Went into the store to use the dog wash and order some specialty dog food. The dog wash station wasn't as clean / tidy as I would have liked (thus the 4 stars). However, everything was functioning and worked well. I brought my own but they provided several dog shampoo options. The food order was flawless. The manager took my order. She called me back to let me know it was ordered and when it was scheduled to arrive. I received another call when it arrived (on time - as committed). Overall it was a great experience. read more

My pet Wrigley had a grooming appointment with Amanda on Saturday 4/18 beware, if you decide to take your pet here for grooming do not schedule it with Amanda. my dog came in for wash and cut, when I picked him up hair was cut but they totally cut off his beard and eyebrows, he looks like a totally different breed of dog, never going back there , some of the groomers don't know how to cut specialty cuts. read more

I took my Siberian husky to get groomed there for the first time yesterday. I paid extra for the de-shed package. When I picked him up, his fur looked worse than when I brought him in. It looked "chunky" where she did not brush all the undercoat that I paid extra for. There is no way she de-shed my baby. I even asked her before I left, and she said she did. There is so much more fur coming off him now. I paid $67 for a bath and de-shed. I basically paid $67 for a bath. He smells very nice and is very soft. He seemed to like it there. One more thing, they had a 15% off de-shed code on the website, and when I went to pay, the cashier said it was expired. I go to the store a lot. I will continue to go for my dogs treats a toys, but I have three dogs, and I won't take them there to get groomed again. read more

The rudest place ever! Drove over 45minutes after calling about getting a nail trim for my dog. The girl told me no appointment needed just come in When I get there the groomer didn't even say anything. When I asked for the nail trim, she took one look at my lab and groaned about it. Then, proceeded to tell me that I would have to wait an hour! She said she just started trimming a small dog and I would have to wait! I explained I called and asked before coming and she goes"well yeah nail trims arent appointments we just do them when we can". She proceeded to argue with me about it. Totally ridiculous! read more

I went in to have my dog groomed, she is a large dog weighing 54lbs she is a labordoodle. When I got there I was treated with a fake smile, for the lady that cut my dogs hair was not good at her job. She asked some good questions I thought but when I picked up my dog she looked nothing like I thought. When I picked her up she was still wet, and looked like she had lived in a back alle all her life. Her hair was shaven off way to short for my liking and head hadn't been cut at all. She looks like she just went through hell when I picked her up I'm so disappointed in their service. I am never going back there again price was too cheap for the crappy job they did. read more

Up until my last visit I would have given 5 stars, still like the store but I wish they didn't have such a turnover of help, especially managers. I've been buying my dog food there since they opened, and I price match. That seems to bother some of the managers. I buy 8 to 12 large bags of dog food every month, that is $200 to $300, even with my price match. Most of the difference is $3 to $5 a bag. Today the new girl gave me a hard time because I didn't have complete info on my sale printout, the last time I was there I was told what I had was OK since I've been buying there so long. I'll print out more info next time but I do not like being made to feel as tho they think I might be lying. read more

PSP in Crown Point is by far my favorite pet store around! I even go out of my way... past 3 other pet stores just to come here! The quality and service you get at this location far out weighs the extra little drive. They have every single product I have ever needed, and the staff is so extremely helpful. I am glad to have a full service pet shop in town. The people are nice and always ask to carry our bags to car. Just be sure to call ahead about nail trims, etc. because grooming salon does have shorter hours. read more
