Always a great time to get lunch here with my coworkers. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Even when they are busy. The spot is amall but they make it work. Beautiful simple decor and decently priced items. The space is open enough to move around.

I come here exclusively for the Pan con Chicharrón. Im allergic to dairy so this is one of the few things I can eat here. The lomo saltado empanada is good too. They dont have many dairy free options, no gluten free options and nothing vegan.

These Peruvian empanadas are absolutely delicious! The Lomo Saltado and Aji De Gallina empanadas were my favorites. Everything is fresh and tasty. The service is very helpful and they explain the menu items very well. The ambiance is a small bakery with limited seating but they do offer a great lunch special! Highly recommend.

I've been coming to Peruanisima Bakery for several months now, and I truly believe it's a hidden gem that more people should know about. I originally found out about this spot through my girlfriend's mother, who has been a regular since it opened. My go to is the Lurin Breakfast, which comes with a chicken tamal, sweet potato fries, chicharron, fresh bread, and pickled red onions. You can eat everything separately, but I like to combine it all into a sandwich, it's absolutely delicious! This past Sunday, I tried their aji de gallina and lomo saltado empanadas for the first time, and they instantly became my new favorite empanadas. What really stood out was how packed the filling was, every bite was full of flavor. Highly recommend trying these if you're a fan of empanadas. The bakery is small, so I've only had the chance to eat inside once, but I typically order my food to go. Either way, the food is worth it!

I had them on my list to try, since I saw the sign when they were still setting up in the plaza. It sure is a nice addition to the area, as you can get a variety of baked goods, empanadas and specials from Peru or similar to other Latin American goodies. The staff is nice, friendly, attentive and will answer any questions you may have or make suggestions. The shop is small but there is some seating inside and a couple of tables outside. I wanted an empanada and a sweet treat, so I ordered the chicken empanada (they are baked, which I like better than fried) and a pan de yema. Both were very tasty, fresh, made to order and good quality. If you are around the area, definitely stop by and check them out!

As a Peruvian, I was excited about the new Peruvian bakery opening in Altamonte Springs. I bought Peruvian tamales and empanadas from the owner for years before she opened the bakery. I love having a Peruvian bakery close to home. If you are not familiar with Peruvian baked goods or breakfast, I recommend starting slow and sharing some of the items. Here you can find a variety of sweet and salty pastries and other baked goods. Remember that these are Peruvian styles, so empanadas and tamales will be different from other Latin American cultures. I ordered the Desayuno Lurin ( Lurin Breakfast) is a traditional breakfast with a tamal, sweet potatoes slices, pork ( chicharron), and fresh french bread. This is my absolute favorite and the first thing I order when I go back to Peru. The portion is large, so I recommend sharing. To enjoy this platter better, you need to cut the bread and fill it up with sweet potatoes, chicharron, and pickled onion. My second favorite is the empanadas, especially the beef and lomo saltado. In Peru, we squeeze a little bit of lime into our empanadas. That's my tip. There are also desserts including some with lucuma ( a fruit that doesn't grow here in the States). The flavor is hard to describe, but it is my favorite. It is good! If you want a whole Peruvian experience, order an Inca Kola or a chicha morada. The place is small, only a few tables available outside and a couple outside. I recommend ordering to go if you don't want to wait for a table. The space resembles a traditional neighborhood bakery in Peru where you only go to pick up. Peak days are on weekend mornings as everyone wants their Lurin Breakfast. Service is great. Everyone is super nice and friendly. Prices are reasonable too. There are Peruvian food items to purchase available too.

This is something that I would recommend 10 out of 10 if you want to try new authentic traditional food, this Peruvian restaurant is gorgeous stunning the display is amazing and the food is a 10 out of 10.

The food was good but a bit on the pricey side. It also took over 30 minutes to get our order and there was not enough room to eat inside or out. To be fair, there was a very large group outside that seemed to be pretty high maintenance. If the prices were more reasonable and they get their system down, I'll try again because the food is good.

Best Peruvian empanadas I've tried so far! I'm Peruvian, and finding good Peruvian empanadas is honestly a struggle... They also have Ají De Gallina and Lomo Saltado empanadas! They were both delicious I ordered the typical Desayuno Lurin and really enjoyed it! Staff was friendly, they were busy and my order took a little longer than I wanted... I recommend placing your order over the phone if you're not going to be dining in. If you're a dessert lover then you're in luck because they also have a huge variety of Peruvian desserts! Ambiance 4/5: the place is small but very cute.

