Love Perkins! Had eggs and hash browns with a side of pancakes and all was delicious! Our waitress who I didn't get her name was nice. The coffee however wasn't the best, tasted weak and just not good. The restaurant is pretty clean, restrooms are usually okay. Older gentleman behind the counter could be more friendly. But overall good experience.

Food was good. Service was good. I'd come back again. Great spot for last minute eats with the family

Grilled Cajun pork chops, Green Beans w/ Bacon and Real Mashed Potatoes

Ordered the Grilled Cajun pork chops w/ mashed potatoes and green beans on the side. As an appetizer; started with fried pickles. First let me give props, our server Valerie was great!! She was patient and very attentive our needs. For the appetizer; the fried pickles were SUPER salty. Could not even get through a 1/3 of the order Entree was a bit inconsistent. One pork chop was cooked perfectly; and the other was over cooked and tough to chew. Overall not a bad experience but wish it could've been better. Again, service was great

Smallest avocado I've ever seen next to a small biscuit. Rubber texture.

Hit or miss sadly..good for breakfast but generic and could be a cleaner place. Three stars is generous.

We were greeted with a smile and a polite and attentive server . They offer artisan sandwiches , burgers , salads , they have a small bakery and they even sell gelato . They also have a bar . Something for everyone! Although some of the reviews were harsh we found our lunch choices to be delicious and very well-made. I ordered a very simple sandwich of freshly sliced turkey, crispy bacon, and cheddar cheese on their artisan bread , served with a side of pasta salad. The sandwich was very good and filled with a nice amount of turkey and bacon . The pasta salad was average , simply made with a vinaigrette dressing. The turkey was moist and flavorful, the bacon was nice and crispy and the bread was thick and freshly sliced. Give it a try if you are in the area .

( I could see into the service area) Nice selection of baked goods. Panini's were good. Pasta salad tasted sour. The menu says they serve dinner, but they close at 8:00 pm.

JJ Delicatessen has an excellent assortment of meats, cheeses and dried goods, many from European countries like Germany and Poland. My girlfriend and I ordered sandwiches on a Saturday morning. We had to wait a little over twenty minutes, and the woman advised that next time we call our orders in ahead of time because the hot sandwiches take awhile. So that's your tip for the day. But they were worth waiting for. Fairly priced, excellent quality, and came with a few sides. I got the Polish sandwich special and my girlfriend got the Mediterranean sandwich special. There is a small seating area in the deli, but we took them with us and ate them in the car. It was a great lunch that we ate right before an afternoon of hiking at High Point State Park in NJ. Highly recommend this deli!

I really wish I could rate this place higher than this, but all that comes to mind when I think of…read morethis place is 'salty.' It seems like this is something of an institution and even for first-timers like us, it's not hard to see why. It's a European-leaning local deli that is clean, well stocked with interesting goodies, and that's is a cozy dining room in the front end of the shop. The two ladies we interacted with were fairly friendly and helpful, and after an agonising few minutes looking at the menu, we decided on the Polish and Italian sandwiches (vs heroes, which are bigger, cost a bit more, and are served on a roll). What I liked was the fresh tasting pickle that comes with the sandwich. In fact, the pickle may have been my favourite thing, period. The macaroni salad and potato salad were enjoyable if not particularly memorable. Now, the sandwiches. They look great, delicious even. We could tell they were made with care. From the first bite though, so I could think was, why's this SO salty? To this day, we're not sure what the culprit(s) were. Without the saltiness, I think they could have been delicious sandwiches. Perhaps this is how the locals like it. Maybe this is some sort of traditional way to prepare these sandwiches. All I know is that it traumatised my taste buds so much that I didn't have an appetite for another meal for the rest of the day. And of course I was quite thirsty for a few hours afterwards. I hope they keep improving and stay open for many more years.
