She bought a Honda Clarity…read moreTouring car from them 7 years ago. the transmission failed and they wanted to charge her $12,000 dollars to fix it and that was if they could find one. reason being they only made this model for 2 years and parts were not readily available. they did manage to find one but she was scheptical about doing that because what else will go wrong and maybe they wouldn't be able to fix it. this car only had 29,000 miles on it at 7 years old and the Transmission went ????? she decided to trade it in for another car but wanted them to give her a good trade in price since she paid a lot of money for a car they can't repair. They had the nerve to offer her $3000 dollars for a trade in, so she demanded her keys and was going to go to Toyota. they then turned around and offered her $6000. she was so disgusted she took it and got a Civic. when I home I looked at reviews on the Clarity and saw that she was not the only one to have Transmission issues with that car. Funny Right !! The best is I took my Nephew to pick up his car because he had a repair done on it. when leaving the parking lot I saw her car driving out onto Route 1.Someone was test driving it. My Sister looked it up and they are selling it for $18,000. this car was taken very good care of by my sister. it was serviced consistently . Brand new Tires , oil changes etc. She loved that car. everyone in her family bought Honda's from them and she was treated like crap in my estimation. I would never buy a car from that dealership if that is how they treat a good customer. Disgusted from Levittown

I had been looking into getting a car for years but was nervous about my credit and also buying a lemon and being overcharged. I was looking for places online and just happened to find DriveTime by chance. I did my application online, which gave me an idea of what my minimum down payment would be, which was SUPER low, and shortly after, I made an appointment with a rep via the website's chat. I came into the location a few days later and worked with Emeka on getting a car. He was very honest about his recommendations and helped me tremendously in not only finding a vehicle, he also helped me find insurance that was not going to overcharge me as a first time car owner. And the best part was, taxes and tags were included in the down payment, so I drove off the lot that same night!! They have been nothing but helpful at this location and I cannot thank them enough for their help with my first car purchase. If you're looking for a reasonable down payment, great car selections, and wonderful customer service, I HIGHLY recommend them! P.S. they even help build your credit!

Less than six months ago, I purchased a 2017 Hyundai Tucson from this dealership for my daughters to share. Recently the service light came on, and after bringing the vehicle in for service at Fred Beans Hyundai (as recommended by the Kia service department), I was told the car needs a complete transmission replacement costing over $3,300. A major mechanical failure like a transmission should not occur within six months of purchasing a vehicle. This raises serious concerns about the condition of the vehicle when it was sold and about the dealership's inspection process. Vehicles sold by dealerships marketed as fully inspected and reliable, yet here we are facing a major failure almost immediately. After doing some research, I also discovered that transmission issues with the 2017 Hyundai Tucson have been widely reported. As a customer, I had no way of knowing this history when purchasing the vehicle, but a dealership that sells cars for a living certainly should be aware of common problems associated with certain models. What has been most disappointing is the complete lack of support from the Fred Beans organization. When I reached out, I was essentially told there was nothing they could do. The Kia dealership and Hyundai dealership--both part of the same Fred Beans company--seem unwilling to work together in any meaningful way to help a customer dealing with a major failure shortly after purchase. To be clear, I was not asking for a free repair or a new vehicle. I simply hoped the dealership would show some level of customer service and work with me toward a reasonable compromise given the circumstances. Instead, the response was dismissive and left me entirely on my own with a $3,300 repair bill. Situations like this are exactly when a dealership has the opportunity to show integrity and stand behind the vehicles they sell. Unfortunately, that did not happen here. At this point, it feels like once the paperwork is signed, customer support from Fred Beans disappears completely.

The paint on my vehicle began peeling in sheets, exposing bare metal, even though the car was well maintained and garage‑kept. This isn't an isolated issue. Thousands of owners have reported the same problem across multiple models. Consumer complaint data shows: * Most affected color: Snow White Pearl (SWP) * Typical failure window: 3-6 years after purchase * Nature of defect: Paint separates from the primer layer, not caused by chips or impact * Estimated repaint cost: $2,000-$6,000 out of pocket On top of the paint problems, my engine burns oil at an unacceptable rate -- another issue many Kia owners report. A modern engine should not require constant top‑offs or risk long‑term damage. Between the defective paint and the engine problems, I will never buy another Kia again. A manufacturer should stand behind its product, and Kia simply hasn't.
