My daughter and her best friend went to this bakery a few months ago and said it was the best churros they'd ever had. I took them back today to get them again, and this place seems really hit or miss. The churros were very stale and overpriced. (Side note a woman sneezed all over the bread cabinet in the corner so I don't recommend purchasing the bread for the next few days.) read more

We learned about this place through a friend/local chef/restaurant owner who happens to be from the same town in Guatemala as the owner. He said that they have "the best breakfast in all of Westchester" and so naturally we had to try it. He was right. This spot is absolutely delicious. We order the Desayuno Especial (Breakfast Special) which includes: two fried eggs with ranchero sauce, grilled chorizo, refried beans, fresh cream and cheese, ripe plantains and (HANDS DOWN THE BEST) handmade corn tortillas. (** ask for them a lil crispy**) Everything is cooked to perfection. Their is a perfect portion of each item, and together, each bite creates a symphony of flavors that keeps us speechless and "mmmmm"ing, totally focused on our plates the entire meal. Their Chicken Soup is like a silky, warm hug... a deeply nourishing flavor bomb (I am a total snob about Chicken soup in particular so, trust me on this one.) This is home cooking. You can TASTE the love in this food and we always leave feeling truly fed. This is our 5/6th time going and the owner Emilio recognized us and introduced himself-- super kind dude. We told him we usually get the same thing because it's so outstanding, so he recommended some other dishes that we will DEFINITELY be back for. Their tamales, the pork and chicken are excellent. I also enjoyed the pollo guisado, although it's not as good as my mother-in-law's. My wife really enjoys the horchata and tamarindo. They have some other nice dishes and pastries. read more

This family owned business is one of the best in Peekskill. The best cappuccino, all of the homemade food is fresh and delicious. They bake all of the fresh breads and desserts every day. The owner of this place is very dishonest. I have went to this shop 2 or 3 times and tried their caramel craze, which is really good. I have also tried their cinnamon frappe, which I didnt like; so on another day i went out with my family and ordered the carmel craze. When I tasted the frappe it didn't taste like caramel, it tasted more like cinnamon which I complained to the owner and he told me that they got it out of the carmel container so I went outside and sat in front of their store and tried it one more time and it was definitely cinnamon. When I looked back into the store and thought about going in there to have them taste it, i saw that the emptied caramel craze container was on the edge of the window instead of the trash. Don't go here they will refill the container with another flavor and tell you it's what you've ordered. The owner is lucky I'm not allergic to cinnamon, but there are people out there with that allergen. read more
