Things went pretty smooth today considering it was a Memorial Day Saturday, though maybe more customers were on vacation than staff which is what I was concerned about. Usually no one wants to work, but maybe they actually have responsible staff. I only needed 1 tire and I did make an appointment, and luckily I was out in 30 min as they may have actually prioritized me over those who may have left their vehicles for the day... I usually hang out in the waiting room, especially for something so minor. But I have been known to be waiting most of the day at these places, also I had looked at the reviews before choosing this location. read more

Went on vacation and came back to two rear tires almost completely flat. I commute regularly and have gotten screws and nails stuck on my tires before. The place I usually go to (Tire City) had a two hour wait so I called around and Firestone said they could see me right away. While I was waiting to be called in by Tire City, I ran over to Firestone. I gave them my keys and waited. After they looked, they said that my treads were worn to the wear bars on my rear tires and they would suggest getting two entirely new tires. There's no way this is true. I purchased an entire set of four Cooper tires less than two years ago. I know my tires have an 80k warranty and less than 50k miles on them. Again, I do commute, so the treads were worn more than average, but nowhere near gone. They then said if I came in the back they'd show me, so I walked back. Then the tech told me I need FOUR new tires, and due to a previous plug in the one tire, could not patch me up. He also said my rear driver shock was going... car is a 2013 but it doesn't even have 100k miles. He didn't even mention repairing my current tires. This was all too much, so I took my car and went back to Tire City. When they took a look, they said the treads were getting there but not worth replacing. They pulled one screw out of one tire, and a nail out of the other in 20 mins. I was patched up for free and sent on my way, totally repaired. As a single female under the age of 30 that entered this place alone, I cannot BELIEVE I was given the run-around on this. There was absolutely nothing unrepairable about my tires, as Tire City repaired them both for free. Firestone wasted their own time and my time, and tried to take advantage of me 100%. Really sad to see this day and age. Will never return. read more

They are a busy auto service shop but do all they can to service your automotive needs at reasonable prices. They recently replaced one of the tires on my son's leased Jetta plus they changed the synthetic Oil all at a fraction of the cost as to what The VW dealer wanted to charge. read more

Screw this place. Seriously. I was in a bind today. I'm supposed to take my car out of town tomorrow, and something came up with my car. I had to be at work all day today, so no time to take it anywhere. Firestone happens to be in walking distance of my work, so I called them. They told me to come on in, so I did. When I got there, I was completely ignored for 10 minutes as the same employee repeatedly walked past me. When he finally acknowledges me, he refuses to take my car, saying they're busy, keeps telling me to bring it back tomorrow. I repeatedly kept explaining the situation, and at this point I'm now late for work. Guy absolutely refuses to take my car. So now I had to rent a car at the last effing minute, so now I'm wasting $100+ on that. Should never have told me to come in and then tell me they're too busy. This place was my only option. Seriously, screw this place. read more

I have been coming here for years and have noticed the quality of work has been slipping and excuses increasing. I few weeks ago I brought my vehicle here to have a tire replaced. A few weeks later after having the tire replaced, I had to have it removed for a brake job and the mechanic working on it (not Firestone) could not get the tire removed. I then drove back to this location and pleaded that they loosen the lug nuts on the tire and re-torque. After much haggling, they placed me in a bay. While the technician was working on the car, the Manager happened to stop by, and I told him that the lug nuts were over tightened and that the current service tech was trying to loosen them. The Manager immediately scoffed at the idea that they were over tightened, said they torque to spec and just walked away. After nearly 20 mins (using a breaker bar, impact driver, etc...), the technician finally managed to loosen the lug nuts for me. The technician did admit that the previous technician overtighten the lug-nuts, no doubt about it, and that they should not have been this hard to remove. He even demonstrated for me how easy they were to remove after he re-torqued the lug-nuts. There are many mechanic shops in the area that will spare you the attitude and get things done right the first time. Needless to say, I don't plan on brining my vehicles to this location again. The Manager neglected to follow-up on my complaint and I doubt any corrective action will be taken to alleviate future customers from this ordeal. read more

I use Firestone's a lot for my daily driver, customer service at this location is highly disappointing. I'll take my business elsewhere.

