The customer services here was subpar. I wanted a shirt embroidered with a exclamation point on it and when I go get the shirt the exclamation point looks like a one . The lady that was helping me acted like it could not be made to look like a exclamation point and didn't really want to try to fix it until I made it her. I would use causation and look for alternatives next time. read more

I really hope this shop stays around. I've finally found a place to get my son's stuff embroidered! Doris was very kind and professional and did everything she could to make sure my product was done correctly. I was happy to see they do so many different things there from uniforms to personalized wrist bands. Now I'm thinking about taking my letterman's jacket in to have it even more personalized. I have tried this place numerous times. I have no idea where else to get embroidery done after 5 pm except online. It does not matter if you pay upfront or how big/small your order is or if they know they messed up your order. These folks just don't care. It does not matter if you have a set date that you absolutely need them done by....this place just doesn't care. They treat you like your a problem. I am not sure how this store stays open. Even when you finally get the product its not anything to brag about. I give them 1 star because I have to in order to post this review. read more

The only reason I'm giving this place 3 stars is because the shirts came out good except 1. They need to give better training to the employees, stopped by about 5 times to check my order and the girl had no idea where it was, I had to find it my self. Also very poor communication order was done 4days late. I'll give them a second chance on our next big order hopefully it will be better. read more

You can judge for yourself. I don't usually write bad reviews because I'd like to think that things happen, and I need to be gracious enough to allow mishaps. However, this is just unacceptable. I had 5 towels monogrammed on a Thursday. The nice lady told me it'll be ready by Monday the following week. I went to pick it up on Thursday, 3 days after it was promised, but it wasn't ready. She promised Monday the following week. I said ok, but when we showed up Monday, a week after it was promised, it still wasn't ready! No phone calls to inform me. I was smart to call ahead this time about 5:30pm, spoke to the owner Doris, and she told me over the phone it's not ready and she will make sure she gets it done that night. I am giving them a 1 because that's the lowest option. Here is my story: June 9 I bring a very large order. I had previously had the design artwork done and it was in their system. The young girl, very sweet, helped us. Seems to know what she's doing. When we arrived on this date with the order, we saw Leo the Owner. Our gut told us to leave but we ignored the warning. We should've waiting for the young girl that worked with us initially. We showed Leo a pic of our design on the back of shirts. I emailed him 6/10 to make sure he knew designs went on back of garments. So, our order 15 female shirts/dresses that I PROVIDED, 8 men's shirts, which they had to order, 1 tarp needing 4 screen prints, 6 baseball caps for embroidery and 12 bucket hats for embroidery. We provided Leo with all the details which he put in the computer. Leo says they could have it all ready 6/15. I say, no problem, we will be out of the country, we will come on the 22nd. We arrive midday and as others have reviewed, order NOT ready. Wife/Owner is who I'm speaking to now and she says Leo will be in at 6 to complete. I have a few words with her about why, what should've been done, etc. She assures us it will be done before closing. We return within an hour of closing and the embroidery on the hats isn't complete, Leo didn't do the tarp because now his excuse is he was scared to burn the material, even though the manufacturer told him the heat settings and ALL OF THE FEMALE ITEMS had screen printing on the front. I WAS BEYOND PISSED. These items were needed the next day. Ultimately his wife goes around trying to replace the items, ordering from Amazon, had the screen printing done, etc. At the end of the day, we decided that this was the WORSE experience ever. NEVER AGAIN. We had planned to use them with our group but NOPE, won't happen. We ended up being reimbursed for what they couldn't replace and what they messed up. While out with our group, we noticed that Leo did the screen print on one of my husband's shirt and it was so far off center, it looked like the shirt was twisted. MORAL OF THE STORY; Read Reviews. I don't write reviews very often, but Personalizing-It definitely deserves one. Personalizing-It was the biggest disappointment and waste of my time during my wedding! My husband had planned to make tshirts for his groomsmen to wear for their guys outing, and unfortunately he had to cut that idea because Personalizing-It failed to complete our order. We went in on a Monday and the girl working informed us we could bring our own shirts and that if we brought them in and placed our order by Tuesday, they could have the shirts ready for by Thursday. I took the shirts in on Tuesday and spent over an hour in the store with Doris and some new girl reviewing my simple design of 'Groom/Groomsman' text across the chest with a bow-tie image by the neckline! I understand new girl is in training, but when new girl clearly does not know what she is doing and Doris is having to correct her constantly, it is just unprofessional and inconsiderate of the customer. Doris finished my order and promised my order would be ready by 7 pm on Thursday. She even made note of Thursday by 7 pm on my invoice in the notes section. Come Thursday, my husband rushed to pick up the tshirts before close and no tshirts! He was told they would be ready Friday morning. I called Friday morning to confirm the tshirts were ready before making another the trip to the store for pickup, and NO TSHIRTS! Believe it or not, no explanations either! I immediately drove to the store, picked up my untouched bag of tshirts with price tags still attached and got a full refund. Working in store that day; Doris. I asked to speak to a manager or owner, and unbelievably Doris is the owner and she had NOTHING to say about the situation. Considering I paid for the shirts upfront in full I'm surprised my order was completely disregarded. I appreciate Doris's effort to get my design right that I wasted over an hour in store when I brought my shirts in, but that effort means nothing when there's nothing to show for at the end of the day. I DO NOT recommend Personalizing-It to anyone! Save yourself the time and trouble, and take your business somewhere else. read more