I really like going to Peruanísima if I need a taste of home. Their chicharron sandwiches are BOGO on Tuesdays which is a great offer. I always get their butifarra sandwich cold, it tastes better that way. I wish they would give more sauce to eat it with the sandwich. I like to also get a chicken empanada, because the flavors are delicious. The restaurant inside is cute and has vibrant colors. The service is always nice and attentive. I highly recommend this place if you want a treat from Peru. Buenazo!

We arrived just after the lunch rush, which gave me time to really study the menu board... and wow, there were so many tempting options. I went with the Wobble savory crepe, loaded with turkey, chicken, mushrooms, onions, spinach, and tomato. They recommended the Cajun remoulade, but I swapped it for blue cheese--and let me tell you, that was an excellent call. An absolute home run. One of the things I really appreciated was being able to watch the crepes made from start to finish. Everything looked fresh, and they were more than happy to customize ingredients along the way--no hassle at all. The staff was pleasant and friendly, the dining area was spotless, and since the weather was perfect, we chose to eat on the patio, which made the experience even better. My only complaint? They don't have a location in Oklahoma! We do have a crepe spot back home, but I've never tried their savory crepes. After this visit, I'm inspired to give it another shot--though The Crepevine set the bar pretty high. Fantastic lunch, great atmosphere, and well worth the stop. I'd happily return on my next Florida visit.

The crepes themselves are made fresh and arrive genuinely warm, which is half the battle. I ordered the buffalo chicken crepe and appreciated the good kick it had. The fillings were competent but unremarkable, nothing that made me think "I need to come back for that specific crepe." The chicken had a tendency to slide toward the bottom as I ate, which was a bit of a nuisance especially when your first 2-3 bites are all lettuce and tomato If you're looking for something easy and quick to grab for lunch, The Crepevine delivers. It's the kind of place where the experience is enjoyable partly because of what it is rather than it being exceptional at what it does. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, making it a good spot to pop in with friends or grab something on your way. If I'm in the area and want something a little different from the usual lunch routine, I'd happily return.

Fun fact, diners were started in New England region of America in the 1850s. All this to say, I love a good diner. I mean the American diner has always been there for middle America. The closest one to me and honestly it's definitely hidden away is the Maitland Breakfast Club. It's pretty much situated on the boundary line of where the City of Altamonte Springs starts. They have large space that's casual and what you would expect for a diner. Anyone can walk in wearing their Sunday best to pajamas. The waitresses are very welcoming and exactly the kind of person I would expect to invite me into a diner. We had gone on a Saturday afternoon and they're not a diner that's open late, so more of a breakfast diner really. Now I got the eggs Benedict with bacon and hash browns. For me, there are three breakfast staples I believe all amazing must revisit breakfast places should have. A good cup of warm regular coffee, eggs Benedict, and good crispy hash browns. I mean some places have other things like lattes and hash brown bowls, and I'm not saying those aren't good. However, when you nail the basics, you can do anything else. The hollandaise sauce was great and didn't split and bacon was crispy. The hash browns were super crispy, which I loved, and I could tell it had been made on a flat top grill, which is another very classic American restaurant kitchen appliance. The cup of coffee was good, I mean they had the sugar packets and the creamers right there. Overall, I would rate it a 9/10 and it set us back about $15 for just my portion. I will be back (said menacingly), Maitland Breakfast Club.

I ordered one of my favorites, the Brown Rice Bowl and it was fresh and more than filling for lunch. Various flavored mimosas were enjoyed also. I went again last week with local friends as all three of us enjoy this place (and its mimosas!!) One friend tried the Chunky Chicken Salad on the menu (seasonal fruits and berries with zucchini bread sandwiches) and commented on the presentation (which Briarpatch is also well known for) and the freshness of the fruit. She especially enjoyed the zucchini sandwiches! Her husband ordered the Roast Beef Sandwich as it is one of his favorites on the menu. He devoured every bite of it and was very pleased with the tenderness of the beef and the flavor of the au jus. I ordered the Short Rib Benedict as I eyed it a few weeks back. It did not disappoint! Plenty of shredded, perfectly cooked short rib was on a bed of crispy hash browns. Two poached eggs covered in hollandaise sauce sat nicely on top of this amazing dish. It was heaven! Based on the above, I trust you can understand why I love this place. Outdoor seating, exemplary service each and every time I visit and food that is picture-perfect and tastes outstanding. But I've gone twice and each time everyone has agreed that the bagels have no flavor. On top of the bagels being bland the cream cheese is put on the side. Some people may like that, but I'd prefer for the cream cheese to be applied already to my bagel. Not to also mention that it's over priced. For a bagel and cream cheese it ends up being ~ $5 with tax. I think this place would be better if they maybe at least made bagel sandwiches like salmon and locs, bacon/egg/cheese etc. I had a chance of trying their coffee and even that was underwhelming.