I am really disappointed with this location. I usually go to the Feasterville location and this location does not compare at all. The building is old and dated and the waiting area is disgusting! The couch they have for you to sit on is covered in stains, I didn't even want to sit on it. I stopped in to ask a question about having my breaks checked. I was told it will cost 19.99. I got a weird feeling after they said that because the staff members gave each other a look and it seemed as though they were making the price up. I searched their website and break checks are actually free. They are trying to rip me off. I do not feel like I can trust any recommendations they may have for my car. I am highly disappointed and would never return to this location again read more

I am very happy with the service at this Firestone location. We have six cars in our house, and have signed each one up for the Lifetime Alignment package, which costs around $180 per car. They have never tried to force a sale down my throat, and have honored the lifetime alignment every single time. We have had tires installed here too. Great service & honesty is what keeps me coming back. read more

Holy crap, this place is fantastic! so, earlier in the week Mario Andretti, otherwise known as My Wife, slammed into a pothole and bent the rim on one of her tires. She took it to Firestone and they banged it out and didn't charge her. This was so unexpected that I decided I had to bring my car in to get the tires checked. I haven't had new tires in awhile and one of them has had a slow leak for the past several months. I asked them to replace that tire and to look over the others just in case. They actually were able to FIX my tire with the slow leak and said that the rest of my tires were good to go. So, I gave them the opportunity to ring my bell for hundred of dollars and I walked out with a 20 dollar charge, Go to this place! read more

We took our van in for new tires Saturday, January 29th, after already going in the week before to make sure the tires we had were in stock. We dropped off the van, they had it for 6 hours. We got it back, paid the dues and brought it home. I went to check the tire pressure on all 4 and every single rim is COVERED in fresh deep scratches! This is a new van, only 20,000. I don't know what they did but I am livid!!! 4 rims scratched all over. For $1,000 worth of work/materials this shouldn't happen. I am SUPER happy with this place! I brought my car here a few months ago for state inspection, and it was done in the time quoted, and their price was the best I found of the handful of places I called. Amber at the front desk was very nice and personable. Fast forward to today, my car has been having problems starting once or twice in the past two weeks, so when it happened again, I brought it back to Firestone. I didn't make an appointment, but they still quoted me an hour to check it. Within an hour, Amber called me and told me she had good news: I just had a loose battery connection, so all they had to do was tighten it! I was THRILLED since I was imagining a faulty starter or battery replacement issue, that would be costly. When I went to pick up my car, it was even better. I reached to grab my wallet to pay, and Amber just said "no, don't worry about it, there's no charge for just tightening the connection." I was floored. I actually said "i love you guys" and wanted to hug her!! Just like the review before me said, they had plenty of opportunity to charge me an arm and a leg, and look what they did instead. Simple amazing. It just goes to show, they must be doing well based purely on their great customer service and their honest work ethic!! I will absolutely be a client for life! THANK YOU!! read more

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. I have lived in the area for 6 years, and this is the closest Firestone to me. The first time I brought my car there, I left it right before closing with an early day appointment the next day. The car was STILL not done by the time they closed the next day. They have also screwed an oil cap on incorrectly so that another location had to break the cap the next time I got an oil change. They failed to clip the plastic cover underneath the car back on properly causing it to fall mostly off when I drove on the highway. Most recently they broke a headlight while changing the oil. I usually go to Feasterville but it's farther for me and I didn't have time today. I am officially DONE with this location. read more

