Update: A few months after owning the vehicle we realized we purchased a vehicle with a bad transmission. They do not sell the cars with warranties and aren't clear about that during purchase I had to ask during the end of the process. However, you are welcome to purchase a warranty from them. I'm glad I purchased a 3rd party warranty from a different company for my car otherwise I'd be paying over $3000 for a remanufactured transmission. I read reviews that this dealership was selling lemons but I had faith and this turned out to be a big mistake. I cannot complain about the service here or the approval process but my recommendation is not to purchase your car here unless you invest in a bumper to bumper warranty or have money for costly repairs. read more

Scam!!!! my 23 yr old daughter bought a pick up truck for $12,000 that had a good carfax report. A month later she took it to our mechanic because car shook. He told her it was a "piece of junk" , " completely rusted " and "not drivable". I called and asked Patrick ( he would not disclose his last name to me even though he is an employee) to replace the truck with a drivable truck. She is in the air force and is being deployed soon. Patrick asked me "what type of mother was I who let my daughter buy a car by herself." No!! I'm not making this up!!! I think that's an admission of guilt!!! lol. They do not care about you or your family. They don't care if they would have sold you a car and it broke down tomorrow, and also that you just had a family member die the same day. You need a rental? They will NOT help you while they keep your car in the shop for weeks. They did not call me or my husband once with an update. We had to call everyday. We had to pay two weeks for a rental car. We have kids so a car is a need and a must have. This is the worst place to have take care of you. If you enter this dealership you are in horrible hands. My husband and I were told after we put a down payment of 5,000 dollars down and the dealership needed one piece of paper that was a document from being a Veteran. They told my husband if he didn't get that paper to the dealership they keep our 5,000 dollars and the car is no deal. Patrick the finance manager is extremely unprofessional and he has no room to work with you. When we took the car on a test drive the tires were sooo old that we hit one bump and two of the tires exploded and that left all 3 of us sitting on the side of the highway. The car has broken pieces and even with the popped tires couldn't even give us any money off the vehicle . It is very unprofessional!! When we asked to speak to the owner he told us that would not be a good idea and then after we insisted he told us he was on vacation. I can't believe we are coming here to spend 12000$ and they tell us we can't ask the owner questions and only give us 22 miles of gas range left in the car too test drive. When I drove the f350 I was looking to purchase I heard a bumping in the back and there was a code for low fuel line pressure. They stated their "mechanic" would look at it and would let me know when it would be ok. The "mechanic" stated the bumping sound was nothing more than the spare tire which he tightened, and that the fuel line would be repaired. Purchased the truck a week or so later. I Was given a 500 dollar discount by the salesperson. The GM, Jeff was the one who did the paperwork with me. He was saying that because the salesperson gave me the discount that I would have to pay for the warranty which was never told to me. I informed Jeff I was not going to accept the vehicle from a used car dealership without a warranty and that I felt it wasn't right for me to have to pay for the warranty just because I received a discount. Jeff even called his salesperson to confirm that I was not told I would have to purchase the warranty due to a discount and I am thankful the salesperson was honest. Eventually (with some heated discussion) he did sell me the truck at the discount and give me the warranty which I appreciated. I took the vehicle to get inspected and the bumping sound that their mechanic was saying was the spare tire was actually a busted rear cab mount. It was required to be fixed for inspection. I called B&D and was given to Jeff who stated that I had been "given a discount" of 500. I informed Jeff that discount was not in case the truck was messed up, and that it was the deal I had made with the salesperson. Jeff informed me to contact the warranty company but he wasn't sure that piece was covered. I was attempting to explain that I brought the issue of the truck up the first test drive and his "mechanic" had misdiagnosed the issue (or ignored it). I asked what would be done if it wasn't covered under warranty and Jeff stated he would not assist. Buy from here at your own risk. In previous reviews, B&D auto has responded by saying to call the shop and that they would assist how they could. I can assure you this isn't true simply by my own experience. I give 2 stars for the honest