They sold me a car that had a ton of problems!!! It was an older car, sure, but wow!!! Unreported accident damage covered up with fresh "repairs" that you couldn't see without the car in the air, and they "oops didn't have a lift right now." I'm a nursing student who needed a car very badly, so I bought it, my bad. But they scammed me. For so much more than it was worth. Just dropped my first thousand on a repair because I have no choice. Do not buy a car from these people or from Adam. It needs extensive extensive work. I felt ripped off when I left but I had no choice. Turns out it was 1000x worse than I thought. Edit: They replied to me on google and lied about what I paid. I was recently in the market for a new 2024 Mazda Cx 50. I did tons of research and emailed and texted with over 2 dozen dealerships. Two things really made this dealer and sales manager Jordan Haft and Alyssa Hartnagle stand out. One is there were no games when I was requesting out the door bids. They sent me their offers and backed them up with data in their rationale. The biggest thing is they were the first dealer after about 15 I dealt with who let me know there was an additional $1000 rebate opportunity that others had not shared. While I ultimately purchased at another dealer, I was really impressed with their transparency, responsiveness, and candor (they told me to take the offer I ended up getting elsewhere as it was a fabulous price). This business still has its sleazy operators (see some of the other reviews I left) so I think it's important to call out ones that operated with fairness. Terrible accountability at this dealership. I bought a certified pre owned CX-5 with a defective nav system (not too safe having navigation reboot 4 times while driving in Philly and needing to navigate). Service department said they didn't have equipment to troubleshoot issue. A few weeks later I discovered a service bulletin regarding defective SD cards for bag unit, My card was included in bad batch and I discovered this on my own, when it should have been something dealership was aware of before certifying the car as a CPO and selling it with defective hardware. I complained and manager offered me a 10% discount on a replacement card (399). Turns out a class action lawsuit was filed for same issues impacting nav system, but Mazda told me I had to pay for diagnostics to see if i was eligible for a free fix for an issue they acknowledged was present. Service department sucks, and frankly Mazda customer service is just as bad. Buy a different brand. read more

Trip to dealership last night - 7/19/25 to purchase a 2021 Mazda cx5 - Terrible salesman (Dave Rose)... terrible customer service... they clearly don't give a crap about their customers. Very Cocky. He let us walk out of the dealership after test driving two cars with not even an apology. NOTHING! We were ready to buy a car with check in hand and were not even negotiating on price (we were paying what they were asking). The Car clearly needed tires (you could feel the tread) and brakes (over 50,000 miles and had never been replaced). He also claimed this car was Mazda certified. He kept telling us that even though the carfax didn't say anything was replaced, they could tell that they were definitely replaced. That's funny - when buying a used car you use the carfax to determine what service has been done and when. The car was making a horrible noise when we took it out for a test drive. We told them if they replaced the tires (which was desperately needed) and the brakes and made the horrible sound go away(which we thought tires and brakes would solve the noise issue), we would drive the car home. He refused to do the right thing and make the car safe or right. He asked us to split the cost of tires and said no to new brakes. End of story. I was buying this car for my daughter (who had just been in a serious car accident) because I wanted her to be safe in a Mazda and now you want me to pay full price and give her a car with bad tires and brakes? Absolutely shocked at the way we were treated by our sales person and by a dealership that is "family run and owned". In their defense the only person who we spoke to was our sales guy. I don't even know who he spoke to about the issue with the car. I was so annoyed with his attitude that we just walked out. I guess he doesn't need to sell any cars. I called on 5/5/20 and spoke to the Theresa from Internet Sales. After she gave me the quote online I asked if I she could send me the quote to my email for my reference. She emailed me the quote with just the figures but did not include the Car, year or trim which all QUOTES include. I sent her email asking if she could include that info she sent it, after that I received a follow up email (see below) which was extremely rude and unwarranted. I brought my Lincoln MKS in for inspection and oil change on Friday 3/24/23. Steve called later that day to say it failed inspection due to rear rotors and brakes needing to be replaced, but they would need it another day as they needed to get parts. On Saturday 3/25/23 I called for update around 1 p.m. and spoke to Dan, he said they were working on it and having some issues. Dan called back at about 3 p.m. and said they were having trouble getting the calipers to make contact and needed more time. By the end of business Saturday I called as I hadn't heard from him. He said they wanted to try to bleed the brake line to see if that helped with contact before deciding to replace the calipers. Dan said the tech leaves at 4:30 so it won't be ready that day either. Mid-day Monday 3/27/23 I called again for status as I expected they would have bled the brakes then and been ready to move on. Steve called me an hour and a half later and told me the same information Dan gave me Saturday, that the calipers weren't making contact, but instead of bleeding the brake line as I was told they now have a call out to a Ford technician for advice since they don't normally work on my kind of car. Steve called back a short time later to say the calipers would need to be replaced. Then called again shortly later to say they were able to get the parts and work was complete. Although I was not happy with my experience this time around by the time it was all said and done I was happy to be getting my car back and ready to move on. However, when I got my car back the old inspection stickers were thrown on the floor and my driver side interior window film had welts in two areas that cannot be smoothed out. I brought it to Dan's attention and he didn't seem to care and stated he would inform his manager the next day, who also didn't seem to care as I never heard back from anyone. This is the second year that they have inspected this vehicle. I previously had a Mazda CX5 that was serviced there. I never had a problem with their service department in the past, they were communicative and got things done in a timely manner. I felt confident in continuing to use their services. However, this time around it took them three business days to complete the job and I had to call frequently for information as they didn't call me about progress, it would have been nice had they reached out. They clearly no longer care about quality customer service or take any pride in their work of work, very disappointing, I'd give zero stars if that were an option. read more

