This dealership service department at Peruzzi is terrible. Bought a CPO CX5 with warranty in the spring, and GPS unit failed to function in cold weather once fall hit. I took the car in to Peruzzi service, explained the cold weather issue, and checked to see if they could validate the SD card and possibly update it for me since I was unable to do so via the Mazda utility. They told me they didn't have the ability to look at the card even though the car was under warranty, and offered no suggestions or alternatives. I asked again recently when visiting for a second factory recall service (the first they had managed to schedule and have me drive 45 minutes and show up for despite not even having parts to do the recall repair, a 3 hour waste of my time and workday) and the lazy service department staff gave me the exact same hands-off zero effort blow-off. Turns out I did get free help from an anonymous user on a random Mazda bulletin board - there was a Mazda service bulletin specifically addressing the problem (pre-dating my purchase of the CPO), calling out the exact lot number of my SD card and saying it would cause navigation to fail in cold weather! So had the Peruzzi service team actually lifted a finger and provided service when called upon to do so (or better yet done the CERTIFICATION step of their CPO process), my hardware would have been covered under warranty. Because of Peruzzi service department failure, the replacement SD card is $399.00. I spoke with the service department manager Travis and he told me he would give me a 10% discount on a replacement - no apology, no inquiry as to how my service visits went down, no nothing. Just his lame attempt to monetize on his service departments incompetence. This place has zero accountability whatsoever so a word to the wise, take your Mazda business elsewhere. Once Perruzi sells you your car, they don't seem to care about customer service and are brazen about it. read more

Car buying is a personal and involved process. It is a mental investment as much as a financial one. Peruzzi understands that. After trying at two other Mazda dealerships I was losing hope. As a longtime Honda customer I was willing to take a chance on a Mazda because the CX-5 rated so well. The first two dealerships left me feeling that I should return to Honda. I took one more shot with Peruzzi. I called and spoke with Tom on the phone. I told him the offer I wanted, which included a trade-in of one of my Hondas. Tom went through my numbers and said he would get back to me shortly. 20 minutes later he called back and said he could do the deal. I was still a little (a lot) skeptical (as I have heard this before) but told him I would stop by between 6:30 and 7pm (I already had the car I wanted to trade-in all cleaned up, the title, and checkbook from a failed follow-up visit to Hamilton Mazda that morning). I showed up at 6:50pm and a salesman (Doug) was waiting outside. Tom told him to keep an eye out for my vehicle. Doug had the car I wanted pulled up and ready to test drive. After getting a copy of my license we were off. At the same time they were checking into my trade-in. After the test drive we went back to Doug's desk and, here is the real shocker, they presented me an offer that exactly matched the numbers we spoke about on the phone! Imagine that! Within half an hour we closed the deal. While waiting for the financing to come through (Mazda was offering great financing options) Doug showed me a video of the car and then we sat in my new car as he showed me all the features - even syncing my phone to the Bluetooth system. It was quick and easy and both Tom and Doug were straightforward and a pleasure to deal with. Peruzzi helped give me some faith in Mazda. read more

After shopping for a 2015 Mazda 6 thru another dealer closer to my home, where I thought games were being played and I was being persuaded into a deal on a vehicle I didn't want... I decided to respond to the Peruzzi email updates I had been receiving. Thank the Lord I did! Tom Kay and Melissa Cochi told me to come up! Immediately when I arrived I noticed things weren't the same as other dealerships (and I have experience working as a salesman in a couple dealers) They had Doug Muro help me out with vehicle selection and he immediately pulled the car around for me to see, To confirm my interest and make sure it was the color and options I asked for. Tom Kay and the other Tom (sorry Tom I don't Remember your last name haha) , managers, were super helpful and Honest from the start! Like I had known them for years! I had a wonderful experience with Peruzzi Mazda. I wanted a mid sized car and was looking at the Honda Accord, Toyota Camry, and Nissan Altima. I also had my eye on a Mazda6 and had visited other Mazda dealers, so I decided to try Peruzzi to see what inventory they had and what kind of deal they could offer. The sales person was Shawn who was extremely friendly and courteous. We took a test drive and I expressed my interest. I then met Tom, the Manager, who offered me many options since I was leasing the car, i.e. monthly payments depending on the amount I would put down. I have never had more than one option offered to me in all the years that I have been buying a car. Tom was also very professional and courteous. Still I was not sure, so I told them I would think about it. The next day I decided to go with Peruzzi. Their professionalism made the deal and their options for monthly payments were perfect. We were under our own constraints to get a car right away but got a really good rate on a vehicle that we initially liked but after driving it a few days it was a little smaller than we expected. We came back and Dan, George and our Sales person Shawn were able to get us into something a lot nicer, bigger that had all the bells and whistles that we really were looking for in a car. The staff was extremely accompanying and attentive to our needs. They kept the payment about the same without really changing the terms of the finance contact. My Mazda 6 was at the end of its lease so I needed to turn it in. I didn't want to return to Faulkner Mazda because I had a terrible experience with them, so I thought I'd try Peruzzi. I was looking for a certified pre-owned 2014 white cx-5 touring and couldn't seem to find any with good mileage in my price range. Every other dealership wanted $3,000-$4,000 more than Peruzzi. The car was priced so fairly, I didn't have to waste my time haggling down the price. I ended up with such a good deal, I was able to purchase roof rails and have them installed before I drove the car off the lot. I just leased a CX-5 from Peruzzi and the experience was top notch. Jake Sommer was my sales guy and he went above and beyond every step of the way. There are way too many dealerships that just feel sleazy, and Peruzzi is NOT one of them. Jake was professional, knowledgeable, and was incredibly responsive to my (many) questions.