salesman who told his supervisor the truth and who gave me the deal :) let me also inform you that all of the good google reviews are because they give you a wawa gift card for a good review at purchase. Patrick was extremely unprofessional! First of all, I went in to look at a bmw for myself with my grandmother, boyfriend, and his dad. Patrick constantly cut me off and interrupted me, and would turn to the men to ask questions instead of me... the one buying the car!! He dismissed every concern I addressed. He was completely unwilling to answer my very valid questions.. and denied giving me any contact information for the owner of the dealership. The car itself- there are pieces broken that cost hundreds to replace, a cracked speaker, it was dirty, etc. When I went to test drive it, there were 26 miles in the gas tank.. and two people were supposed to test drive on that? They assured me they would put some gas in it, but made it clear "they would not be filling it up all the way". One of the other salesmen rode with and directed me which way to take it. I drove maybe 3 miles before getting onto the highway, where I went over ONE pothole and immediately two tires failed. One completely blew out and the other was ripped... so they had me test drive a car with dry rotted tires (they admitted to me the car has been sitting for over two years!) and 26 miles left in the tank.. so all four of us were stranded on Rt.1. When we got back, Patrick made it clear there was NO wiggle room or negotiation on price.. even with all of the car's faults. I asked if I were to purchase the vehicle, if they would replace the four tires with tires of my choice.. Patrick said NO, and had no explanation for why. Patrick also admitted to me that they do the cheapest work to the cars possible and use the cheapest Materials available.. said if I brought it in for work they would do the most cost effective work... regardless if I was paying for their warranty or not. Which mind you their "warranty", is paid over the whole course of your car payments, but you only have it for a year LOL. It was obvious they do not care about making any sales. With that attitude and no negotiation for it's quality.. that car will sit for years more. Patrick also proceeded to cut my question off with "well when you're complaining about a car"... condescending me. Overall this place is extremely sketchy (they didn't even ask for my insurance to test drive their car.. yikes!!), terrible business structure and customer service. Horrible experience, I recommend you stay away from these guys. They will tell you anything to close the deal and even write it down, but in the end they will do whatever they can to back out of their promises. It's been a month and they still don't have the vehicle inspected, yet they have full payment. Every phone call is met with some excuse or a promise to call back with an answer that never happens. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. I should have followed my instincts when I initially worked with Patrick. He was supposed to call me back after communicating with the financing Bank about including a warranty. He never called back, I called the dealership and was told the car was sold. I then asked for a manager who was busy and I was told he would call me back. A few days passed and no return call so I call back to the dealership and spoke to the manager Jeff. I informed him of my unpleasant experience and he has Patrick apologize, which was not sincere. To make a long story short; Against my better judgment I work with Jeff and purchase the car. I pay the car off within 2 months and receive a call from Jeff asking for additional 303.30 for fees. I informed him that the backup camera and one of the TVs didnt wprk and he knew it but tried to pretend as if he didn't know how to turn the TV on. I also informed him that I was not paying any additional money because he gave me a total, i put down almost 9k and he said it included fees tags and tax. Plus i has already paid off the car. He then says he would confirm that the car is paid off and send me back 1100.00 and change then I could get my tags myself. The last time I spoke to Jeff was 7/31 he claimed he could've get Carvant (finance company on the phone to confirm) which was a lie because I could get through every time I call without a wait. Today is now 8/11 and Ive been calling Jeff for the past week and he keeps forwarding my call. I can even drive my car because the temporary tags have expired and the dealership never processed my permanent tag request. This place is unprofessional, unpleasant, misleading, rude, and LIARS. Purcased a greatly priced S550 Benz put down 8800 plus was told it covered all taxes, tags, and sales tax. paid off in 2 months. I purchased a Ford expedition from them in 2016 at thier NJ location. I was completely misled and the vehicle was misrepresented. The brake lines broke while I was driving due to rust and the frame was rusted through. There were pieces of metal screwed in to