Went into the store to use the dog wash and order some specialty dog food. The dog wash station wasn't as clean / tidy as I would have liked (thus the 4 stars). However, everything was functioning and worked well. I brought my own but they provided several dog shampoo options. The food order was flawless. The manager took my order. She called me back to let me know it was ordered and when it was scheduled to arrive. I received another call when it arrived (on time - as committed). Overall it was a great experience. read more

the groomers & staff, except 1 manager, are great @ pet supplies plus crown point. however, there are no air conditioning vents in the grooming room. sometimes in the closed-door small area the temp can reach 80 degrees! this is a health issue, especially for the elderly & elderly dogs. the store is under new ownership & i hope they can rectify this air conditioning issue! i hate to have to find a new groomer!! i have been using the same groomer for over 3 years!!! read more

One of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had! It won't be long before they're out of business too.

My pet Wrigley had a grooming appointment with Amanda on Saturday 4/18 beware, if you decide to take your pet here for grooming do not schedule it with Amanda. I paid $95.00 and he looks HORRIBLE.! his fur is shaved different heights in different sections of his body! I was told she's their top groom! I will never return. I called to complain, all they offered was " I'm sorry" read more

Haven't been here in long time went today. The staff was rude. Don't know why don't understand. I said in the past and I would no longer go to this place. It was kind of an emergency today. If I can avoid it, I will not go back. read more

Had a black Friday coupon for 50% off grooming. They would not honor it. The Portage store would. I will be traveling to Portage from now on. Groomer also called off and my 2 dogs had to be done by someone else. read more

my dog came in for wash and cut, when I picked him up hair was cut but they totally cut off his beard and eyebrows, he looks like a totally different breed of dog, never going back there , some of the groomers don't know how to cut specialty cuts. read more

I took my Siberian husky to get groomed there for the first time yesterday. I paid extra for the de-shed package. When I picked him up, his fur looked worse than when I brought him in. It looked "chunky" where she did not brush all the undercoat that I paid extra for. There is no way she de-shed my baby. I even asked her before I left, and she said she did. There is so much more fur coming off him now. I paid $67 for a bath and de-shed. I basically paid $67 for a bath. He smells very nice and is very soft. He seemed to like it there. One more thing, they had a 15% off de-shed code on the website, and when I went to pay, the cashier said it was expired. I go to the store a lot. I will continue to go for my dogs treats a toys, but I have three dogs, and I won't take them there to get groomed again. read more

Amazing pet store. The best of everything. The employees are the bomb too. Pet wash vet days are always spot on. Nicolette rocks.

Extremely disappointed that they would put a bag of food back on the shelf that was opened already..my bad for not catching it at the time. Threw it out and went elsewhere....$25 down the drain. read more

Pet Supplies Plus Crown Point - Pet Stores Near Me - Crown Point, Indiana

Most unprofessional dog groomer in the area. I'm new to Indiana and I decided to make an appointment to get my dog groomed here. I called and asked for prices and what was included and they couldn't give me an answer, I said okay well I'll ask in person. I made my appointment 2 weeks in advance and a week later they call me to reschedule. I understood completely that something might of came up, so I rescheduled. THE DAY OF MY APPOINTMENT- 2 hours before they call me to reschedule AGAIN. At this point I'm going to take my business elsewhere this was completely unprofessional. read more

Been here several times for my cat needs. All I needed are here. The place is clean and the staff are friendly. We'll definitely come back.

I have shopped at this store since they opened the Crown Point location and I am satisfied with both their supplies of cat food, along with decent pricing, and generally a fast, accurate check-out. read more

I have a pet supplies plus card. Just looked at receipt and no savings after spending $28.00. I spend $100.00 a month if not more and see no savings. Its time to go back to Pet Smart. I get savings there. read more

The rudest place ever! Drove over 45minutes after calling about getting a nail trim for my dog. The girl told me no appointment needed just come in When I get there the groomer didn't even say anything. When I asked for the nail trim, she took one look at my lab and groaned about it. Then, proceeded to tell me that I would have to wait an hour! She said she just started trimming a small dog and I would have to wait! I explained I called and asked before coming and she goes"well yeah nail trims arent appointments we just do them when we can". She proceeded to argue with me about it. Totally ridiculous! read more

I can't believe Patricia S.'s review was so ignorant as to bring politics into her statement. Anyone with a brain would discredit her opinion on that alone. The employees and management at this store bend over backwards to help people. read more

I went in to have my dog groomed, she is a large dog weighing 54lbs she is a labordoodle. When I got there I was treated with a fake smile, for the lady that cut my dogs hair was not good at her job. She asked some good questions I thought but when I picked up my dog she looked nothing like I thought. When I picked her up she was still wet, and looked like she had lived in a back alle all her life. Her hair was shaven off way to short for my liking and head hadn't been cut at all. She looks like she just went through hell when I picked her up I'm so disappointed in their service. I am never going back there again price was too cheap for the crappy job they did. read more

Great place to shop, very friendly staff, and competitive prices. We stopped shopping at Petsmart and starting to come here. We love to support local rather than large corporations. They even carry your dog food to your car, you don't hear companies doing that anymore. read more

This store may have a pretty good selection but that's about it! Every time I have entered that store something goes sideways...the price is NEVER what is advertised. 5.48 bag of treats on sale for 3.99...they do not honor internet prices even if you have the membership card...gave some crap about franchise vs corporate. So bought 2 of the 5oz bags, overpaid $3.00. Done with them....Chewy.com NEVER disappoints! read more

I came into this location on Wednesday, I spoke with employee named Tyler I was treated very rudely he and felt very disrespected. I have never had a more displays your boy experience in retail in my entire life. Hopefully management concede to make changes to this. read more

This store is well stocked and has a great knowledgeable staff. The prices are always just right, too. My dog loves the treats we get her there. Best pet supply store for miles! read more

Up until my last visit I would have given 5 stars, still like the store but I wish they didn't have such a turnover of help, especially managers. I've been buying my dog food there since they opened, and I price match. That seems to bother some of the managers. I buy 8 to 12 large bags of dog food every month, that is $200 to $300, even with my price match. Most of the difference is $3 to $5 a bag. Today the new girl gave me a hard time because I didn't have complete info on my sale printout, the last time I was there I was told what I had was OK since I've been buying there so long. I'll print out more info next time but I do not like being made to feel as tho they think I might be lying. read more

PSP in Crown Point is by far my favorite pet store around! I even go out of my way... past 3 other pet stores just to come here! They are always there to help with what ever it is I'm looking for. My dogs always get groomed here too, they look fantastic when they are done. Extremely professional and clean store. I just love PSP Crown Point, I would NEVER go anywhere else! Thanks PSP your the best!!!! read more
