Pet Pros, specifically the Milton location, has always been very helpful to me. They are friendly and knowledgeable. Jess has been especially helpful and kind in accepting my returns. When I call, I know she has to politely leave a customer to run to the back of the to catch the phone. A gal I met in an aisle at Petsmart mentioned a product I might want was available at Pet Pros. Lo and behold they had it. The store is small but carries a wide variety of pet items, specialty pet products & food. The store is in a strip mall and the employees were nice and helpful. I was not expecting much because of the previous review. I do wonder how often there would be enough staff to assist you with a large/heavy purchase, it is a smaller store. I've gone into this store a few times now , because it's nearby and convenient. I would likely shop there more often, if the staff could try being friendly and helpful instead of grouchy and borderline rude. I wouldn't have given 3 stars, but the most recent time I went in, there were 2 young men working and they were Stellar! Friendly , helpful, just downright excellent customer service. The one guy even showed me similar items to what I was buying, that were on sale! I will likely still use this store, but I will probably look and see who is working before I go in. The women have just not been conducive to encouraging customer repeat business. read more

We have shopped here since the store opened on and off, mostly off. I think we too have met the woman who some of the other reviewers mentioned, the one that follows you and is a bit over bearing. I haven't seen her in the last few times I have stopped by. We wanted to shop here more but they did not carry the items that we purchase on a regular basis until recently. Within the last year or so they got a refrigerator with raw food and bones. I also believe there is new staff and when we enrolled our phone number we get a free bag of dog food after a certain number of purchases - it seems to be dependent on the type of food you buy. I also buy treats here for my jindo-mix who is 7 years old. Since we have become regulars here i usually bring Ramzi with me when we stop by, and the staff always offer a treat and to walk me to my car with the food i purchase. I have only shopped at one other Pet Pro's in Auburn and think the one located here is just as friendly now. Parking is plentiful as it is located right next to Safeway, Rite Aid, etc Last time I was here they didn't have the food I usually buy and I just had to ask staff, they checked the back and came out with one. Once I even asked the woman at the front to watch Ramzi while I go into Safeway for a quick purchase, as it was a hot summer day - and they were fine with it, i didn't buy anything that day; but we will continue to be back as long as they have what we need and it's stocked at a comparable price! read more

I will preface this review by saying that I have shopped at the Pet Pros location in downtown Bellevue for 6+ yrs now. That location has always had friendly service, a convenient location, and a good selection of high quality pet food. This Milton location is relatively new and is in the Surprise Lake Shopping Center (the one with the Safeway and Rite Aid). I was happy to see a location that was close to home as opposed to being close to my office. Yay--I thought to myself. More pet food shopping options! Suffice it to say that I won't be returning to this location after the shoddy service I received today. I was working from home and stopped by at noon. Be aware that there are only a few parking spaces right at the storefront and the rest of the spots are a fair distance away...particularly if you have to carry a 40 lb bag of dry dog food! The one employee that was working did not offer to help me out at all, nor did she offer a cart or dolly for me to carry out my own purchases. She LITERALLY said "You can go to Safeway and borrow one of theirs" before proceeding to ignore me and move on to the next customer. I was shocked. The Bellevue location has parking spaces that are right there in front of the store and they NEVER fail to ask if you need help getting to the car. I went to Safeway, grabbed one of their carts, and used it to take my Pet Pro items to my car. I'm normally all for carrying my own stuff to my car, but it's NICE when they offer help...particularly when most of the parking spaces are a fair distance away from the store. I understand that she might have been the only person working and there were other customers that needed help, but the polite and decent thing to do would have been to offer assistance after she was finished ringing out the other customers. This was PARTICULARLY annoying when I looked at their website and noted that they are supposed to be committed to customer service. BOO! Won't be returning here anytime in the near future. read more

