Hot food

I stopped in here for a quick bite before work. It's a cute restaurant with a walk up counter and regular dining. The cashier was polite and helped me pick food within my dietary guidelines. They have a good selection of sweets and quick grab and go savory pastries too. I wanted to get some Yucca, but it was filled with beef, so I passed. I'll have to come back when I have a chance to sit to eat.

First time today at this place! It's a cute nice whole in the wall type of restaurant. They have tables to sit but you can also order take out by the bakery. The arepas were ok but the empanadas and pan de bono were SO good! The waitress was very nice and keep checking on us. The only reason why I had to take points off, I went to the restroom and saw a HUGE roach! It made me lose my appetite after seeing that because it makes you wonder where else is there roaches here. Sad because it's a very good spot.

The service here was excellent and the food was equally as good! I went here for a work lunch and the service was really great. Our server gave us some cheese bread (made from tapioca flour and cheese) and bread pudding to try for free. Loved the cheese bread so it is definitely worth a try! I ordered a caramel latte which was very flavorful and the churrasco bowl. The churrasco bowl alone is worth coming back for! Everything was flavorful and cooked well. They have inside and outside seating options and appear to have a "grab and go" counter too if you're in a hurry.

Parva is a Colombian bakery offering a variety of breakfast, lunch, and dinner items. If you are craving Colombian empanadas, pan de bono, or a bunuelo, this is the place to go in the Lake Mary/ Sanford area. The place has a large indoor seating area and a few outdoor seats. Usually, I pick up a few things for breakfast, and service has always been fast and great. My favorites are the pan de bonos, beef empanadas, chorizo and area paisa. Always ask for the aji (spicy sauce) and the green sauce; both are excellent choices for your empanadas. I can't forget about the coffee. They make a delicious cafe con leche here. They also have a fridge with frozen packaged items to buy, including corn arepas or chorizos. Definitely, check it out if you are in the area. Great flavors and different options for breakfast if you feel like trying something new. I still need to try lunch and dinner, especially the bandeja paisa and the meat (which is why I gave it a 4-stars, since I still need to try those).

Cute place. The chicken over tostones had good flavor, but the chicken was way overcooked. If I were nearby, I might try again because I also had the pan de bono, which were good.

Cachappas and Bacon, Eggs, and Cheese on pressed Cuban Bread.

Culinary Carnival at Parva - Where Breakfast Dreams Come True! Step right up, food enthusiasts! Prepare to be transported to a flavor-filled fiesta at Parva - the Colombian/Venezuelan gem that tickles your taste buds and takes you on a gastronomic journey like no other. Our adventure began with the enticing aroma that enveloped us upon entering. It was like stepping into a world where breakfast dreams danced in the air. Now, we had our hearts set on a classic breakfast - bacon, eggs, and cheese on toasted Cuban bread. And boy, did Parva deliver! The heavenly scent alone could make your grandma's cooking jealous. My sister and I decided to synchronize our culinary choices, and we both went for the breakfast delight. As we took our first bite, we were practically serenaded by the symphony of flavors - a harmonious blend of crispy bacon, perfectly cooked eggs, and gooey cheese on that oh-so-toasty Cuban bread. It was so good that we almost considered ordering another round just for the encore. But being the adventurous foodies we are, we couldn't resist trying the cachapas. Now, I must admit, we were a tad inexperienced in the world of cachapas, and perhaps our taste buds weren't fully prepared for the fiesta that ensued. The cachapas were good, but hindsight is 20/20, and we realized we missed the memo on adding cheese and meat. Rookie mistake, folks. Now, here's the golden nugget of advice for future Parva adventurers - don't stop at the breakfast bonanza! As we looked around, we couldn't help but notice other dishes parading by, each more tantalizing than the last. Promise yourselves this: on your next visit, venture beyond the breakfast classics and explore the uncharted territory of Parva's menu. There are undoubtedly treasures awaiting your taste buds. Parva, you've earned a spot in our breakfast-loving hearts - and quite possibly, our dreams! And to the other dishes that beckon us with their tempting aromas, fear not - we'll be back. Until then, Parva, keep those flavors sizzling, and we'll keep dreaming of our next culinary escapade in your delightful haven! PS: I forgot about the coffee--that coffee was amazing too!

Grilled Chicken Rice Bowl with Arepa Paisa

Absolutely love Parva! The food is always amazing, so fresh and well seasoned. The grilled chicken bowl with rice, red beans, plantain, avocado, corn has become one of my favorites. They also have a great selection of desserts, I never leave without a few quesitos ;-) I really like the layout, it feels more like a home with music playing in the background which is really comforting. There's indoor and outdoor seating. The service is good. Always a great experience when me and family visit.

I would give more than 5 stars if I could !!! I will preface that breakfast is my favorite meal of the day so we came early morning and this hit the spot ! First time here and what a wonderful experience , great food and coffee Pictures don't do it Justice to be honest. You need to try the Pan de Bono !!! Such a fluffy bread , just try it We ordered a quesito, café con leche and a ham , egg and cheese sandwich with fries. It was perfect! The beef empanada was great as well! Such a gem hidden in Sanford and they are opening a location in Deland, FL. Can't wait for the new location and to come back here Thank you!

There's a level of familiarity in both the flavors and the experience that's hard to find. I usually order the bandeja paisa, and it's exactly what you'd want from a classic. Generous, flavorful, and true to tradition. It's the kind of dish that brings you back to the roots of Colombian cooking. The beef empanadas are another favorite. Crispy on the outside, packed with flavor on the inside, and consistently satisfying every time. Between the authenticity, the quality, and the consistency, La Antioqueña is a place I keep coming back to.

The lunch special ropa vieja was okay, not much sauce and a little dry for my liking. Perhaps this is just the Colombian style of ropa. It came with delicious soup and plantains. I ordered ahead online and did curbside pickup, but I'd definitely like to eat inside next time cause it seems like a fun atmosphere and good casual vibe. Will definitely be back to try some other things they're known for (friends rave about the bandeja paisa).

I went with yellow rice, red beans, and sweet plantains. My wife ordered the chicken combo with a side of yellow rice and yuca (her first time trying yuca!). The lady helping us (pretty sure it was the owner) was incredibly friendly and patient, guiding us through the menu like old friends. We paid, grabbed a table, and dug in. My wife took one bite of the rotisserie chicken and declared it the best she's had in ages--juicy, perfectly seasoned, and falling off the bone. No surprise there; we spotted those massive rotisserie ovens spinning away, so chicken is clearly their specialty! She then tried the yuca (boiled and crispy-edged, I assume) and loved it--said it was buttery and addictive. Her yellow rice had tasty chunks of different meats mixed in, and she couldn't stop raving about the flavor. I mixed my yellow rice (a different style from hers) with the red beans on the plate--pure comfort food heaven, rich, savory, and perfectly balanced. The sweet plantains? Outstanding. Caramelized just right, sweet but not overpowering, soft inside with that ideal crisp edge. Every bite was perfection. The place had a great vibe too--clean bathrooms, lively Spanish beats playing, and a casual, welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. We're already planning our next visit to try more dishes (that mofongo and rotisserie chicken platter are calling our names!). If you're craving authentic Puerto Rican BBQ and sides done right, Lelo's is a must-stop. Highly recommend--5 stars all the way!
