    Chicken quesadilla
    Ann Marie D.

Pescado's is located unassumingly in a strip mall across from Brevard College, but they are putting out some great food. It's not cheap Mexican food- two small quesadillas, two sodas and a chips and dip cost us just over $30. They don't have a huge menu, but they are really good at the things they make. As previously mentioned we both had quesadillas. 1 chicken, 1 ground beef. They were really good! I know people think it is hard to mess up a quesadilla, but for people who think that, you have never had a bad one, so consider yourself lucky. The cheese dip was SO THICK with cheese, it was thicker than the one I make at home, so you are definitely getting bang for your buck on that item. Staff was efficient and friendly. They have indoor and outdoor dining, though remember they are in a strip mall so ambiance outside isn't what you are coming for. We saw some of the large burritos being made, and they would feed a hungry college boy for two meals, I swear. Pescado's also participates in the Brevard Blue Zone project, so there are menu items clearly posted that meet those guidelines.

Had a chicken burrito with Texas Pete's hot sauce and purple cabbage slaw and a new Sierraveza lager from Sierra Nevada My first visit and loving it! I came for sunrise cafe but glad they were closed so I could try Pescado's.

It's cafeteria-line style; you pick what you want & pay at the end of the line. Service was good, but the food didn't taste as fresh as I had anticipated. The $8 taco combo comes with a side of tortilla chips, queso & a drink. Plenty of free parking in the lot. Tip: ask for fresh jalapeños and add it to the queso!

I haven't been to Pescado's in a while, and I am glad I returned, it was just as I remembered, good quality food at a reasonable price. I had the steak quesadilla, and that is usually my choice when I visit. It was the perfect place for a quick lunch.

Not impressed. Food was stale, service was severely lacking, no ambiance to speak about.

Ordered delivery. Nachos were solid, came with a ton of house made chips, guacamole was good. Tacos were also good. Would order again!

For dinner I had the southwest blackened chicken Cobb salad which was very good as well. Prices were a little up there, but not too crazy. Service was a little slow (they were pretty busy at the time we went) but the server was well educated on the menu. The restaurant was nicely appointed, comfortable and they have a separate room for their bar.

I called over to the Square Root to check the kitchen timing (it was getting on 8) and all was well. We managed a seat at the bar and this was perfect for us. We chatted a bit with the servers, who were amazing. There is a ton enjoyment for the job and the space going on here. We also met some semi-locals who were awesome. Shout out to "Kendall-Jackson"! The menu is full of local ingredients and plenty of temptations. The specials were even more tempting and we grabbed oysters to kick it off. The pepper/spicy mignonette is so so good. It's just the right mix of classic and new. I didn't need the other sauce, especially with just 6 oysters. I eyed the yellowtail snapper (snapper, right? def not tuna) special, but opted for the Korean chicken sandwich. Quite good! I could have used a stronger flavor from the kimchi and, frankly, less of a mess, but the cook was just right, the flavor profiles were excellent, and the portion was plenty. A really good sandwich! I had the sweet potato chips as my side and I can see why they are popular. We kept the leftover sauces from the oysters just so I could dip my chips. Good call! She Said: I'd like to start by complimenting the fantastic staff. They've obviously been here a while, and they're enthusiastic about this place. He Said covered the oysters (yum!) and the mignonette (double yum!), so I'll focus on the mushroom tart that I got as my meal. The rough puff was really done well, and the mushroom and goat cheese combo was terrific. I thought they would be inside the pastry, but I adapted. The whole dish was terrific, and though I thought it was too salty for me, I also know that I'm sensitive to salt. All in all, we will definitely be back! Potty Points: no trip to the potty for me on this one!

If I could give this a higher score than 5 stars I would!…read moreOut of every place I've ever reviewed, this has definitely earned the #1 highest rating I could give. Everything about this place was absolutely exceptional. Starting with service! The woman that greeted us when we came in and took our order, is one of the sweetest ladies ever. I just kept telling my husband after each small interaction with her "oh my gosh I just love her". It's an incredibly warm and inviting space, and I wish we lived closer just to be able to experience that alone more often. But lord have mercy, the food? They knocked it out of the park!!! They have a huge menu with all sorts of stuff that you don't see super often. We got the Chicago dog, the BBQ burger, the sweet potato fries, onion rings, and a blackberry shake. Those sweet potato fries will have me dreaming about them until I can make my way back here. There's no amount of praise to do this place justice! All I can say is, if you haven't tried stopping by here for a meal, you absolutely need to!

I later added a vanilla shake which was another ten dollars. It was all good and the shake was fantastic but it was over $30 per person. For a hot dog shack! They literally have two $11 hot dogs...what? My daughter's Philly Cheese was a steak sandwich. Not thinly sliced steak but great honking chunks of steak. It was a tough sandwich to get down. Service was fast and friendly and the restaurant had a run down diner vibe. You could probably pare it down to $20 a person but that is still bonkers for sandwich and fries. I don't think we will be back but glad we tried it for sure!
