Brought in a few uniforms to have my name embroidered and Anil was able to get it done in 10 minutes. Looked great!

Unprofessional work. Ruined the hats I brought in. I had two hats embroidered as a gift for a friend. A few weeks later, when I saw my friend, even he was unsatisfied with how they came out so I offered to return them. I took them back to the store but the owner instead claimed the hats he ruined were "the only way they could do it," which was to sew through the structure of the hat which caused them to buckle and wrinkle on the embroidery. Not to mention the embroidery is uneven. He then blamed the choice of font rather than admitting it wasn't quality work. Why do they offer a font that they can't work with without ruining the product? Beats me. Now I'm out $50 for the uneven embroidery and another $30 for the hats themselves. Because it was outside of the 2 day return policy (another detail they didn't mention when purchasing) he said there was nothing he could do and claimed that I had been wearing the hats. Luckily, these were new hats and not something that was special or important to me. Learn from my $80 lesson and avoid this place so you don't have to waste your money here like I did. There are plenty of cheaper options with better customer service and higher quality. read more

Returned here after having previous good service. Left my item with Anil, the owner, on Monday at 2:30 in the afternoon. He said he was really busy because he'd just returned from vacation but assured me my item - something needed for work - would be ready Wednesday. His store's page on the mall's website says he's open until 7:00 p.m., so I asked to verify before leaving. He laughed and said, "No. I usually leave around 6:00, maybe 6:30 if I'm busy." I arrived on Wednesday afternoon at 5:45, and he hadn't touched my project. He hadn't written down the instructions for placement of the embroidery and forgot what we discussed. Instead of calling me to verify, he just put it on the shelf and waited for me to show up. Imagine my surprise when he didn't recognize the name on the order or what the item was. Finally he pulled it out from under the counter and told me about his memory lapse. That didn't go over well with me or the other customers who were bringing in items to drop off for embroidery. One left as she was telling her husband her item was too important to leave it in the hands of someone so lackadaisical. The woman Anil was waiting on before me left with her unembroidered merchandise because her order wasn't ready when promised. He told another customer her order wouldn't be ready for a week because he was going out town. From the conversation he had with another man behind the counter who told him to "have fun and win some money", it sounds like he's going on a gambling junket of some sort. It appears he cares more about his personal satisfaction than that of his customers. He did get my item done while I waited, which I appreciated. Thankfully it looks good. I won't return here though. Pro is same day turn-around, fast and reasonably priced. Con is the customer service is sub par at best, the owner/manager is rude and lacks effective communication skills. I regret not leaving. Luckily, I was able to borrow a ruler from the assistant and figure out on my own dimensions (length, width and height) and placement (using photos from similar items). Timing was on my side and there was a lady in the store who was able to both translate and mediate to get me through the process. This was a frustrating experience. We decided to go through with the embroidery because of a timing issue. Edit: I reflected back and recall now the sequence of events that set him off. A lady who was placing an order at the same time caught a spelling error on the mock of my order. She told me. I thanked her. The mock-up guy got pissed. He was afraid to direct his anger at the Caucasian lady. So, instead he took his frustration out in the me. He has families to feed so he cowards and stayed in his lane. It's frustrating and disappointing. So, if you fit his respected demographic, you should expect great treatment. If not, consider going in with the your own mock up to dimension. read more

They lost my item and when I came back looking for it they finally found it and it had not been embroidered. They said there was no one who could embroider it and they were on vacation. It was supposed to be done the next day and it had been 5 and was never touched. On top of losing the item they were unable to get the work done and had horrible customer service! read more

Was in search of a gift and happened upon this store. They did a great job figuring out what what I want to embroider on the sweater and it came out great. Helpful and friendly customer service. They made sure to explain the length of time my sweater would be done and also called me to double check my order was correct. Embroid It has been SUPER wonderful and timely in the past - I have used them many times for many different projects and they always turn out great. However, this last time I visited, the shop owner was on vacation (no problem - everyone has to go on vacation!) I was informed that it would take a week to get my items embroidered (they usually do same or next day but once again, no problem, I wasn't in a rush). I asked for the price, and it was 40% higher than the last time I had used them. I didn't appreciate the price raise, especially for an unusually long turnaround time, but they always do good work so once again, no problem - I didn't mind paying. After dropping off my items, I needed to make a change to my order (switching from one color to another). I spoke to a woman on the phone and she ensured me that she would make the change on my order form. When I came to pick up my items, I realized that the change had NOT been made and one of my items was now the wrong color. I gave them a call and spoke to the owner - kindly explained the situation and asked for a solution or a way to fix the item. He kind of rudely said he had no record of my phone call and the item couldn't be fixed. Understandable, so I kindly asked for a refund. He again said that because he just had someone temporary filling in for him over vacation - it wasn't his fault, he had no record of my change, and that he couldn't offer me a refund. I said that I was disappointed and started to thank him for his time, but he hung up on me. I hate to stop using Embroid It, but a little bit of customer service would have gone a long way. I was a bit disappointed by my experience at this shop. The man who assisted me was helpful and did the work very quickly (within 30 min of me turning in my items) and the work was done well; however, we didn't discuss pricing beforehand and I was shocked when he told me I owed $70 for two items. I had a tennis bag embroidered with a small name that was $25 and a shirt that had a small chest pocket embroidered with a name and two works which cost $44. I was also suprised because he had several people come in while I was there and he told them they could pay at pickup and didn't give them a quote but required me to pay before he did the work. It seemed a little strange to me. They claim their prices are competitive but I can't imagine stores charging more than this for a simple shirt pocket embroidery. That just seems outrageous to me. Next time I will call for pricing before committing because this is not an affordable option. read more