the side of the vehicle and painted over to hide damage. I took them to court and won a judgement of over 8000 after proving consumer fraud. I have not recieved a cent. We are currently in appeals because, Jeff refuses to make good on the judgment. The argument for appeal is that he obtained loss after returning the finance company's money when they backed out of the loan. That's absurd because, he patched the car up and resold it to some poor unsuspecting buyer after that. I have offered to settle the debt for about a 1/3 of the judgement and no response back yet from his lawyer after multiple attempts to settle. This offer is no longer valid. I will be seeking the full judgment. I have a bank levy writ and I will be utilizing all of my legal options. I served them in May with an information supeana and no response. I will be filing a motion to enforce litigants rights regarding the supeana as well. This company has a long history of bad deals. Please don't be another unsatisfied customer. purchased a BMW 530i B&D Automotive on. I had put a deposit from my CCard and an additional in cash making my total deposit/ payment well over $4000. The sales manager at the time named Joe (he works directly under Jeff) that my financing had went through. 3 weeks later I get a call from B&D Auto's Joe to come back in and go over additional paperwork. As I set my keys on the table. Joe takes my keys and tells me my financing did not get approved. I asked for a refund of my deposit. Jeff and Joe said no I am only allowed a credit of $3800 towards a future purchase, I will not get my money back. As of yesterday I have been trying to reach Jeff the owner of the Philadelphia, PA and Burlington, NJ locations for over 5 months to no avail. I spoke to him yesterday, for an update he told me that he doesn't have a record of my full deposit (I have receipts) and that I am not entitled to a refund, or 100% of my dealership credit because it has been 10 months since the initial transaction, and they have overhead cost in regards to cars, is what Jeff stated, but if I want to purchase a vehicle from them then I need to bring an additional $1,500!!!! They will not give me my money, and told me I am not entitled to it because of additional cost they had! And to make it worse, when they took the careback from me, they sold it to someone else a week later! If that aint shady I don't know what is!!!! I was going to let it go... My boyfriend bought a car here. Here is the back story, my boyfriend could pay the car in full but he wanted to finance some of it to build his credit. He got approved, and drove off in the car. That was a Monday, by Thursday he noticed the brakes were bad, you sign paperwork stating that you should call then if you are having issues, so he called and they were VERY Rude about it. We had plans that weekend so he paid for new brakes all around. The next Monday comes around and Jeff called stating that the bank had issues with his approval..no problem.. My boyfriend sent updated paystubs. Then Jeff called back and accused my boyfriend of fraud and asked who made the paystubs for him.. Like what!?! What kind of customer service is this?! So at that point my boyfriend just said forget it, I'll just pay it off. They threatened him and said he had to be at the office at 10am Friday morning. Boom, my boyfriend showed up and paid the car in FULL. I'm almost postive they profiled my boyfriend and just figured he was trying to scam them but little did they know he is a black man that can pay for the car in full. But... That wasn't good enough, Jeff kept calling saying they he owes MORE money, no sorry there was a MISUNDERSTANDING, no sympathy or anything just a demand to come back in the office because they sold the car at a wrong price. .. Like what?!?!?! We have paperwork stating that 0 balance is owed. Sir, we paid the car in cash money.. Just crazy. Mind you, my boyfriend's dad died the Friday morning he paid off the car. Please do not buy a car from this Dealership!! My 18 year old son wanted a car and found it online, we called the Dealership and was told by Patrick the car comes with a 3 month unlimited mileage warranty. My son and a friend went to go pick up the car and was told to sign all the paperwork which he did, when he arrived home I noticed they had him sign the warranty paper that had the box checked No Warranty Sold as is, when I called Patrick he said they check that box because they do not have a garage on their property but have your mechanic inspect car and if there's anything wrong it will be taken care of. There were multiple things wrong with the car that Patrick told me was clean and in great mechanical condition! First check engine light came on when you turned off traction control, oil leak which ruined the engine then when I called them and told them what was wrong they told me there was No Warranty! You really think I would buy a car for $14,800.00 if they told me there was no Warranty!?! Please read all the reviews they are Scammers!!
