Store designs and displays are attractive and uniquely Mud Bay, product offerings are vast and updated, and there's a premium vibe to the experience without a premium price. For those unaware, Mud Bay price matches, and for those on a budget (and who's not in 2026), know that MB carries foods that are extremely affordable in addition to hyper-premium foods. Rest assured, regardless of the price of the food, if MB carries it, it's vetted and high quality. My personal favorite thing about Mud Bay, and why I'm leaving this review, is the people. This was my first visit to this Mill Creek store. I'm dog sitting and needed some treats, so of course I pulled up 5 mins before they closed. That wasn't a problem. The two gals working, Amalia and Laura, were beyond incredible. Both women knew a ton about the products I asked about and got me taken care of at my speed. More importantly, they both seemed to truly love their jobs, pets, and people. If I lived in Mill Creek, this would be the only pet store I'd shop. Once again, well done Mud Bay!

One of our dogs is very high anxiety when it comes to groomers and they've had no issues with him here, which is amazing. We haven't been able to get his nails trimmed anywhere else because he freaks out too much but the groomers here are magical and get it done each time. It's a bit pricey but worth it to know our dogs are well taken care of. They also come back so handsome each time!

I recently adopted a little white Poodle from a high kill shelter that rescued animals that…read moresurvived the Hurricane in Puerto Rico last year. It took quite a bit of maneuvering (and funds) to get her to Washington state and by the time she got here she looked a mess and was a nervous wreck. She was a bit matted, she wouldn't look you in the eyes and she trembled a lot. I named her 'Diamond' and brought her home me and my cat Coal gave her unconditional love and helped her to calm down for a month. When I'd saved a few dollars I took Diamond to PetSmart and introduced her to your groomers and told them a bit of her story and explained that I wanted to give her a "Pretty Woman" day at the doggy spa. But I only had enough for a bath, so please make it a nice, long special bath. They asked if I wanted a haircut or at least a poodle facial cut (I had no idea what that was) but I explained that money was tight. They said they'd call when she was ready and that it should take about 90 minutes. 2 hours later I still hadn't gotten a call. When it was going on 3 hours I went back to the store a little concerned. They were very busy and as I waited for someone to come to the counter, I was looking at all the doggies being 'finished up' and noticed a beautiful fancy, upscale, fritzy little white poodle standing proud and holding her little head high and thought to myself "one day, that's how I want little Diamond to look and feel. Proud and strong." The lady gave me the paperwork and told me to go pay up front and by the time I got back she'd be ready. Well, imagine my surprise when I was given a $10 'first visit' discount (woo hoo!) which made the visit easily fall within my price range. When I back to the grooming area, the ladies handed me my lease and pink collar attached to the glamorous Poodle I'd been eyeing earlier. It was Diamond! I hadn't even recognized her! These wonderful woman had taken it upon themselves to give this puppy a full "Pretty Woman" doggy day. They tried to whisper all this to me around the other customers, but by that time I was crying, one of the groomer ladies was kinda crying, some were grinning and looking silly and a few of the other customers were looking misty. The dog was absolutely beautiful and happy and dancing. As was I. And can't say 'Thank You' enough to the groomers at PetSmart in Everett, Washington. You made my day. In long Across a couple locations, they've been one of the main places I've shopped for pet stuff the last 20 years. There was a time when I'd get food at other places when I saw a lower price, but the dry stuff I get my cats now is actually cheaper here than most places. This week I came in for a bag of kibble that I paid for online. Their website occasionally has a bug that triggers your purchase at a different store, even if you re-save your local branch as "your" store. They were super cheerful about fixing it and squared it away in under 5 minutes. Another guy had a big friendly mutt in with him while I was waiting, and here's where you see MB doing its thing--they offer treats, gush over your fur baby, and make a point of remember your dog's name next time you come in. They want you to know they work there because they love animals, too. Nice touch. The way they merchandise everything is really nice for some reason--bit sturdy free-standing tables and shelves, usually you can see under around just about everything. Polished concrete floors. All easy to clean, very pet-friendly. They have every little thing you can imagine--beds, collars, food and water dishes, not just food. They have every kind of wet and dry food, too, and probably some natural stuff (I didn't look). Pets go through enough food that I am a pretty price-driven shopper, and these guys have come back into the rotation for me thanks to their pricing. But they really care, too--our little dog is a picky eater, and they have kept track of everything she has tried, and finally found stuff she'll eat enough of that she actually got half a pound *over* her goal weight. They're really great here.

They also have most of our other outdoor "pets" covered, too - from rabbits to squirrels. They have also got supplies for dogs, cats, "indoor" pet birds, and other domesticated animals. In my experience, service is ALWAYS quick, helpful, and friendly. I've never had to return anything, but I would expect good service. The big box shops have the mass produced feed at, I think, sometimes lower prices, but it's worth it to us and our outdoor family to get the good stuff (and it's not always more money). The back wall at the register is also always a fun read -- they have a regularly changing wall with tons of humorous wood signs/plaques and they carry some other fun giftable items. I have done some present shopping here from time to time. (And, no - I did not give my wife a bag of bird seed for Christmas! That would have been more of a birthday thing...)
