Both Katrina and Eunice were a pleasure to work with. Once we approved the written quote, we were able to schedule them for a weekend treatment, which most other companies were not able to accommodate. They always emailed quotes, receipts and instructions promptly, and provided a certificate or insurance for our building to approve. I've never worked with a company that was so professional and on top of the paperwork. I love the calendar invites that make sure we're on the same page. On the day of, they called to let us know a more specific time for when the technician would be arriving during the 3 hour window, and they kept us informed when he was running late so we were always kept in the loop. The technician, Tony, was very transparent and informative about their treatment process and put us at ease. I also wanted to note that their instructions included pictures that were very helpful and made them easier to follow. Other companies' documents were confusing and hard to understand. We also appreciated that they had tools that could go behind the outlet covers, which is safer because it prevents the dust from coming out. Every other company needed us to remove the outlet covers ourselves as part of preparation. Overall, this has been a great experience so far. Sealed the likely entrance, built trap boxes ( YouTube... ) and used various baits. Rats are extremely smart and fast. He'd get the food but not caught. After a a few weeks I gave in and searched for an exterinator. The reviews about Joe prompted me to get in touch. The reviews describe him perfectly ! He came the next day. We spent almost 2 hours going around the house inspecting for evidence of entry points, nests, activity as well as getting to know each other. He is truly a nice guy who knows his craft ! Joe seemed impressed by my approach. Thought, based on what he saw, that there might only be the one and didn't see any obvious additional enrty points. He suggested a few new baits and traps and we decided to stay in touch before moving to poison. He refused payment for his time and advice. He promptly replied to my status texts over the next few days. Nobody caught, no success... until I got him ! Sent Joe pictures. Recieved a congratulations reply ! After several different chats, Chelsea Pet control accommodated me right away and saw me briefly after. We had an exterminator come over and spray the first two times, but the issue still did not seem to go away. Although he was extremely friendly and we loved his personality and kindness, we knew we needed a more advanced technician. We were not satisfied yet, there was definitely a lot of questions left unanswered. I messaged Chelsea Pest Control to request another technician to have another look themselves and see if someone else can figure it out, and then they sent over Sammy. In a matter of MINUTES, Sammy was able to detect the problem and what was causing this infestation! He was confident and diligent, not afraid to get his hands dirty. You can tell he works hard and is extremely determined to finding a solution NO MATTER WHAT IT TAKES. He took the extra time to spray our apartment extra, give us a clear explanation on how to stop it, and answered all my questions and concerns confidently and patiently. In keeping up with the times, they have added an additional treatment along with Aprehend to make the extermination even more effective.
