Although it is very common for there not to be seconds for guests, because they knew how much food was still untouched, I would have appreciated them just letting me know because we could have had the DJ make an announcement for our guests to get seconds. I didn't know how much extra food we truly had until we were packing up the truck. Other than that it was a wonderful venue. I really appreciate that we could bring in all of our own vendors except for the bartender. You have to use their bartender, Christian, but he is FANTASTIC and has several different packages to choose from.

This week we celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary. I reached out to Tennille to see if I could use the facility or if she had any ideas on doing something special to surprise my wife. They graciously are setting up a private table on the patio for us. I am bringing dinner and my wife and I will be able to enjoy and celebrate our love where we got married. I was blown away by the hospitality, cleanliness, and simple amenities of this conference space…read more During a 2-day training course, we were able to focus on the learning material and didn't even to think about our surroundings because it was so naturally manicured for our event. For example, we had 2 full meals (breakfast and lunch) along with snacks that were strategically put out during the day. On both days, we had a mixture of a continental breakfast with bagels, oatmeal, fruits, and toppings. One day, there was a hot breakfast buffet with eggs, bacon, etc. For lunch, there was a full salad bar, and hot dishes like grilled chicken or cod stuffed with crab. There were always plenty of healthy side dishes to boot. Throughout the day, coffee was available along with various snacks and light appetizers. I think the food offerings was the most surprising part of the experience. The classroom space we used was outfitted with standard adult learning trappings such as AV equipment, screens, tables, and wall space for posters. Our instructor remarked that he felt this location is really great for hosting classes. For a guy that's been in the teaching business for a long time, he's wasn't wrong!

I had a recent experience last month when I was presenting at the Arizona Health Equity Conference and my slides would not load- the IT staff was able to find the correct wires and dongles within minutes and the presentation was a raving success! Facility is clean and comfortable and wifi is fast. Food here is also always solid and self serve bottled water and soft drinks are available all day which is a plus.
