agree with them and it pitiful! UPDATE... The manager Amanda just reached out to me and i must say she was very pleasant, listened to me and made things right. Now that is how you run a business! I applaud her for the professionalism and I'm willing to give them another chance with my baby but not with that groomer. I expressed to her that i wish they would've spoken to me face to face when i picked my puppy up but I'll still give the manager credit for calling me today. Thank you Amanda and I'll see you again.

    I have been taking my shih tzu, Samara, here for years to get groomed. There are often $5 coupons sent through the mail. They always do a great job. I always feel bad because my shih tzu is pretty rough when I take her in. She always looks so pretty when she is finished. Anytime I have visited- the place is really clean. You can see inside the grooming station, and it is also kept clean. All the employees are really nice.

    i will NEVER bring my dog back here! all of my dogs paws are burnt from being outside on the hot concrete! should be able to trust a doggy daycare just like i would trust a child daycare. and then they tried to play it off as just one dry cracked pad not all of them being blistered...would leave a zero star if i could

    Professional, clean facility. Our Yorkie Cash was well cared for and received the best grooming of his life from Monica. Staff is friendly and efficient. Highly recommend.

    Very uneven. Some areas had hair that was 3" longer than others. There is no way the groomer did not notice this.

    I recently boarded my dog Hazel (60lbs for size reference) with Sue for a week long trip, and it…read morecouldn't have gone better!!!! I have boarded with 6 other boarding facilities prior to Sue and have had issues with every other one. Sue is the first person to ever take care of my dog the way that I am comfortable with, and money was never even on my mind when looked for a place for her to stay. However, it is worth noting that Sue is surprisingly affordable so she really just wins all the way around! I felt like Sue really listened to me about concerns and nerves, and the best example of this is with Hazel's paws. I told her that she always ends up with cuts on her paws when boarding for some reason, and other places always miss it and one even told me with 100% confidence that she was in heat. My dog is spayed and was not in heat, she just had a cut paw. I didn't even ask her to do this, but Sue frequently checked Hazel's paws because of this concern! I had only mentioned it in case she found blood, but she decided to check throughout the week and Hazel never had any cuts! My dog cannot be with other dogs while I am away because one time at a different boarding place, she was being rude to another dog (trying to get him to play when he didn't want to), and that dog ended up biting her. Sue doesn't just throw dogs together and hope it works out, she spends time getting to know your dog and works with them as an individual. I liked this instead of the pack mentality that you find at a lot of other places. From what I understand, she would put your own dogs together though, so if you have more than one, they would be able to play. Another thing I really liked was that Hazel has trust issues when it comes to people taking her out to potty, so she always has accidents unless it is me, my fiancé, or my parents taking care of her. It took us a long time to get her fully potty trained with just us! Sue told me to just bring back the blanket next time and she's comfortable working with her trying to help her understand to go outside during boarding as well. Also, despite all of her accidents, she didn't come home crusted in urine. At some other facilities it has been so bad that we have to carry her in and bathe her immediately. Hazel at least wasn't sitting in her own pee for hours, and Sue washed the blanket every time she peed on it. Additionally, the communication with Sue was really good. She responded to texts on the same day, and was able to provide pictures and updates on Hazel whenever I requested it! If you talk to her on the phone or in person, you're going to pick up on the fact that she really is a dog person right away. My gut just told me "YES" when I talked to her for the first time. Then, when we came in, she was happy to show us where Hazel would be staying, even though they were right in the middle of a hectic cleaning! As for cleanliness, they clean every morning. Dogs are definitely housed there, but it doesn't smell like some other facilities where it reeks of urine and unwashed dog, so you can tell they take cleaning seriously! Lastly, something you wouldn't think I would have to mention but clearly do after my experiences at other places, Sue actually fed my dog! I always portion out Hazel's meals, and every time I picked her up from somewhere else, there were some that were not fed to her. Sue used all the baggies with food, so I'm glad my baby got to eat! Hazel only gets a blanket because she chews up her beds during boarding usually, but you're free to bring your own bedding here too! The floors are heated as well in the winter. Overall, I'm going to be coming back for sure! She's wonderful and cares for my dog! If you care about quantity of reviews, check out Google, there were more on there when I posted there too!