I was hopeful when I first came across this shop. I quickly found the level of customer service to be subpar because they are understaffed. I had several jobs of which all but one were done wrong and new materials had to be rebought at their expense to redo both jobs entirely. Additionally, I was told my job would be done on a particular day and come to find it was not. I had to make several calls and trips to get the one job completed right and I had to pick up the original job over one month from the date promised because of this. The last straw was when I overlooked all their mistakes to give them one last chance and they ignored me, so they could tend to another customer that came in after me who was picking up another job. Mind you there is only one person in the shop working the front desk. I up and left and promised myself I'd never return again. They lost a big job. I would not recommend this shop due to poor customer support and lack of integrity (job is often not completed on day promised). Given my odds with how much they messed up my jobs and the length of time it took for them to finish them, I would never go to them again. read more

I would not recommend this business. We have gone there on several occasions in the past and never had the problems that we did this time. First, we ordered 14 t-shirts for our grandchildren. We were given the date of Dec. 5th that they would be ready for pick up. On the 6th, as we were on our way there, I decided to call and make sure they were ready, only to be told that the shirts had not even arrived from their vendor, and it would be several more days. No one called to inform us of the delay. Leo, the owner, called us on the 12th to tell us the order was ready. We told him we would be there the next day to pick them up. On the 13th, we went by only to find that we were short one shirt. Sky, whom we been dealing with the entire time, asked if we wanted to take the shirts. My husband asked if he would have to pay the balance of the order and she told him yes. He said he wasn't paying for merchandise he hadn't received, and he would wait for the entire order. All we got was, "Sorry" multiple times. I asked if Leo was there and I was told, "No he isn't. Sorry." We left and hadn't been home for more than five minutes when we got a call from Sky informing us that our order was ready. She never told us that they could make it while we were there. Otherwise, we would have just waited. We were not happy! Today (the 15th) my husband went by after work and was told Leo would be in after 5:00. He walked around the mall, went back at 5:15 and was told Leo wasn't coming in at all today! Another young lady offered to call Doris. the co-owner. My husband spoke with her and explained everything and was told that Sky had informed her that we did not want Leo called the night we were there, which was a lie! Doris did give us a discount and tried to make everything right. When my husband got home, while checking the shirts, I found the invoice with, "Leo, this customer is angry. He says that one 5T/YXS is missing and he refuses to pick up/pay until finished. " My husband did not refuse; he was asked if he wanted to pay for the order. The problem we have is she is making it sound as if we didn't have a right to not pay for something we did not receive. Their work is great and the prices are great, but it's definitely not worth the frustration and aggravation from this inept employee. read more