Overall - they got the work done - but I didn't have a great experience. Took a bib and burp cloth to be monogrammed. They were very helpful in picking out the monogram details and said to come back in 30 minutes. Awesome! When I got back, they had monogrammed the wrong side of the bib. One person tried to tell me it was fine - however, there was a tag and the stitching clearly indicated that it was the back of the bib. So they agreed to fix their error. Well - when I went to pick it up, they had put a tacky bear on the bib (not what I wanted) in order to cover their mistake AND tried to charge me a couple of dollars more "because it takes a lot of work to take out the monogram". He did bump that down when I brought it to his attention but overall I was not happy with the job they did on the bib or the customer service. The burp rag was monogrammed as requested on the correct side and it looked great so they got half of it right. read more

Stay away from this place. The 5 state reviews are fake, you can easily tell. The Indian guy that works there has no integrity and is a big liar. They embroided a shirt I bought was very expensive and they DAMAGED THE DESIGN. They literally smooshed the design with the shirt and it looks stupid. I told them I'm not happy with the service they then BLAMED it on the shirt. I then bring this shirt to a professional to see if they can fix it and the professional told me that the damage is too severe and the work done on the shirt was very unprofessional. The professional was mad for me because they see the details of the work and they say that's just not how you do embroidery. I still don't understand how this place still in business ,This place just trying to take YOUR MONEY. They are not willing to fix any issues. I will never return to embroid it. I took a square pillow and robe to be monogrammed and the robe turned out fine, however the worker didn't do the pillow at all because she didn't know how to place the monogram on the pillow. We waited the 20 minutes for it to be done only to have the monogram be uncentered and lopsided on the pillow. To resolve th issue, we were required to stand there and call the owner ourselves, only to get less then half of the price back. They offered to redo it but we were leery to let them try again. Overall, we had a horrible experience with mediocre results. Definetly not worth the money or the time. read more

I would like to give this shop ZER0 stars. The experience I had here was beyond horrible. I brought two king pillow shams to be embroidered with my monogram. When I picked up the pillow shams and got home I realized one of the monograms was off center. I called the owner and he told me I could reorder the pillow sham and he would reimburse me for the cost of ordering a new sham and re-do the monogram on the new one. I brought in the new pillow sham and the old one to show him the off centered monogram. He owner started ripping the thread from the off-center monogram and said he would re-do that one and told me to send back the new pillow sham because he did not want to reimburse me like he said he would on the phone. I told him I had already paid shipping costs that were non refundable. He reluctantly said he would do a new monogram on the new pillow case. When I went back to pick up the new correct pillow cover, the monogram was smaller than the original that matched the first pillow case that was done correctly. The embroidery was also sloppy like they had rushed through the new one. They told me they would not be able to fix it again and that they did not do refunds because they did not know how. He also told me some alarming things in our conversation of how to make this right. He told me that the embroidery at his shop "will not always be perfect." When I asked for a gift card, since I had still already paid $55 per monogram and only received one correct one, that he did not do gift cards but that he would remember me and do a monogram for free next time. When I told him I would like him to monogram a blanket sold in his shop right then abs there he said no, but that if I would "come back" he would "take care of it." I got the feeling this was his way of getting rid of me as cheaply as possible. Visit this shop at your own risk. If they make a mistake, they will not be apologetic and they will not make it right if it is of any cost to them. read more

I have been monogramming things frequently for over the past 10 years-- embroid it is a diamond in the rough. reasonably priced. fast. amazing quality. i found embroid it a few months ago and since then have had MANY things done, such as party favors, dance bags, backpacks, tote bags, jackets, and pouches. Horrible! I stopped in to have a single letter added to 2 Christmas Stockings. They had me pay in advance. I wasn't worried since the machine actually does the work. But, apparently that can be screwed when a dumbass is running the machine. I went to pick up my stockings and the store was busy. I waited a bit then asked if my stockings were ready (this was the 2nd time I had stopped by to pick them up since I was told it would take 5 minutes). I walked out of the store and down the hall of the mall and notice the monograms were not in the same location on both stockings! One is an inch or more higher, and neither is centered! That will look awful handing on my mantle. I thought to myself, why go back in they won't give me my money back, they don't care. Probably why they were in a bag and the guy didn't make eye contact with me when I picked them up. read more
