Best Peruvian bakery in Orlando. In case you missed it, Peru won the 2025 World Cup for best breakfast dish with 12.8 million votes across social media, beating Venezuela in the final!! And this is the only place in Orlando that serves the winning dish - the chicharrón breakfast sandwich! The chicharrón breakfast sandwich does not disappoint. It's flavorful, salty, the shaved onions bring a welcome light and crispy touch. The Peruvian sauce is spicy and sweet. We enjoyed the cheese and Aji de gallina empanadas too. So unique to Peruvian flavors. Don't miss out on these. It's a very laid back vibe for a quick bite with friendly staff who answered my many questions before deciding what to get. They have so many yummy goodies can't wait to come back soon.

The sign felt and no one bother to lift it up

Unfortunately, this place has gone seriously downhill, and my recent visit was a huge disappointment. The cappuccino was served in a cup with a visible coffee stain from a previous drink, which immediately raised concerns about cleanliness. To make things worse, a sign fell on the floor near our table and no one bothered to pick it up even after our food was delivered. Once our food arrived, no one came back to check on us. My utensils accidentally fell to the ground, and since no one returned, I had no choice but to continue eating with just my knife. The bread was warmed but clearly not fresh hard as a rock. The food overall tasted old, like it had been prepared days earlier and reheated. Considering the prices are not cheap, this is unacceptable. The environment didn't help either. The staff attitude felt indifferent, and while there was one very kind gentleman working there, he was clearly overwhelmed by the crowd. The overall atmosphere was uncomfortable customers using loud and inappropriate language making it not a place I would feel comfortable sitting with my 14-year-old teen. What's ironic is that the dessert counter looks beautiful, full of tempting options, but after this experience, it makes me seriously question the quality and freshness of everything behind that display. A year ago, this was a place I would recommend with my eyes closed. Today, I hesitate to suggest it to anyone. With the current quality, service, and pricing, it feels like a waste of money. I truly hope management takes notice and restores the standards this establishment once had because right now, it's a shadow of what it used to be.

Always a great time to get lunch here with my coworkers. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Even when they are busy. The spot is amall but they make it work. Beautiful simple decor and decently priced items. The space is open enough to move around.

These Peruvian empanadas are absolutely delicious! The Lomo Saltado and Aji De Gallina empanadas were my favorites. Everything is fresh and tasty. The service is very helpful and they explain the menu items very well. The ambiance is a small bakery with limited seating but they do offer a great lunch special! Highly recommend.

I've been coming to Peruanisima Bakery for several months now, and I truly believe it's a hidden gem that more people should know about. I originally found out about this spot through my girlfriend's mother, who has been a regular since it opened. My go to is the Lurin Breakfast, which comes with a chicken tamal, sweet potato fries, chicharron, fresh bread, and pickled red onions. You can eat everything separately, but I like to combine it all into a sandwich, it's absolutely delicious! This past Sunday, I tried their aji de gallina and lomo saltado empanadas for the first time, and they instantly became my new favorite empanadas. What really stood out was how packed the filling was, every bite was full of flavor. Highly recommend trying these if you're a fan of empanadas. The bakery is small, so I've only had the chance to eat inside once, but I typically order my food to go. Either way, the food is worth it!

I had them on my list to try, since I saw the sign when they were still setting up in the plaza. It sure is a nice addition to the area, as you can get a variety of baked goods, empanadas and specials from Peru or similar to other Latin American goodies. The staff is nice, friendly, attentive and will answer any questions you may have or make suggestions. The shop is small but there is some seating inside and a couple of tables outside. I wanted an empanada and a sweet treat, so I ordered the chicken empanada (they are baked, which I like better than fried) and a pan de yema. Both were very tasty, fresh, made to order and good quality. If you are around the area, definitely stop by and check them out!

