This is my local store and we used to come here all the time. Now we use Chewy for most of our go-to items. This store has a great staff. They always try to assist with whatever you are looking for. We have a small Chiweenie who is on a prescription diet, and unfortunately, this store doesn't carry the brand we require. If they did order it, the price wouldn't be comparable to Chewy. I come here to pick up dog toys and I have even found some cute outfits for my fur-baby too. The grooming department does a good job. We used Christina for a long time and I would recommend her. read more

They called it a spa, but oh what a lie, For fifteen bucks, I nearly did cry. An industrial shampoo keg, bigger than me, Was this a dog wash or farm supply feed? We took our dog there for a bath .. because it was to cold to bath outside.. it's was awesome and well Worth it so much easier especially on back. Came here for dog nail trim - never been in the store before. The groomer was so rough with my dog right away. Total manhandling. Then when my dog obviously got upset she started screaming at the dog. Hissing at her and yelling at her. Needless to say it just made my dog more anxious. I almost cried. Took our two 20 lb dogs in for a bath. The groomers were great here! They took an appointment on the phone, verified our dog's health records to make sure all dogs are vaccinated for rabies that go in there, greeted us when we came in, and were ready on time. We had brunch next door, and when we were done, so were the pups. They looked and smelled great and were in a great mood. It may not be the fanciest grooming place you've ever been, but good prices, appointments, and results. Bonus points - our dogs can be a bit loud when they see other dogs. This location was quiet and with 1 groomer at time working on 1 dog at a time, meant our dogs had no stress and weren't caged. They truly seemed cared for, unlike other "factory" groomers that try to get em in and get em out. This location also has self service grooming for $10 where you can use a raised bath area, shampoo, towels, and a blow dryer. read more

I brought my 11 lb dog to be groomed. The groomer basically washed and shaved her because she was matted (she likes to swim). She charged me $70 which I felt was outrageous. I questioned it because the receipt said "large" before the price. Her excuse was that she had to comb out her tail (which is about 3" long) and head (hair about 1" long.) I definitely won't go back. I would expect to pay that gladly if she combed out the mats and left her hair longer.. read more

This store is absolutely gigantic. While I didn't have a chance to roam the entire store, I imagine they have every pet need covered. There were aisles upon aisles of dog, cat, bird, fish, etc. food and care products. There is a self dog wash area along with a groomer on site. Along the back wall I noticed an "aquarium" that contained many tanks with various fish for sale. In the center of the store there were a few bird cages with canaries, finches, and parakeets for sale. Near this were tanks with Guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, and other small critters. They also house a few cats that are available for adoption from a local animal rescue. read more

We love going to Pet Supermarket in Delray Beach. It is such a large store with many items to chose from. Everyone is so friendly and the staff is very helpful. We have a 1 year Boston & a 15 year old Boston and they both have different needs. Our one year old loves chewing on the "Jones Natural Chew Beef Crown Knuckle 1pk" which was recommended to us by the staff. These bones keep our puppy entertained so he does not chew on our furniture. We feed both of our dogs "Stella & Chewy's Raw Coated Chicken Recipe Dog Food" and they love it. We also feed our dogs Primal Frozen Raw Lamb food. Unfortunately, they do not carry the Primal Frozen food which I wish they did, but they do have the Primal freeze dried food which is also excellent for your dogs. If you are looking for a nice friendly experience go to Pet Supermarket on the corner of Atlantic Ave & Hagen Ranch Rd. You won't be disappointed. read more