So I see a car on their site and inquire about it through chat, ask a couple of questions and didn't think I would be able to see it today so I said maybe tomorrow and thanked them. This time I asked about warranties and the like and was given a bunch of misinformation. The person in the chat goes, I'm sorry I just got a call from the dealership......Yes you heard right a sales agent from the dealership, just got a call from the sales department of the dealership to let he know the car was sold...Sure Long story short, if you inquire about a car, don't ask too many questions, don't call them out on their bs, and don't ask if the price is negotiable, or the call might be randomly "sold". I had such a bad experience as a potential repeat buyer here. They are my local dealer where I had my Mazda serviced and had purchased the car a few years ago here. The car I had to trade was in impeccable condition without a scratch on it, one owner, maintained meticulously. They refused to give me KBB value for my trade and told me I was running the KBB estimator wrong like I was stupid. I pushed back and they would not budge so I didn't buy my new car from them. I found my new Mazda about 45 min away in NJ and I'm happy to recommend Irwin Mazda for your Mazda purchasing needs. They gave me the KBB value of my trade which was thousands more than Peruzzi was giving me. It's a family owned small dealership with excellent customer service and no games, just smiles. This review is more of a forewarning to future buyers. I actually had an excellent interaction with my salesman. He was kind and courteous and didn't make me feel pressured into anything. Why am I giving a one star review then? Well for me it is the feeling of being taken advantage of. I drove my 2013 Kia into this dealership with the hopes of having fair trade in value. The car had moderate mileage and some minor scrapes and bruises. The car also had a slight pinging noise that I assumed was loose plastic or natural engine sounds. Upon arrival at the dealership I was informed that the car was going to have engine failure and the dealerships mechanics needed to check the engine. At this time the salesman and I looked for a new car, which was my intention the entire time. When it came to the negotiation of the trade in value I was informed that my car was only worth $325 because the engine was going to fail, and now I am stuck with either a poor trade in or a risk of being stranded roadside. I took the deal. I need to get to work. Fast forward to my first oil change and I see my old car sitting on the lot for sale for $10,000. Peruzzi never held a gun to my head and made me sign the deal. They saw a sucker and a chance to make some money off of that sucker. If you plan on buying from here you'll receive excellent customer service but don't let your guard down, or you'll be a sucker too. read more

