I picked up some chicken artichoke, a beer sausage, and a smoked maple. The smoked maple was outstanding and easily my favorite. The staff was friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. They greeted me right away and asked what I wanted to order, which I always appreciate. I also decided to try a brisket sandwich, which looked too good to pass up. The brisket itself was very good and full of flavor. That said, I am someone who pays close attention to food handling. I tend to notice when gloves are used as a substitute for proper hygiene rather than an added layer of protection. Unfortunately, that showed up here. The employee making my sandwich handled a large magic marker to write something, then immediately went back to preparing food without changing gloves. That is always disappointing to see. Because of that, I ended up eating more of the meat and less of the bread, but the quality of the brisket still stood out. I did take a picture of my brisket sandwich, but the picture did not do it justice, so I decided not to post it. Overall, there is a lot to like here, especially the incredible sausage selection and the friendly service. I would definitely come back to try the tri-tip sandwich. Would have ordered a pizza, but they ran out of pizza dough, since it is house made they don't have any extra in the fridge/freezer like you'd expect at a lot of places.
