Horrible experience. I Made my dog an appointment, dropped him off, and they called me 15 minutes later to go pick him up. They said he wasn't cooperating. My dog has been groomed multiple times at other facilities and this has never been an issue. The cherry on top was that I still got charged full price. Would not recommend this place. horrible service and a lying staff. I was given a price over the phone brought my dog in and they charged me $20.00 more. The staff claimed I was never given a price of 84.00. had management contact me as no manager was in the store. When Paige called me back she said she would have to look in to this. She called me back and stated she listened to the booking phone call and her staff was wrong by just giving me a price. that this is a common issue they have. Extremely overpriced. They charged me $73 to groom my 6 lb. Morkie. The price was based on the fact that I hadn't been there in 12 weeks, not the condition of the dog. That's right you will be charged an additional $10-$20 if you haven't been there in a certain length of time! Regardless of whether you've been out of town, etc. I originally thought $53 (they're Standard price) was crazy to groom a 6 lb dog...But $73 is absolutely outrageous. They have done a decent job with grooming but the receptionists manners are not good. She is very rude. They closed for inclement weather and called me 2 hours prior to the appointment to cancel. The annoying thing is...It never snowed!!!It was a sunny day in the low 30s. They stopped taking clients on weekends to "improve their quality of life." If not careful the lack of professionalism and closing for the day with no reason, will tun them out of business. read more

I took my dog here for the first time today. And I gotta say, I was a little nervous because I read their reviews and I'm glad that I didn't let the reviews scare me away. The minute I walked in I was greeted with a smile. They were very helpful and very detailed in answering my questions. My dog looks great and was very happy when I picked him up. Cheyenne was amazing! She was so patient and so kind and did a superb job. I loved it so much that I already booked his next appointment. Again, so glad I didn't pass up this place based on reviews. I have been using Smoochie Pooch mobile grooming for 5 years now and always been happy with the service ..I like supporting local businesses.. but lately customer service is lacking... my mobile groomer has moved and let me know at the end of our last visit... nobody has bothered to call and try to set me up with someone else.. when I called today I'm told they don't have any appointments until January like I'm a new client... I fine this totally unacceptable... my two dogs are special needs and cannot go to a regular groomer... I always recommended Smoochie Pooch to people... never again! They were not even willing to work with me to figure out something. after 5 years as a loyal customer.. deserve better! read more

They moved my grooming time without calling me or asking me if it was okay and then the day of the appointment they canceled and told me my three dogs will have to wait 3 more weeks before they can get groomed. My dog was injured while being groomed. I was informed by the groomer that she had spoken to her manager and he agreed to pay for the veterinarian bill. My dog had to be sedated and received a stich to his front left paw. I presented the bill the very next day. The groomer took a picture and sent it to her manager while I stood there. About 3 days later he finally called me and said he would put a check in the mail and would take a few days to get to me. It's now exactly 3 weeks later and still no reimbursement. All of his employees screen the calls and claim they will let him know. I haven't heard anything since his initial return call. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

I am also unhappy with this business and will be going elsewhere. I've been a loyal client of their mobile grooming for two years. Out of the blue yesterday the groomer told me my dog had a negative reaction to the drier and she couldn't continue with the grooming. I wasn't there so I can't say exactly what happened, but my dog was wet and half shaved and looked ridiculous. She told me I had to pay her for the whole service, which was 95 dollars (!), but to call the office to see what could be done. I did so, and the young lady I spoke with was totally unhelpful and unsympathetic. I asked if someone could just fix the hair on his head since it was now dry and they wouldn't have to use the drier. She said nope they are totally booked for two months. I asked to speak to a manager, she said she would convey the message, but that was two days ago and no one has called back. I feel I should get a partial refund or they should make it right by finishing the the job, but it seems they don't care. read more

Made a grooming appointment for my 2 miniature poodles. Day before left a message saying one groomer had a family emergency so they could only take one dog. Well I like them to be on same schedule so I didn't go. They charged me 69$ for not taking in one dog, and said they called back saying that they could do both. Which I didn't receive this message. Their fees are pricey and if your a no show ( even though not technically your fault) you get charged a ridiculous fee. Which is almost half as much as a missed Dr. appointment would be. Not to mention I have cancelled last minute for one reason or another and haven't been charged. Plus the supervisor was argumentative, saying it wasn't on her end, since she left another message. Sorry don't sit by my phone waiting for calls or voicemails expecting to say yes now you can come. WHICH ONE IS IT?? You should have figured out before you made the call. I do not recommend taking your pet to this establishment. I was charged regular price for an appointment that I NEVER confirmed. *Explanation: You have to go on their website to set up appointment, which is fine, but you're given 3 choices at dates. I put my favored date in first, and they couldn't fit both my dogs in on that date. They texted me and asked if my second date was ok, and if it was, put C in to confirm. I had to work on the second date, so I didn't put C in to confirm, because I had to see if my hubby could take them. I was never able to talk to him about it, so I thought that I would just make another appointment at a time I could take them. I looked at my bank statement and they charged me for the appointment and claimed I was a no-show. $124 for an appointment I never confirmed. I spoke to the manager, and she wouldn't budge. she was rude and said it was my fault I didn't make it to my appointment. I will NEVER go here again. They lost my business and acted like it was no big deal to charge me for a service that I never asked for. I NEVER confirmed it! OMG!! They lost $500+ from us. a year.