Their customer service and support is the worst that I have ever experienced. I recommend going to another Mazda dealer for any service. They told me almost three weeks ago that they ordered a new rim for me and that it would be in by weeks end. No phone call on their part so I stop in and once again am lied to by the service manager.. "I was not here during the original order but we have them on back order and I will personally take care of it." What a lie, they dropped the ball and did not order the rim. Went to get my car serviced here back in March and it was returned to me with scratches. Brought the car back to try to resolve the damage, manager came out, took pictures. Told me he would get a hold of his detail department and get back to me. Never heard back. Called multiple times and was always told he was not physically present at Mazda service. Finally got a hold of corporate Mazda, heard back from the service manager today very condescendingly telling me that he did in fact call me back, that his attempt to wipe off the scratches when I brought it in so they could see the damage is the "best that they could do" and that in doing that he was "doing me a favor" and also that I know they were not "working anywhere in that area". Peruzzi Mazda was such a pleasure to work with! They were able to get me in for an appointment fairly quickly and provided me with a loaner car for several days. My steering wheel felt loose for months after I took it to Faulkner Mazda 3 times to correct mistakes they made when installing my Android Auto (burned dashboard, a scratched up dashboard replacement, etc.). It turned out that the technicians at Faulkner failed to put the two bolts back to secure my steering column when reinstalling my dashboard. As a result, my steering column was really messed up after driving it unknowingly for several months. I dreaded having to go back to Faulkner, so I let it go for a while until I felt it was very unsafe to drive. This repair would have cost me thousands of dollars, but Peruzzi was able to find a loophole and ensure that this repair would be covered under warranty. They communicated with me through every step of the process and my 2019 CX-3 came back to me as good a new! I would recommend going to this dealership for any service that is needed. read more

I told the salesman I didn't want to be there but I was there because my wife wanted to car shop. Paul Bogart was our salesman and was quite knowledgeable, genuinely friendly, not pushy or anything remotely like that, and made the experience actually enjoyable. Minor scratches inside the car on the panels around the shifter and where the window buttons are. I took videos and pictures for proof just in case. *When they inspected the engine they detailed the faded colors that I was describing above but they didnt do anything about the scratches. Dennis Burstein - He seemed like he was in a hurry to sell me that car. I was trying to read the contracts and he kept saying where to sign I felt pushed to sign the contract. Also, he closed the door on my girlfriends face when she was trying to walk in and locked the door?? What was that about? (DENNIS) is terrible at replying to emails! I called him today and he said to bring the car over and that they have a rental there for me. I drove 30 mins out of my way to go there. I got there and guess what they didn't have a rental so I had to go to Nissan and they gave me this ugly white car that was not cleaned! Joe Casey- I emailed him and called him twice and he still didn't get back to me. Maybe he was off who knows... (Other than that Joe is a very nice guy!) What I am mad about is that lost 2 days of work and I lost 3-4 hours of my day today because of the issue! They also said that 2 lenders said no to me next thing you know I received a letter from both of them saying I got an approval...... Easily the WORST buying experience anyone could imagine. TWO weeks after purchasing a CX-9, the front right wheel became super NOISY. My wife (and 2 kids) took to a mechanic nearly by who said ALL of the bolts were LOOSE except the locked nut. The service manager said that someone must have tried to steal it, even though the car was parked at the end of my 250 ft driveway in a town with a zero crime rate. THEN, after my temporary plates expired I checked to see when I should expect my registration in the mail that would match my old/transferred plates. NO RESPONSE. Then I tried another staff member who informed me that the registration packet was sent to my 1.5 year old address for some reason, but that I could go to the DMV with insurance and license and get a duplicate registration. NOT TRUE when your dealership doesn't process the paperwork properly.....DMV informed me that my plates were never transferred and I now need to go back to title company to get the process done properly. Shouldn't be my problem, but it was definitely MY FAULT for choosing PERUZZI MAZDA. PLEASE do not make the same mistake as it could be dangerous (loose tires) and a huge headache!! read more

I had service done on my mazda cx-5 on this monday and I am terribly disappointed at their service. Since I bought the vehicle from Peruzzi, I wanted to bring my car for a free service and they assured me that my service would be free. But after I brought my vehicle, they told me that the service would be done for free but they showed me an air-filter and told me they had to change it and the total cost would be around $90 ($28 for air filter and $62 for installing the air filter). I did not know initially that the air filter hardly costs $20-$25 and I was shocked they charged me $62 labor charge for installing it. Moreover, the airfilter on my car didn't even look that bad and my car had only 20k miles on it. I could've gone without having it changed for another 10k miles. I seriously think this is another way you try to get the customers overpay for something they don't need. I have seen the procedure for installing the air filter later and I am truly disappointed at the labor charge you have billed me to just installing the air filter. Anyone who is familiar with changing air filter will know that $62 labor charge is absurd for changing just oil filter. I would never come back to Peruzzi again and I wouldn't recommend any one to Peruzzi. read more