Very rude service. I've heard from several people in the area about the services here, but I decided to check it out myself, and ignore the WARNINGS. I went in last week to purchase some dog treats, and as I walked in, I was immediately asked "CAN I HELP YOU WITH SOMETHING?!" **not in a friendly way, more like "WHY ARE YOU HERE?!".. Wow.. Umm, no thanks, I'm just looking. To make a long story short, I was literally followed by the woman, as I walked around the store. Again she had asked "HELLO?! CAN I HELP YOU?!".. Um.. no thanks, just looking. Needless to say, I will never purchase anything from a PetPros ever again. Looks like I'll be making my purchases down the highway in Federal Way, PetSmart or PetCo. read more

I have recently started working in the shopping complex that this Pet Pros is in and I could not be happier being able to shop here so often!! The staff at the Milton Pet Pros are top notch - so king and helpful! Maggie is always the first one to help and has a gift for customer service! Their product selection is consistently evolving with the industry while still staying true to the basic brands. I love how Pet Pros supports local businesses and truly highlights them giving shoppers the availability to support as well. I will always be happy to pay a little bit more with such great customer service, convenience and product selection! read more

Ive been shopping at Pet Pros in Milton now for a couple years. They are always very friendly and go out of their way to help me. The products they carry are healthier for my dogs then anything I find at a supermarket. They have all natural treats that my dogs love. The dog and cat food is high quality. They have gone out of their way to special order my dog food for me when they were sold out. My dogs love Himalayan Dog Chews....I mentioned to them about 6 months ago that they should start carrying them and within a couple weeks the product was on their shelves. read more

Walked in here because Safeway had run out of marrow bones and I'm glad I did because they had treats for dogs I didn't know existed...lol. Not only did they have frozen bones for dogs they also had chicken/turkey necks, cod treats, and other stuff for dogs as well. The person working there was super friendly and I will definitely return. Military discount a plus and coupons will play a big part in returning to this store. read more

I wrote my original review in 2009, saying how grateful I was when the manager of the (then relatively new) Pet Pros store had helped me in an emergency situation with a litter of AKC Pomeranians whose mom had lactation complications. Today, while looking for Pet Pros hours of operation (because I just ran out of dog food) I can see my review was "filtered" and is not even listed. This is ridiculous. A woman who complains nastily she had to carry her own dog food to her car has her Yelp review published for all to see. But my account of how a manager at Pet Pros who was a complete stranger to me heroically drove to another store to get tiny baby bottles for my two-day old Pomeranian puppies--that gets "filtered." What a freaking sham. I am disgusted and don't think I'll ever write another review for Yelp, because why should I waste my time if it will be filtered? read more

LOVE having a nearby pet store! Prices are pretty comparable for most items to petco/petsmart... These people go above and beyond to makes sure your animal gets the right food and what's best for your breed! I always bring my dog in with me and she loves it too! In fact my dog wasn't eating all of her food ... More than half the bag was gone they told me to bring it back in and I would be refunded as they want happy customers and their products are guaranteed! Even if they are a little more expensive the excellent customer service makes it worth it! I have received help or offers for help every time I walk in the door! Love this place :) read more

I brought my dog a few times into the store. They were nice enough however, when another dog came in and dog got stressed out and pooped on the floor. I stood there (five feet from the counter) while two of the cashiers talked. I had baggies on my leash so I picked up the messed but there was some streaks on the floor. I didn't want to leave the spot just in case the other customer stepped in it. I asked if there was any clean up items. They put it on the counter for me to get, so I still had to leave the spot. I cleaned it up and then told me I had to throw it away outside. Good thing I had hand sanitizer on me or my poopie hands would have been on the door for everyone to touch. I buy dog food that I can't find in a regular pet store so I continue to go there, but I never bring my dog in anymore. read more

The staff here is wonderful! They are extremely helpful with any concern that I have with my dog. They order special food just for me because of my dog's allergies. They are friendly and recognize me and know my dog. He gets wonderful attention when I bring him to the store -- lots of love and little treats. I love this store and highly recommend it. read more

I enjoy shopping at Pet Pros in Milton. I have always had excellent service and the employees are very knowledgeable and helpful--they usually point out ways that I can save money. I have several pets and they have everything I need there in the store; also they are willing to try to get something in for me if it's not in stock already.