Not sure why the other reviews are negative. The auto repair business is definitely a business that is complicated. As in any business there's always a black eye given some past experience or someone was ripped off. I would know as I worked for New Jersey consumer affairs doing a sting operation of fully functioning vehicles and bring them to garages to see what they say was wrong. I have been coming to Firestone for over 10 years never had a problem. They've always been quick efficient and accommodating. Pricing is always fair and the front desk will spend as much time as they need consulting you on their expert advice working within your budget. Pricing is always fair not like a lot of the dealers who ripped you off on the same product. A Nice perk is to sign up for the Firestone card for automatic free rotation as well as complete 10 point check, fluid top off, and the many coupons you receive. Hats off to the team that includes Jeremy, manager Steve, Mike and all the technicians. This is been a harsh winter and a are doing the best they can to keep you safe on the roads. If you don't like it go to your dealer and spend the day there waiting, overpay for marked up products. Just don't blast these guys when you driving with your beater your battery is corroded. Unfortunately it's the uneducated individual. Who waits until the last moment for a harsh winter and complains when things break because they never kept up on their own vehicle. read more

This center has become the worst,everytime I go for state inspection I will be notified about some major problem and they will not pass the inspection unless you get it fixed, which will be at least $1000. Even after "the problem" gets fixed you will still feel as if nothing is done. Please don't go to this service center or else you will drive a lemon for sure... Beware, they will try to rip you off! I brought in my car for a service check. Firestone stated my front light was broken and needed to be replaced. Once I got the car back, I noticed they didn't fix the light but charged me with parts and labor. Brought this to their attention and they said I need a new fog lamp or I won't pass inspection. Why would they first tell me that I needed a new bulb and now say that I was supposed to get a new fog lamp? If I pay $200, they will 'deduct' from what they had charged me earlier. Ridiculous. This place is horrible! My father brought in my car and his car for inspection and tires and front end alignment. My father has dementia and did this without my knowing otherwise I would have been there from the beginning. The guy at the counter told me after the fact that he could tell there was something wrong with my father because he kept asking the same questions over and over again. Knowing this he decided to take advantage of my father by doing more work than needed to be done, and having my father open up a credit card and charging the work on the new credit card. My father has never used credit cards in his life. So I know that this man, Chris I believe his name is, took advantage of my father and his confusion to open up this credit card and put the high charges on it. I know from hearing stories that older people are targets for scumbags to take advantage of and now I'm seeing first-hand that this is true. If you believe in morals and values in dealing with a business, I would not use Firestone Oxford Valley. read more

went to get oil change and tire rotation. got a firm price from man at the desk and was in total agreement with that price, since I had other chances to get the same service at other shops, but I was there and the guy at the desk gave me a walk out the door price which I liked since most of these places charge you for a whole lot of extras before you walk out. my problem with them came after I asked the person that was going to change the oil and rotate tires if he could please check one tire that has been slow leaking for quite a while since he would have the tires off the car anyway. I asked him if he could just spray it with water or dip it in the water tank they use to check for leaks. I did not want it fixed I just wanted to know if it had a rim bead leak, which I would have had them fix if that was the case. it turned out it he informed me that it was leaking from a slow leak from a previous repair that another store did. I told him thank you and I would take care of it. all was fine until the bill came and I saw they charged me $11.00 to just dip it in the water tank while the tires were off the car. I could not believe they did that since it was a very easy thing to do, taking just 2 or 3 minutes at most. I then told them I was not going to pay that since I thought it was insane to charge that much for such a simple thing that most places do as a courtesy, if they have the tires off the car. after refusing to pay for that item the guy told me he would call the cops. my wife got upset and said just pay it. if I was alone I would not have cared if he called the cops, I would have just explained. anyway I then told the desk man I would never do business there again and he said that was fine. when I got into it with the guy that worked on the car his reason for the charge was he had to get paid for carrying the tire to the water tank and did I think he should not get paid for his labor. $11.00 to do that. I told him I do handyman work and drive to customers homes at my gas and time and do not get the jobs all the time, that I guess I was just different. this was just an FYI to anyone reading this that they did do the oil change right but if you expect anything done as a courtesy for just good business, this is not that place. just pay for what you ask for, expect no favors. read more