As a Peruvian, I was excited about the new Peruvian bakery opening in Altamonte Springs. I bought Peruvian tamales and empanadas from the owner for years before she opened the bakery. I love having a Peruvian bakery close to home. If you are not familiar with Peruvian baked goods or breakfast, I recommend starting slow and sharing some of the items. Here you can find a variety of sweet and salty pastries and other baked goods. Remember that these are Peruvian styles, so empanadas and tamales will be different from other Latin American cultures. I ordered the Desayuno Lurin ( Lurin Breakfast) is a traditional breakfast with a tamal, sweet potatoes slices, pork ( chicharron), and fresh french bread. This is my absolute favorite and the first thing I order when I go back to Peru. The portion is large, so I recommend sharing. To enjoy this platter better, you need to cut the bread and fill it up with sweet potatoes, chicharron, and pickled onion. My second favorite is the empanadas, especially the beef and lomo saltado. In Peru, we squeeze a little bit of lime into our empanadas. That's my tip. There are also desserts including some with lucuma ( a fruit that doesn't grow here in the States). The flavor is hard to describe, but it is my favorite. It is good! If you want a whole Peruvian experience, order an Inca Kola or a chicha morada. The place is small, only a few tables available outside and a couple outside. I recommend ordering to go if you don't want to wait for a table. The space resembles a traditional neighborhood bakery in Peru where you only go to pick up. Peak days are on weekend mornings as everyone wants their Lurin Breakfast. Service is great. Everyone is super nice and friendly. Prices are reasonable too. There are Peruvian food items to purchase available too.

This is something that I would recommend 10 out of 10 if you want to try new authentic traditional food, this Peruvian restaurant is gorgeous stunning the display is amazing and the food is a 10 out of 10.

The food was good but a bit on the pricey side. It also took over 30 minutes to get our order and there was not enough room to eat inside or out. To be fair, there was a very large group outside that seemed to be pretty high maintenance. If the prices were more reasonable and they get their system down, I'll try again because the food is good.

Best Peruvian empanadas I've tried so far! I'm Peruvian, and finding good Peruvian empanadas is honestly a struggle... They also have Ají De Gallina and Lomo Saltado empanadas! They were both delicious I ordered the typical Desayuno Lurin and really enjoyed it! Staff was friendly, they were busy and my order took a little longer than I wanted... I recommend placing your order over the phone if you're not going to be dining in. If you're a dessert lover then you're in luck because they also have a huge variety of Peruvian desserts! Ambiance 4/5: the place is small but very cute.

I really like going to Peruanísima if I need a taste of home. Their chicharron sandwiches are BOGO on Tuesdays which is a great offer. I always get their butifarra sandwich cold, it tastes better that way. I wish they would give more sauce to eat it with the sandwich. I like to also get a chicken empanada, because the flavors are delicious. The restaurant inside is cute and has vibrant colors. The service is always nice and attentive. I highly recommend this place if you want a treat from Peru. Buenazo!

The atmosphere reminded me of a classic country diner--cozy, welcoming, and filled with an older crowd, which I honestly prefer. One thing I really appreciated was being able to seat myself. That's always a plus in my book. Sometimes being escorted to a table means ending up in that one awkward corner nobody wants... but I digress. Fun fact, diners were started in New England region of America in the 1850s. All this to say, I love a good diner. I mean the American diner has always been there for middle America. The closest one to me and honestly it's definitely hidden away is the Maitland Breakfast Club. It's pretty much situated on the boundary line of where the City of Altamonte Springs starts. They have large space that's casual and what you would expect for a diner. Anyone can walk in wearing their Sunday best to pajamas. The waitresses are very welcoming and exactly the kind of person I would expect to invite me into a diner. We had gone on a Saturday afternoon and they're not a diner that's open late, so more of a breakfast diner really. Now I got the eggs Benedict with bacon and hash browns. For me, there are three breakfast staples I believe all amazing must revisit breakfast places should have. A good cup of warm regular coffee, eggs Benedict, and good crispy hash browns. I mean some places have other things like lattes and hash brown bowls, and I'm not saying those aren't good. However, when you nail the basics, you can do anything else. The hollandaise sauce was great and didn't split and bacon was crispy. The hash browns were super crispy, which I loved, and I could tell it had been made on a flat top grill, which is another very classic American restaurant kitchen appliance. The cup of coffee was good, I mean they had the sugar packets and the creamers right there. Overall, I would rate it a 9/10 and it set us back about $15 for just my portion. I will be back (said menacingly), Maitland Breakfast Club.
